00:01It's time to play the game.
00:07Time to play the game.
00:22It's all about the game.
00:25The following contest, scheduled for one fall,
00:28it's for the World Heavyweight Championship.
00:31Introducing first, The Challenger, accompanied by nature boy, Rick Blair.
00:39From Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing 272 pounds, Ripple Eats.
00:48Well there, this awesome Survivor Series is ending tonight with Raw for
00:54the World Heavyweight Championship.
00:56Triple H is a seven time champion.
00:59The man who put the $100,000 bounty on Goldberg's head.
01:03He's a challenger, he's confident, we saw that earlier tonight.
01:07But here's something I wanna remember, Triple H has never won in five tries at Survivor Series.
01:42It's all about the game.
01:44It's all about the game.
01:46And if you can take it, it's all about your death.
01:49And if you can take it, it's all about the pain.
01:52Who's gonna make the time?
01:54You know, I found it out running from 94 to 99 at the Survivor Series.
01:59The championship changed hands.
02:08And we start another streak tonight.
02:13From Atlanta, Georgia, weighing 280 pounds,
02:19the World Heavyweight Champion, Goldberg.
02:29Goldberg less than one month from having his ankle shattered.
02:35Goldberg had better try to end this fairly.
02:41He better try to end it early.
02:44Goldberg knows for his short, physically intense matches throughout his career.
02:50The longer this match goes for Triple H's skill and Goldberg's shattered ankle king.
02:58Oh, here we go.
02:58Here we go, he's right.
03:00The cover's gonna be on Goldberg.
03:02And this is the end of the game.
03:03It's gonna get started early.
03:05A lot of swabs, a slob-knocker with Goldberg and Ric Flair.
03:10What the hell is Flair doing in the world?
03:12I mean, let's face it.
03:14There's a spear.
03:15There's a spear.
03:16It could be over here.
03:17Look at Flair.
03:18He's gonna get him some.
03:20I don't know, did the bell ring?
03:22I don't think the match has even started.
03:23That's why this is not legal.
03:25This can happen.
03:26Goldberg nailing Nature Boy Ric Flair.
03:29This match must not have started.
03:30Flair up and over, high back body drop.
03:33The world's heavyweight title on the line here.
03:35And there goes the dirtiest player in the game.
03:38And there's the bell.
03:39And now we're officially underway.
03:41I can't believe the referee just waited there, cool, calm, and collected,
03:46waiting for Nate to get his butt kicked before he rang the bell.
03:49Look at that tower Goldberg.
03:51Setting up that base on one leg, able to reverse Triple H with all that velocity.
03:59Goldberg is just trying to take your advice, JR.
04:01He's trying to end this thing.
04:04It looks like a war zone out there, like a bloody mess.
04:07All that blood Mr. McMahon lost earlier in that wind.
04:11Thanks to Kane, that bearded line match.
04:13My God, Shawn Michaels.
04:15It has been a real scene here tonight.
04:18And the power of Goldberg.
04:20The spear versus a pedigree.
04:22And we've already seen one spear.
04:24Nothing to say, we won't see another.
04:28I'm gonna tell you something, it's Goldberg.
04:30He is intense tonight.
04:32I gotta admit, I'm a little bit surprised.
04:36I thought that that leg was gonna give me more of a problem.
04:39But he looks, he looks thick, he looks 100%.
04:42Well, I'll tell you what, Tripp, the, Goldberg is, this is not out of fire yet.
04:50Well, I know that.
04:51Triple H had a lot of confidence early.
04:52They're already counting their victories here.
04:55Randy Orton came through.
04:56Well, Triple H come through.
04:58We're talking about their confidence earlier.
05:00And Goldberg using his power.
05:02He's gotta stay vertical, does Goldberg.
05:04And end it early.
05:05I'm just hoping that Triple H didn't drink too much champagne back there with all
05:09those lovely ladies.
05:12Goldberg in his unrefined smash mouth style.
05:16And look at the power here.
05:18Goldberg military pressing the challenger.
05:21The seven time champion.
05:23Look at that, look at.
05:24It's leg game weight, JR.
05:25Goldberg's leg, that right leg gave way on him.
05:28You're right, King.
05:29And Goldberg's somehow gotta try to block the pain out of his mind.
05:33That's a lot easier now, the cerebral assassin.
05:37Triple H from that chop block down to that in Triple H.
05:40Look at Nate up there.
05:41He's threatening to get back in the ring himself.
05:45It's just like Nate, he'll kick a guy when he's down.
05:51He's gonna take advantage here, he likes to do it himself.
06:00Claire just kind of directed traffic out there.
06:04The injured ankle we knew would be the focus of Goldberg.
06:07Claire is making up.
06:10All right.
06:11Miss McMahon got his ankle shattered earlier.
06:13And now Claire's got the referee.
06:15Wow, that's it.
06:17You talk about going downtown.
06:20The game just went downtown with that steel chair.
06:24Steel on steel with gold in the middle.
06:27On that shattered ankle of Goldberg.
06:29In the end now, maybe a four goal conclusion.
06:32It may be simply academic.
06:35But this match is going to see a new world heavyweight champion crown.
06:40I don't know what anybody expected.
06:42What did you expect, JR?
06:43What did Goldberg expect?
06:44I mean, they don't call him a cerebral assassin.
06:47Not Flair, not Flair.
06:48Not Flair, not Flair.
06:49Flair with a gold.
06:49The entire advantage by Flair.
06:52Infecting more pain, more damage.
06:57Goldberg had a big red bullseye finger on that leg of his.
07:01He has said that Goldberg's got the guts of a gladiator, but
07:06the human anatomy can only withstand so much pain, so much suffering before it collapses.
07:14Never should have agreed to this match.
07:16It wasn't well yet.
07:17Another chop block by the cerebral assassin who won't make too many more mistakes.
07:22I'll guarantee you, Shane McMahon has been hospitalized tonight.
07:26Goldberg may be joining him.
07:28Shane McMahon, last we heard, getting a CAT scan for what we expect will be.
07:34Hopefully not, but the concussion may be the least of our worries.
07:38And now look at the game, dropping that elbow.
07:41Well placed, not on the arm, not on the shoulder, on the ankle of that lower leg.
07:46And look at Nate's work over Goldberg.
07:50Goldberg's drive to survive may be derailed here tonight by the combination of Evolution.
07:57Evolution has already made their presence felt.
07:59And look at this.
08:02An ankle breaker by Triple H.
08:04You should have advised Goldberg not to do this, JR.
08:06You knew he wasn't well enough.
08:08Goldberg isn't listed for Goldberg.
08:11I think even the Atlanta Falcons still listed Goldberg on the edge of this.
08:16That's how bad his leg is.
08:17He is a warrior, there's no doubt about it.
08:21The heart of a true champion, but taking this match, accepting this match,
08:26still advised, no doubt about it.
08:28Cuz I don't even think a man like Goldberg, and I've never seen too many lucky men
08:33in my life, can withstand the game tonight.
08:35But maybe I'm wrong.
08:37Maybe Goldberg can somehow, some way retain the title.
08:44Well, I wouldn't bet on him right now.
08:47Right hand by Goldberg.
08:49And Triple H comes back, the right Goldberg fighting back.
08:52The ropes are holding Goldberg up, but it's hard as keeping him in the game.
08:56A right hand by Goldberg.
08:57And the game goes downstairs again right to that ankle.
09:02Viciously, aggressively, in a vile, uncaring way.
09:05Might as well face it, JR.
09:07Goldberg doesn't have a leg to stand on in his neck.
09:12Triple H is tougher than a Waffle House steak.
09:14We've said that on many occasions.
09:16Look, look, look, look, look.
09:18Look out.
09:19And Claire Crofton driving his knee right into the injured leg of Goldberg.
09:24And Goldberg is, and he is being decimated, physically dissected by Evolution here tonight.
09:31Led by their leader, what looks to be the future World Heavyweight Champion, Triple H.
09:38Well, I agreed with you early on that Goldberg could have ended this match early.
09:43He had a chance.
09:44But it's already gone too long now, JR.
09:47Triple H is doing exactly what many thought he would, Matt Russell Goldberg.
09:52And again, the referee's gotta really do some thinking about stepping in and stopping this match.
10:01Well, I think Triple H will stop the match for him.
10:05Half-grab, so putting a torque on that ankle is Triple H.
10:09Triple H, Triple H, Earl Heavyweight.
10:12He's out of bounds here, ref.
10:14I think he's under the ring.
10:16At least my angle he was.
10:17Maybe I'm wrong.
10:19I think Goldberg's in so much pain he doesn't realize that the rope is right in front of his face.
10:25He needs to grab that rope.
10:27Goldberg's leg almost limp from all the pain.
10:31Remember what Batista did to that leg just a little over a month ago.
10:36You know what's happening here?
10:37You know what we're seeing?
10:38I think Triple H could probably end this just about any time he wanted.
10:43Well, maybe not.
10:44Goldberg with a rush of adrenaline.
10:47All you're gonna do is prolong your agony there, Goldberg.
10:50Now Triple H is gonna really drag it out.
10:52He's gonna really punish you.
10:53Well, at least Goldberg bought himself a little bit of time, if nothing else.
10:56And Flair encouraging the game to get back in and win the world's heavyweight title for Evolution.
11:02And the game again, focusing on that damaged limb.
11:07Look at this.
11:07And that is a repulsive angle.
11:10And that was being turned.
11:12Goldberg trying to withstand the pain.
11:15Trying to block it out.
11:16Trying to retain his title.
11:19In the right hand, he's dancing with what Brunging King.
11:24Goldberg.
11:24And that is power.
11:25That's right, Goldberg's hammering away at Triple H now.
11:28No!
11:29A clothesline by Goldberg on one leg, and down goes the number one challenger.
11:35Rip Flair perspired through his shirt.
11:39He's riding on this for Evolution.
11:44They need that World Championship.
11:46Well, maybe, just maybe, Evolution celebrated a little too early.
11:50And Goldberg trying to go for it.
11:53There you go.
11:54Did you see the way his body twisted?
11:56That Goldberg's hurt now.
11:57That's sick.
11:58It doesn't get any bigger.
11:59It doesn't get any better than the World Heavyweight Championship, JR.
12:02And that's what this is all about.
12:06This is for Nate!
12:07Get out of the way!
12:09Get out of the way!
12:11And Goldberg, shoving the game right into the referee.
12:16Yeah, but you can see the game didn't try, he did his best to protect the referee.
12:19Wait a minute.
12:20Triple H sitting for something.
12:22And there it is.
12:24There it is.
12:24Triple H, the Brass Knucks.
12:26The Brass Knucks!
12:27No, I have the Brass Knucks in his pocket.
12:30This one is over.
12:31Triple H is getting rid of the evidence.
12:34But this one is over.
12:36Get out of the way!
12:38Get out of the way!
12:38Get out of the way!
12:40There's no damn way!
12:42I can't believe!
12:44Go!
12:45Go!
12:46Go!
12:47You gotta be kidding me.
12:48Come on, that had to be a three count.
12:50You talk about a long three count.
12:52Everybody deserves.
12:54Triple H just broke his elbow in the back of the referee's head.
12:58And now Triple H can do pretty much whatever the hell he wants to do with Goldberg.
13:03I think the referee bet on Goldberg for something.
13:05My God.
13:05My God.
13:06My God.
13:07It's the sledgehammer.
13:09Triple H has got the sledgehammer.
13:11No!
13:12And Goldberg met Triple H coming in.
13:15Get the sledgehammer if you wanna survive.
13:18Get it, Triple H.
13:19Get it, Nate.
13:22No, no, no, no, no, no!
13:25Come off the top.
13:27It hasn't worked in 30 years.
13:30And Goldberg with a close line, knocking down the top.
13:34Goldberg fighting for his life and his title on one leg.
13:40Come on, Rip.
13:41Look at Goldberg.
13:43He's got a sledgehammer.
13:44My God.
13:44Goldberg with a sledgehammer.
13:46Now Goldberg's got the sledgehammer.
13:49Break up, Rip.
13:51Downstairs on Flair with a sledgehammer.
13:55That'll bust up Flair's insides.
13:57And look at Triple H begging for mercy.
14:00And there's a legend killer.
14:01It's Batista.
14:04Here comes the legend killer.
14:07The evolution is out here.
14:09Batista don't get the sledgehammer.
14:12But the game, the game now trying to capitalize here.
14:17Goldberg has lost the sledgehammer.
14:19Here we go.
14:20Here comes the pedigree.
14:22The pedigree.
14:24Somehow Goldberg blocked it.
14:25What the hell?
14:27Goldberg blocked the pedigree.
14:30Look at the carnage here for the heavyweight championship of the world.
14:35I can't believe my eyes.
14:36Goldberg has laid out all of that pollution.
14:38They're scattered around the ring.
14:40Goldberg, what's he thinking?
14:42Look at that sledgehammer.
14:45Goldberg just threw the sledgehammer out of the ring.
14:48Look at that spear.
14:51The second spear.
14:54Get up Batista.
14:56The world's champion almost broke the game in half.
14:59Get up Nate.
15:00Get up Orton.
15:02Evolution has been decimated by Goldberg.
15:06He hits the spear.
15:08He hits the spear.
15:08And now, the jackhammer.
15:11The jackhammer.
15:14He's got to a pin with the jackhammer.
15:19And the referee turns.
15:21No.
15:22Got it.
15:23What?
15:24My God, I don't believe it.
15:27I don't believe it either.
15:28And still, world heavyweight champion, Goldberg.
15:34Good God almighty, who's your daddy tonight?
15:37I really don't believe it.
15:40Goldberg using triple X is on sledgehammer while the referee was down.
15:46And literally destroyed evolution with their own weapon.
15:52Goldberg has retained the world's heavyweight championship.
16:00My God King, he did this on one leg.
16:04Think of what he could do on two.
16:06I think I do believe the hype.
16:10Goldberg has survived.
16:12Well folks, if you don't believe the hype, you better start.
