03:51at the same time
03:52in a triple threat
03:53I'm trying to find out
03:54the game
03:55playing the top

04:20for you
04:24well ladies and gentlemen
04:26you were given
04:27the opportunity
04:27to vote
04:28on who Triple H
04:29would face tonight
04:30for the WWE Championship
04:33and your choices were
04:39Jeff Hardy
04:43Vladimir Kozlov
04:46or both men
04:48in a triple threat match
04:55the votes are in
04:57let's find out
04:58what we're about
04:59to see
05:03Jeff Hardy
05:0757%
05:10and the game
05:12has somewhat
05:13predicted that
05:14in my estimation
05:15in the weeks
05:16leading into
05:16Cyber Sunday
05:42it's gonna be
05:42great match here
05:43Hardy
05:44Triple H
05:45the extreme enigma
05:46the game
05:48I'm feeling it baby
05:51this is
05:52ladies and gentlemen
05:52I match that
05:54it's only a
05:54saga for Jeff Hardy
05:56he's found
05:59Jeff Hardy
06:01Jeff Hardy
06:02had the opportunity
06:03a month ago
06:04with no mercy
06:05to become
06:05WWE Champion
06:07that didn't happen
06:08that didn't happen
06:09by one second
06:10if I remember correctly
06:11correct
06:12you are correct
06:13not often you get a second
06:15or even a third chance
06:17at the WWE Championship
06:19I'll tell you what
06:21credit to Triple H
06:22he's not gonna
06:23he's not gonna knock
06:24the finish title
06:25against anybody
06:25no matter who
06:26votes on it
06:27that's a fighting champion
06:29right there
06:29but a very credible
06:30challenger
06:31in the ring
06:32with the champ
06:32in the long history
06:34the WWE
06:34the WWE title
06:35has never changed hands
06:37in the sporting city
06:39of Phoenix, Arizona
06:40in a city that's had
06:42Super Bowls
06:43and Final Fours
06:44and Fiesta Bowls
06:45and World Series
06:46the WWE title
06:48has never changed hands
06:49could that be an omen
06:50I don't know
06:51I'm getting rematched
06:52from no mercy
06:53for that beautiful title
06:54that WWE Championship
06:56baby
07:10well will the
07:11third time be the charm
07:13because Jeff Hardy
07:14also competed
07:15in the WWE Championship
07:17scramble
07:17and you know
07:18you know it's Triple H
07:19I mean the master strategist
07:20with the mind games
07:21with the poise
07:23not even acting
07:24like he's surprised
07:24not even acting
07:25like he's faced
07:26is Triple H
07:27who knows what goes on
07:28in the brain
07:29of the cerebral assassin
07:30I don't know
07:32I'm not going to assume
07:33that I do
07:33but I know that in his heart
07:35and in his soul
07:36it's not just
07:37another day at the office
07:38either
07:38this is all about
07:40the WWE title
07:42and all the greats
07:43and all the greats
07:43that preceded the game
07:45and wearing the WWE Championship
07:49I think the Triple H
07:50has taken a little bit
07:51out of every successful
07:53WWE Champion
07:54look at this
07:56he's reminding Jeff
07:57his Triple H
07:58he was one second away
08:00and you know
08:00we've seen that
08:01in weeks past
08:02how Triple H
08:02has been getting
08:03in the head
08:04verbally
08:04of Jeff Hardy
08:05saying
08:06you always come
08:07so close Jeff
08:08but you never
08:09could pull that trigger
08:10well I'm not sure
08:10what voices
08:11Jeff Hardy does here
08:12but frankly
08:13Triple H is his own
08:14or somebody else's
08:15it's really irrelevant
08:16here tonight
08:16Jeff Hardy's looking
08:17for a three count
08:18or a submission
08:19I know that for a fact
08:21to win this match
08:22well there's no doubt
08:23excellent drop
08:24toehold
08:24by the WWE Champion
08:26there out of nowhere
08:27tell you what
08:28look Jeff Hardy
08:29no secret
08:29Jeff lives life
08:30to the fullest
08:32Jeff's wide open
08:33man
08:33he's an offbeat guy
08:34very energetic
08:35reckless individual
08:36tough to prepare for
08:39we've seen
08:40Hardy try to
08:41man wrestle the game
08:42we saw that
08:43at no mercy
08:44we've seen Jeff Hardy
08:45take every chance
08:46every risk
08:47in the book
08:48we've seen that
08:48in numerous
08:49tables, ladders
08:50and chairs
08:51matches
08:51which Jeff Hardy
08:52are we going to see
08:53tonight
08:55in my opinion
08:56if you're Jeff Hardy
08:57you don't want to try
08:58and compare power
08:59with Triple H
09:00but that was impressive
09:01nice leverage
09:03but the game counter
09:04quickly
09:05and a deep
09:06and a steamboat
09:08like a deep
09:08iron drag takeover
09:09and the young
09:11North Carolinian
09:12getting the bigger
09:13stronger man
09:13off the vertical base
09:14you know a big size
09:15difference
09:16Triple H
09:17obviously the bigger
09:17competitive
09:18but so deep
09:19was Hardy
09:19on that arm drag
09:20but how big
09:21you're going to get
09:21taken over your feet
09:23oh
09:24uh oh
09:24what
09:25Hardy looking
09:26to
09:27oh
09:27maybe
09:28into the house
09:28and the game
09:30looking for his pedigree
09:32whoo
09:32tell you what
09:33the champs
09:34sending the message
09:35there
09:35quick
09:36twisting the fate
09:37checking the pedigree
09:40well Hardy
09:41well Hardy
09:42you know
09:42attempting to go
09:42for the twist of fate
09:44Triple H
09:46saying yeah
09:46you want to do that
09:46watch this quick reversal
09:47boom
09:48almost lights out
09:49for Jeff Hardy
09:50and let's not forget
09:51that two days ago
09:52the game was in the ring
09:54with The Undertaker
09:55on Friday Night Smackdown
09:57two days
09:58that's a great point
09:5948 hours to heal up
10:01from that encounter
10:01and it was a physical encounter
10:03and oh
10:04quickness
10:06Jeff Hardy
10:07did not compete
10:08on Friday Night Smackdown
10:10but unfortunately
10:11perhaps we'll see
10:12for the game
10:13he did
10:13in the biggest of ways
10:15you've got to realize something
10:16if you're the challenger
10:17here Jeff Hardy
10:18you know
10:18you know there's a chance
10:19the WWE Universe
10:20is going to vote for you
10:21you know there's a chance
10:22of that
10:22Triple H has to prepare
10:23for one, two
10:24or maybe three competitors
10:25at once
10:26folks tougher
10:27for the champion
10:28in these matches
10:30here at Cyber Sunday
10:34and the fans here
10:35giving Jeff Hardy
10:38some significant support
10:42Hardy in that
10:43does that green belt
10:45mean money
10:45tonight
10:46I don't know
10:47time will tell
10:48that back elbow
10:49was money
10:50it stopped the game
10:51in his tracks
10:51wait a minute
10:52and Hardy
10:54up on that top turnbuckle
10:56with his back
10:57to his opponent
10:58again the recklessness
11:00of Jeff Hardy
11:01turning his back
11:02to the opponent
11:02going for something
11:03crazy I'm sure
11:04the game one step
11:05ahead of him
11:06JR
11:06one has never taught
11:07to turn his back
11:08on their opponent
11:09and secondly
11:10in the top turnbuckle
11:12look at this
11:13yeah right here
11:13I mean
11:14Jeff Hardy
11:14I'm sure
11:15had something
11:16devious in mind
11:17here's another angle
11:18of it
11:18watch Jeff
11:19saw him
11:19that's a nasty
11:20impact
11:21right here
11:21in the desert
11:22and the game
11:23can retain
11:24his championship
11:25via count out
11:26or disqualification
11:28for that matter
11:29for Hardy
11:30and Jeopardy
11:30now
11:31of being counted out
11:32after the
11:33Hardy-like
11:34crash and burn
11:39Triple H
11:40doing something
11:40unconventional
11:41here
11:41not going
11:42after his opponent
11:43I think
11:43I like that
11:44wait
11:45pick your spot
11:45let him get back
11:47to the ring
11:47the game
11:48knows
11:48Jeff Hardy's
11:49got to be hurting
11:50after that high
11:50miss
11:51uh oh
11:51uh oh
11:52and Hardy
11:53locked that turnbuckle
11:55so much
11:55that the game
11:56sent him back
11:57to it
11:57this time
11:58to the ring post
12:00and the ring post
12:01stops anyone
12:02right in their tracks
12:03well you know what
12:04and especially
12:05on the second time
12:07and now the role
12:08there we go
12:08the cradle
12:10from where I sit
12:11there's a reason
12:11why Triple H
12:12is the measuring
12:13stick in the WWE
12:14his intelligence
12:15he's clever
12:16he's crafty
12:17battle tested
12:18everything you could
12:19imagine the game
12:20gets it done
12:21he knows how to
12:21get it done baby
12:22and he proves it
12:23night in and night out
12:23no one studies
12:24the wrestling
12:26any harder
12:27any more thoroughly
12:28than Triple H
12:29he is an honor
12:30student for that matter
12:31Triple H to your point
12:33he reminds me of a
12:33throwback of an elite
12:34level like a modern
12:35day version of a
12:36Harley race
12:37or Nature Boy Buddy
12:38Rogers or Nature Boy
12:39Ric Flair
12:39you know a modern day
12:40version of that
12:42Hall of Famer
12:43by the way
12:43like the song
12:44oh a WWE champion
12:46has been more dominant
12:47in this era
12:48than has the game
12:50but Jeff Hardy would love
12:52to shock the world
12:54and the game quickly now
12:56seizes the moment
12:58the door is open
12:59and Hardy able to kick out
13:02let's not forget that
13:03Jeff Hardy has had
13:0416 different title reigns
13:07in his WWE career
13:09except for one
13:11and that's what Jeff Hardy
13:12is fighting for tonight
13:14I'll tell you what
13:15you never had to be
13:17in a ring
13:18as a wrestler
13:19to realize
13:20what kind of predicament
13:21Jeff Hardy's left elbow
13:22is in right now
13:23that is not good
13:24look at that
13:26it's the same principle
13:28of a cross arm breaker
13:29trying to hyper extend
13:30the elbow
13:31and the game using
13:32his right knee
13:33as a post
13:34Hardy's got to enhance
13:36reduce the pressure
13:38well you can get
13:39to a vertical base
13:39correct
13:40you can reduce
13:40you will reduce
13:41that pressure
13:42and Hardy
13:42swatting up
13:43the fight back
13:44quick
13:47Jeff Hardy's
13:48either got to
13:48quicken the pace
13:49or wait for the game
13:51to make a mistake
13:51oh wow
13:53oh
13:53and man
13:54Lariat lock
13:55wrap around clothesline
13:56by Jeff Hardy
13:57showing his elusiveness
14:00and the game zone
14:01momentum
14:02helping take
14:02the WWE champion
14:04down
14:04usually when athletes
14:05through that
14:05high lariat clothesline
14:07flying
14:07they hit you around
14:08the throat
14:08Hardy just caught
14:09the game around
14:10the mouth
14:15the free spirit
14:17himself
14:17Jeff Hardy
14:18oh let him build
14:20momentum trips
14:21and the
14:22the roll up by Hardy
14:25had a good hook
14:26for the leg
14:26but Triple H
14:28still too strong
14:29at this point
14:30in the match
14:30and that's the
14:32conditioning
14:32of the WWE champion
14:33but you can feel
14:35the pace
14:36beginning to
14:36quicken
14:37the fist
14:38uh oh
14:40watch out here
14:42and that might be
14:43to Hardy's advance
14:44oh man
14:45oh
14:46that face buster
14:48suplex
14:48Hardy
14:49with a half
14:50Nelson
14:50looking for the
14:53came so close
14:55to Jeff Hardy
14:56so close
14:59simply put
15:01is it in Jeff Hardy's
15:02destiny
15:03to be the WWE champion
15:06that's what this match
15:08made
15:08that question
15:09that this match
15:10may answer
15:10well Jeff Hardy
15:12very unpredictable
15:13competitor
15:14he'll hit you
15:15from every angle
15:15of that ring
15:16explosive also
15:17uh oh
15:18yeah
15:19power
15:20spine buster
15:23the game
15:24using his power
15:25for the counter
15:26slow to the counter
15:27and get it
15:28and get it
15:29and look at this
15:30Hardy
15:33amazing resiliency
15:34short
15:34straight up
15:35power
15:36this is what makes
15:37you right here
15:38this is what makes
15:39you a top dog
15:39in the WWE
15:40when you can stop
15:42you know
15:42the challenge is
15:43momentum
15:44right in his tracks
15:45and that's what we just
15:46witnessed here
15:47tribulation no doubt
15:48it's scattered
15:49that move
15:49and again
15:50that one as well
15:52back to that orbit
15:55crossface
15:56the crossface
15:57a submission maneuver
15:58Jeff is in deep
16:00dire straits
16:01two big offensive maneuvers
16:02that the game
16:03had scouted
16:04and countered
16:05and now Jeff Hardy
16:07in a precarious position
16:09Jeff has got to try
16:11to get to that bottom rope
16:12if he can
16:13but he's not going to
16:14just escape this hole
16:16Hardy gets to the bottom rope
16:18are his chances
16:19to become WWE champion
16:21are erased
16:22oh so close
16:24and the game
16:26pulling Hardy
16:26away from the ropes
16:28and that is nothing
16:30but strategy
16:30again
16:31the craftiness
16:33how clever
16:34is the WWE champion
16:38the game
16:39has the left arm
16:41secured
16:42the head pulled back
16:43is Hardy going unconscious
16:45is Hardy going to pass out
16:47but the risk
16:48on armstrong
16:49worked on a check
16:50Triple H
16:51hanging off
16:52at dear life
16:52the game
16:54torquing
16:54the lower body
16:56of Hardy back
16:57is Hardy
16:58seeing his dreams
16:59to become WWE champion
17:01turning into a nightmare
17:04Jeff Hardy
17:04missed a high risk
17:05maneuver
17:07big part of Hardy's
17:08ingredients for success
17:09that he executes moves
17:11like he's not
17:11like he hits it for the last
17:12time ever
17:13but it gets one bit of where
17:14it hurts man
17:19whoa whoa whoa
17:20Hardy countered the game
17:24beautiful cradle
17:25and I think that surprised
17:26Triple H
17:27Hardy able to counter Triple H's
17:29crossface into a pinning
17:31predicament
17:32and now look at Hardy pay the price
17:35able to just do a quick cradle
17:37almost like a Grammy roll
17:38by Jeff Hardy
17:40very impressive
17:42and again walking around
17:44like I can't believe
17:44that I
17:45I got found myself
17:46in that counter
17:47yeah well look at Hardy
17:48Hardy can't capitalize on anything
17:50who knows the condition
17:51of the man's arm
17:52uh-oh uh-oh
17:53uh-oh
17:55and I think Jeff Hardy had
17:57Triple H's game plan
17:58scouting at that moment
18:00as well
18:00Hardy able to turn the momentum
18:02and use the game's own momentum
18:04to Hardy's advantage
18:07and now what's Hardy think
18:09five risks
18:09I'm sure
18:10watch what that was
18:11oh my god
18:13the game caught between
18:15Hardy's flying body
18:17in the security wall.
18:19Both men are down, both men perhaps are out.
18:23Get up, get up, get up, fire.
18:27Jeff Hardy crashing, burning right into the champion.
18:30Again, executing every move like it's his last.
18:33Look at this reversal, this right here,
18:36changed the momentum, changed the fate possibly
18:39for the challenger, look at that.
18:41Talk about failure, a leap of bait for Jeff Hardy.
18:45His body flying through the air, almost in suspended animation,
18:49but Hardy needs the game to be in the ring.
18:52Well, he's asking, he shall receive.
18:54Who knows the condition of Triple H here?
18:58And now again, Hardy going to the top of the goalie, this time nails it.
19:03Jeff Hardy with the whisper in the wind, got a piece no doubt of the game.
19:10More of it, two of them, two in a row.
19:15The hook of the line, we can have.
19:17The new champion.
19:18On the game, straining with everything he had left to get a shoulder.
19:25Specifically, the left shoulder, inches off the canvas before the three count.
19:31Again, very close.
19:33Jeff Hardy almost became new WWE Champion.
19:37Triple H is hurting big time.
19:40Uh-oh, uh-oh.
19:42Hardy's here too, whispers in the wind, the security wall, the ring steps.
19:47That was the very move Triple H saw earlier, wait a minute.
19:49And now the cover, the count, and look.
19:53Triple H counted that new kick-like move earlier, but not this time.
19:57The game has gotta regroup or he will be a former WWE Champion.
20:02Hardy has momentum.
20:06Hardy picking his spot.
20:08I think we know what's coming here.
20:12Watch out.
20:15Hardy, oof, looking to twist his way into the WWE title.
20:20What a counter.
20:22Hardy counters, Hardy counters, Hardy counters.
20:25Man, how close.
20:26Man, that was close.
20:28So close.
20:29An amazing counter.
20:31The second great wrestling counter in this match by Jeff Hardy.
20:34The first coming from the Crossface.
20:39Triple H now, trying to slow down Hardy.
20:43Hardy escaped from the sleeper quickly.
20:47And, twist the bench.
20:49He did it.
20:50Twist the bench, got it.
20:51Finally, Hardy wins, he's got it.
20:53Hardy, twist.
20:54Oh, man.
20:58My God, how close was that?
21:00Third time's a jump, but Hardy wasn't able to get the victory.
21:03But here we go, baby.
21:05You have Hardy.
21:06He's sowning it.
21:08Can you say swan time?
21:10Boom.
21:10That's Hardy hits it.
21:12Square in the bullseye.
21:15I can't believe this.
21:17Hardy surprisingly didn't go for the cover.
21:21My God, Hardy's gonna-
21:23Make sure.
21:24Wait a minute.
21:25No!
21:26This time, though, the game.
21:28The Cerebral Assassin brought his knees up.
21:32And Hardy's lower back and spine were victimized.
21:37Well, JR, I think Hardy was convinced that one sent time was not enough.
21:41So he went for the second one, and he paid right here.
21:44Paid in a big way.
21:45Look at that.
21:46Again, a two-set Cerebral Assassin one step ahead of the challenger.
21:50That was an amazing counter.
21:52How elementary, how simplistic in look and in form, but how effective.
21:58The knees brought up, driven into the lower back and the kidneys.
22:02Always focused is the WWE Champion.
22:05But the biggest thing is the game body's time.
22:08Yeah!
22:09Watch out!
22:09Time for a pedigree.
22:12And Hardy counters.
22:13Oh, what a match.
22:15What a hellacious match for the WWE title.
22:20Hardy over.
22:22Hardy airborne.
22:24And a motivated, seemingly almost enraged, Jeff Hardy having an out-of-body experience.
22:32I've never seen Hardy act like that, get that intense.
22:36When he's trying to get a victory in a matchup.
22:39I gotta believe Hardy.
22:40Uh-oh.
22:41The third time in the last minute going to the top.
22:45Man, you gotta be kidding me here.
22:48No, no.
22:49No, no.
22:51A super-sized pedigree.
22:53A prolific pedigree from the top ropes.
22:58That's gotta be it.
23:00My God.
23:01Wow.
23:05And still, the WWE Champion.
23:10Triple E!
23:13Once again, Jeff Hardy almost becomes WWE Champion by just that much.
23:19Just missed it.
23:20Wow.
23:21What a matchup.
23:22I'm not so sure if you go back and count them up.
23:24That Jeff Hardy didn't have more near falls in this match than did the WWE Champion.
23:30They'll doubt you right.
23:31But the bottom line is who got the fall.
23:34And the man you're looking at, Triple H, is the man that got the fall.
23:39Retains the coveted WWE title.
23:42In the spirit of the men you named earlier.
23:45The Rodgers.
23:47I'll tell you what, Jeff Hardy, Jeff keeps getting closer and closer and closer to gaining
23:52the WWE Championship.
23:53Maybe one day.
23:55But right here, this is where Hardy hits the center.
23:57And what if Hardy had gone for the count?
24:00We'll never know.
24:02What if, what if don't matter?
24:05The bottom line is the game was savvy enough to block that one.
24:09But again, Jeff Hardy just throwing caution to the wind, taking chances all over the place.
24:14And it's the third time here.
24:15Hardy throwing his body all over the ring, inside, outside.
24:19And this time, the game, one step ahead of Hardy.
24:22One step, one move, and move!
24:26One pedigree, and one three count.
24:32What a matchup.
24:33Hey, I wanna say something.
24:34Thank you, WWE Universe.
24:36Vote for that match.
24:39That was awesome.
24:41The proud, the talented, the tough WWE Champion.
24:47A first ballot Hall of Famer just had a Hall of Fame level match with that man, Jeff Hardy.
24:54And can we answer the question?
24:56Is the WWE title still a Jeff Hardy's future in his destiny?
25:01I'm saying yes.
25:03There's too many near falls.
25:04And I think the game knows it.
25:06But tonight, the game was the better man.
25:27Jeff, Jeff, just that close, Jeff, just that close.
