00:04On this episode of Beauty in a Snap, we're taking it back to the basics and talking all
00:08about neutral eyeshadow colors.
00:11So today, with the help of two friends, we're going to show you three really cool looks
00:14that you can do with three neutral palettes.
00:16Let's get started.
00:17Hey, what's up guys?
00:18It's your girl, Serena, and today I'm going to show you how to do a full eye look using
00:21a neutral palette.
00:22I'm using ELF's Flawless Eyeshadow, and what's cool about this is it actually has steps to
00:26show you where to put each shadow.
00:29So first we have base, lid, crease, and line.
00:32I'm going to apply a little bit of this shimmery gold on my brow bone.
00:36Gives it a nice highlight.
00:39Next step, I'm going to put a little bit of this beautiful gold shadow on my lid.
00:44Next we have the crease, and I really love this color because it's kind of like a toasted
00:48burnt orange.
00:53So normally when I do a neutral eye, I finish with a little liner on the top, but a look
00:57that we're seeing a lot of lately is under eye makeup.
01:02And I'm just going to blend it out.
01:08So there you have it, a neutral eye, super easy and super quick.
01:12It goes to show you neutral isn't always boring.
01:14Hi, I'm Val, and today I'm going to show you how to get an awesome neutral eye shadow
01:18look using this Bare Minerals Bare Sensuals palette.
01:21I'm going to go on ahead and take these off.
01:23I'm going to get started with using Shazam, and taking it all the way up to the brow bone.
01:34Then, we can move on to our slightly darker shade in Cloud Nine.
01:39And I'm blending it mostly on the outside corner so the insides look a little bit bigger and
01:43I look brighter and more awake.
01:50And then finally, we're going to go over just the lid part with Persuasion.
01:59I'm just going to blend it.
02:01So I'm mostly stuck with sort of the pinky neutrals, but that doesn't mean you can't
02:06explore the rest of the palette as well to make a look that is all your own.
02:10So the look that I'll be doing today is using this Smashbox Shape Matters.
02:14So it's all about some nice matte neutral tone eyes.
02:18I'm going to start using the lightest shadow.
02:21This color is perfect for just really setting your base.
02:24Next up, I'm going to add in my second base color, which is this nice tan.
02:31To amp up my look and really get in the fall spirit, I'm going to use this toasted brown
02:34orange color.
02:39All right, for a little added touch, I'm going to go in with these two darkish brown colors.
02:44This is just going to define my eyes a little more.
02:46My favorite part about this palette is all the colors are nice and matte, so they feel
02:51really natural.
02:52So we're not adding any sparkle or any extra texture.
02:54We're just going for some nice soft brown colors.
02:57And to top off my look, I'm going to add in some mascara.
