00:09Okay, so you play Junior on the show.
00:12What's the biggest lesson that you've learned from playing your character?
00:15I've learned not to be so gullible,
00:17because Junior's the most gullible character you've ever met in your entire life,
00:20and he's taught me not to fall for the dumbest stuff of all time.
00:23So it's been really cool learning about Junior's character over the seasons
00:26and just getting to play somebody as cool as him.
00:29I love that.
00:30So Refinery's all about women's empowerment and women being inspired.
00:33You work with a ton of women on the show.
00:35I do. Powerful, amazing women, mind you.
00:37What's the biggest lesson you've learned from women like Tracee Ellis Ross?
00:40I've learned to always be stylish and just elegant,
00:43and she just always stands up for what she believes in.
00:46Even on set, she makes sure to ask questions about where her character's going
00:50and telling people what she thinks about it.
00:52So just really speaking your mind.
00:54Totally.
00:55So what do you think is the best piece of advice that any other actor or actress has ever given
00:59you?
00:59Any other actor or actress?
01:01This is a tough one.
01:02I work with so many amazing actors and actresses.
01:05I think in general just being on set, absorbing all the knowledge is what I've learned.
01:10Just all the wisdom of Laurence Fishburne, Jennifer Lewis, Anthony.
01:14It's just really cool.
01:15I love that.
