00:00Hey guys, I'm Hannah, and today I brought my boyfriend to work!
00:05Hi, I'm Richard.
00:09For this Try This Challenge, we have been asked to dress the exact same for three days.
00:15People are either going to think we're brother and sister, like twins, matching,
00:20or maybe they'll think it's cute, or maybe they'll think we're just really weird.
00:24When I first met him, he wore flip-flops.
00:26He wore flip-flops, and I was like, that's not cute.
00:31She wants to be Parisian every day of her life, but then she has her days where I'm like,
00:37you're going to wear those sweatpants, but then she makes it look cool, and I don't know how she does
00:42it.
00:42One of my favorite outfits of his, actually, it was what he was wearing the first day that I met
00:46him.
00:47He was wearing this blue velvet overcoat thing. It was real sexy.
00:52She, every day, surprises me with new clothes that she gets.
00:55This top is actually from his mother. Thanks, Roxanne!
01:00He had a pair of stupid jorts, which, for those of you that don't know what they are, praise you,
01:05but they're jean cut-off shorts that he made himself, and he wore them.
01:09He literally wore them out, so we had this huge bonfire in his backyard, and we burned them.
01:14We always give each other feedback on our outfits, and so now it can be like, all right, what are
01:18we going to do together?
01:19There's a part of me that's like, oh my gosh, are people going to stare at us really weird?
01:23But we live in New York City, and there are other way weirder things to stare at.
01:28Excited for you guys to follow along with us on the next three days of us matching.
01:32Let's do it.
01:34Okay, it's day one.
01:36And we're matching.
01:38We're matching, so I'm wearing my Madewell patterned shirt, and Richard is wearing his J.Crew patterned shirt.
01:45And here we are. We are as strong as ever with our friendsies.
01:51Twinsies with our friends.
01:52Wait, show the pants.
01:53Black pants.
01:54Okay, end of day one. We didn't get, like, many bad stares. It was more of just like, oh, you
02:00guys are adorable. You're matching.
02:02Yeah, it wasn't so obvious. The patterns are close, but they're not...
02:06Close, but not...
02:07The same.
02:08Tomorrow, we're going to take it to a whole new level.
02:12Bye.
02:13Day two, coming up.
02:15We're both wearing our denim shirts, our black bottoms. I went with a skort, and Richard went with black pants.
02:23And then we both have our sneaks on.
02:26Honestly, one of the main things this morning when I woke up, I hadn't shaved my legs, so I wasn't
02:31totally keen on rocking this outfit.
02:33I was a little frustrated, and I think that that was one thing that I was like, oh, damn it.
02:37I have to match him today.
02:38So, like, I have to wear this outfit.
02:40But, so far, no, like, weird looks have been given. I honestly feel like people think it's kind of cute.
02:45Yeah, I saw one person smile as we were walking by. Kind of amazing.
02:48Because the denim is very similar in color.
02:50They're cute together.
02:51Yeah.
02:52So, that's us. Just, uh, matching away.
02:56Couple in denim.
02:56Couple in denim.
02:57Day two.
02:58Day two.
02:59I'm a little bit surprised by how little of a reaction we've gotten.
03:04That everybody's just like, those people are kind of matching. Whatever.
03:10So, all good.
03:14Okay, it is day three of matching, and today we have decided to wear black tops with green bottoms.
03:25I'm wearing a squirt. I feel very Kim Possible.
03:29I'm, uh, gonna suffer in pants again today.
03:32And, we're even matching all the way down to our feet with...
03:39Sushi socks.
03:40Mine are better.
03:41So, what I've learned is that we actually unintentionally buy a lot of the same stuff anyways.
03:47So...
03:47Or you just copy them.
03:48Or that.
03:50So, it's the end of day three.
03:53Day three.
03:53And, we couldn't end this weekend together without matching one more time in our pajamas.
04:01In and out!
04:03Yeah.
04:03How do you feel about matching for three days?
04:05It was fun.
04:07I liked it.
04:07It was just something different.
04:08And, uh, it was funny to see people's reactions, but it doesn't affect me.
04:13And, I think it was just a fun way to plan our outfits.
04:16Yeah.
04:17I think there were times when I was like, man, I really wish I could wear something different.
04:22But, having, like, a planned outfit.
04:25And, like, cause sometimes I wake up and I'm like, man, I don't feel like wearing that today.
04:29And, I didn't have that luxury this weekend where I, like, had to actually stick to what
04:34we had planned to wear.
04:35So, that was a little frustrating because I didn't feel like I had the freedom to express
04:39myself on the, like, depending on how I was feeling.
04:41It was really fun to dress alike and people thought it was really cute.
04:46Nobody thought it was weird or creepy.
04:48So, I get why it's a way that people kind of show that they're together publicly because
04:54it worked for us.
04:56Our love is stronger than it ever has been.
04:58We're a pain.
04:59We're all ale in Japan.
04:59We're all Atlantaerkamp.
05:00a sudden, obviously, but over to YouTube, and, of course, this is my
05:00We'll get pretty slowly.
