Brittney Has Her Consultation with Dr. Lee
Transcript
00:00I am very anxious to figure out what it is.
00:02I want to know the name of it, what my moles really are.
00:06My biggest worry today is not being able to get help.
00:10Hearing that, I don't think I'll be
00:12able to face or talk to anyone.
00:14I'll probably just isolate myself.
00:17My mom is here with me in spirit.
00:20She is my guardian angel.
00:22So we're just going to stay positive.
00:27Hi.
00:28How are you?
00:28Hi, Brittany.
00:30Yes.
00:30I'm Sandra.
00:31It's really nice to meet you.
00:32Nice meeting you, too.
00:33Welcome.
00:33What's going on here?
00:35What are you here for?
00:36Well, I have a lot of moles.
00:37Yeah, a lot of moles on my face and right here.
00:40May I touch for a second?
00:41OK.
00:44OK.
00:45Yes.
00:45I want to show you another one.
00:47The one that's on my arm.
00:49Ah, I can see why that would drive you crazy.
00:51This one right here has been on me for a long time.
00:55OK.
00:55But the ones on my face have been on me for about 11 years.
00:58OK.
00:59When I first got pregnant.
01:00Pregnancy will do that to us.
01:02Our skin will go wacko.
01:03Yes.
01:03Have you ever had any of these removed before?
01:05No, I went to the doctor and he told me.
01:09He says nothing he can do for me.
01:11And so I just, I just laugh at that.
01:14OK.
01:14Brittany has a lot of unusual bumps.
01:17When I feel these bumps, they're a little rubbery.
01:19They're flexible and spongy.
01:22You can feel when you push them into the skin
01:24and they bounce back out.
01:25I'm going to have to check her over a little bit more closely.
01:29Do you have any of the family members that have this?
01:31Um, it runs through my family, me and my mom.
01:34OK.
01:34So your mom, your mom has it.
01:36Well, she had them.
01:37Oh, she had them.
01:38She passed away.
01:38Oh, I'm sorry.
01:39I'm sorry.
01:40Did she, did she, she didn't pass away from any kind of complication
01:43with this?
01:47No, no, no.
01:49OK.
01:50Then brain.
01:51OK.
01:51And then breast.
01:51Oh my gosh.
01:53So start primary is a lung cancer.
01:55OK.
01:56Brittany's still a mystery to me.
01:57Maybe there's some relation to her mom and her cancer.
02:00I, I'm not sure.
02:02I need more information on Brittany so I can come up with a diagnosis.
