Miles Teller has had a pretty great year: He starred in Whiplash, which garnered critical acclaim and numerous nominations (including an Oscar nod for best picture) and now he's playing alongside Shailene Woodley in the second Divergent film. Has the fame gone to his head? Well, he does think Woodley is in love with him. Or, at least that's what he told us. (You'll have to push play above for more.)

00:08Your character is lovable, but we also sort of hate him.
00:11I just knew Peter was kind of like a more villainous character.
00:13I thought that was interesting.
00:14But as he's evolved, yeah, I love the fact that he's kind of come full circle a little bit.
00:19Him and Tris kind of form an alliance in a weird way.
00:21Oops, excuse me.
00:23Hey, Tris, I really like your hair, by the way.
00:24Did you try to cut it all short and weird?
00:26And they're so kind of opposite characters that you're not sure why.
00:30They always end up coming back together.
00:32I think that's because she's in love with me.
00:33That's a good theory.
00:34I mean, there's a lot of people that think that.
00:36There's a lot of amazing women that you've mentioned in this film.
00:39Yeah.
00:39What's it like working with so many great women?
00:41And it's just nice to see them in these great parts.
00:44You know, women, they're not somebody's girlfriend, they're not somebody's wife.
00:46They're really kind of these strong, independent characters.
00:49And the same way Kate, she's a nice representation of like a female actress
00:53and that you don't just have to play the sexy girl or the eye candy,
00:57that you can play somebody with a strong spirit.
01:00And so that's, yeah, that's what I've learned.
01:03Mmm.
