00:02I have tried many, many facials on Beauty With Me,
00:05but short of that one time when I got a vagina facial,
00:09I haven't gotten a lot of body treatments.
00:11This season, though, desperate to smooth and nourish my scaly winter skin
00:17and get a little bit of R&R in,
00:19I decided to book my very first body wrap at Premiere 57.
00:23Okay, on to the wrap.
00:25So I got the avocado silk wrap, which is designed to exfoliate,
00:29cleanse, and hydrate the skin on your body.
00:32I'm told it was a pretty standard body treatment,
00:35but for me, since it was my first time, I found it a little strange.
00:38When I got to the treatment room, I was shocked to find out that I was getting my wrap
00:42in what essentially was a really, really big shower.
00:46I was instructed to put on some disposable undergarments
00:50to prepare for the explosion of water I was about to experience.
00:54My esthetician was so kind and made me feel super comfortable.
00:57She started off the entire treatment by just cleansing my skin from foot to shoulder
01:02and then moved on to the exfoliating section.
01:05So this was a pretty, like, basic exfoliation, I would say.
01:08She left a layer of the cleanser on to kind of get things moving.
01:12She picked up a couple handfuls of brown sugar, scrubbed my entire body,
01:16and then rinsed the whole thing off.
01:18She used a combination of your average run-of-the-mill shower head to rinse my body off
01:24and this giant arm that had, like, five different nozzles on it.
01:29And when you turn it on, it's like an avalanche of water.
01:32It felt really good.
01:33It felt really relaxing.
01:35It, like, kind of felt like your own personalized jacuzzi jet situation,
01:39but I was lying, like, on a bed in the middle of a giant shower.
01:42Despite the fact that the room was heated with heating bulbs in the ceiling,
01:45which is why it was so red during the entire procedure,
01:47I definitely was cold between water sessions.
01:51So, like, while she was scrubbing me down, like, during the cleanser before,
01:54like, the nice, like, warm water was on me, I was a little chilly.
01:57But it was nothing too crazy.
02:00I got over it pretty quick because the final portion was really, really nice and warm.
02:05My esthetician got a little jar of the avocado body mask.
02:10So this is a very hydrating mask.
02:12It has essential oils in it.
02:13It has the avocado in it.
02:14It's nice and warm.
02:15She put it all over my body.
02:17And then she swaddled me in what appeared to be those foil blankets
02:23that you give runners after they've completed a race.
02:28Not that I would know, because I have never done that.
02:30But I imagine I would do that.
02:32She wrapped me all up in those foils, put some towels over me,
02:37and let me sit tight there for about 15 to 20 minutes,
02:40like a little baked potato, while the mask kind of seeped into my skin.
02:45This was the best part.
02:46It was very relaxing.
02:48I think I dozed off for a couple minutes there.
02:49It was nice and cozy.
02:51I felt like a little caterpillar in a cocoon.
02:53And then she unwrapped me, rinsed the whole thing off.
02:57I dried off with my clothes back on, and that was it.
02:59My skin felt a lot smoother and softer after the treatment.
03:03However, it's $180, and I do think that's quite expensive for what it is.
03:07What I do think is really worth it, though, is a day in the facility itself.
03:11Premiere 57 is essentially a huge bathhouse with a huge rooftop deck with jacuzzis in it,
03:17pools, saunas, the whole shebang.
03:19It normally costs $75 to have access to the bathhouse and all of its amenities,
03:23but you can actually get really good deals for it on Groupon.
03:26But for those of you who don't live in this area or don't really like the idea of going to
03:31a bathhouse,
