00:01Well, ladies and gentlemen, we are just moments away from the WWE
00:05Undisputed Championship matchup.
00:06There you see the title, the richest prize in the business.
00:10The Undisputed title hanging high above the ring.
00:13And King, there's only one way to get it.
00:15And The Undertaker has promised that Jeff Hardy's gonna be a crossword wrestler.
00:18He'll come into the ring vertical and leave horizontal.
00:25Hey, Jeff, I'm a fool man, you're dressed.
00:28Hey, look, dude, I wanna come in here.
00:30Wish you good luck.
00:31It was nice, the biggest night of your career.
00:32And I actually have someone outside who would like to wish you good luck as well.
00:36That's cool.
00:39Hey!
00:40That's Lena!
00:42Hey.
00:43Lena!
00:43Hey, you know I could lose this big night for you.
00:45Plus, I get to ride back with the new WWE Champion.
00:48Jeff, you go out there and do what you do best.
00:50We know that you can do it, man.
00:51There's only one way to find out.
00:53I'll see you afterwards.
01:04Jeff Hardy is ready.
01:07He's ready for the match of his life.
01:09A career-defining match.
01:12And we're gonna see it live.
01:14It better be the match of his life, they are.
01:17It may literally be the match of his life.
01:22The moment contest is a ladder match.
01:25And this is for the WWE Undisputed Championship.
01:29Introducing first, William Kane, 328th round.
01:32He is the WWE Undisputed Champion, The Undertaker.
01:38It'll be the damnedest train wreck in history.
01:40Or the biggest upset in history, whatever.
01:43We'll see you live next.
01:47We are live, ladies and gentlemen, here on Raw,
01:49ready for the most, one of the most unorthodox.
01:51And without a doubt, one of the most aggressively booked,
01:56undisputed title matches in WWE history.
01:59A ladder match for the Undisputed Championship.
02:03And there you see the title hanging high above the ring.
02:06King was only one way to get there.
02:08And that's by the use of the ladder.
02:10Well, this match was Jeff Hardy's idea and rightfully so.
02:13He's used to these type of matches.
02:15This is the first one ever for The Undertaker.
02:17The challenger from Cameron, North Carolina.
02:20Weighing in at 218 pounds, Jeff Hardy.
02:24In this matchup, there will be no pinfalls.
02:27There will be no submissions.
02:29There are no disqualifications nor no count outs.
02:33Only one way to win.
02:35And that's by climbing the ladder and securing the undisputed championship belt
02:40that hangs high above the center of the ring.
02:44There is no doubt that Jeff Hardy is extreme.
02:48He is very extreme.
02:50He didn't have to be.
02:51Wait a minute.
02:52Don't be that extreme now, Jeff.
02:54Don't make a stupid.
02:56What is he doing, JR?
02:59It's obvious to me that Jeff Hardy's trying to get in The Undertaker's head.
03:04And I think he has.
03:06And Jeff Hardy.
03:08Kicking that ladder right back in the face of the undisputed champion.
03:12Jeff Hardy lured The Undertaker to the outside.
03:14Look at this.
03:14Catching the crossbody over the top.
03:17And the extreme Jeff Hardy.
03:18He's a risk taker.
03:20He's a daredevil.
03:21And he knows he cannot be disqualified.
03:23Whoa.
03:24Hit right between the eyes with a solid shot, with a steel chair.
03:29Jeff Hardy's been thinking about this match all week.
03:32Obviously, he is ready for this.
03:33And just remember, he does not have to pin The Undertaker to become the undisputed champion.
03:40Look out.
03:41Jeff Hardy.
03:42Oh, out maneuvering The Undertaker that ladder.
03:45Again, Jeff Hardy a veteran of those historic TLC matches and ladder matches.
03:50The Undertaker knocking down Jeff Hardy has never been in a ladder match in his long,
03:55successful, illustrious career here in the WWE.
03:58He's in one now and it can turn out to be the match of his life.
04:02Jeff Hardy giving up size and strength and power.
04:05And that may be too much to overcome in a normal match.
04:08But ladies and gentlemen, this ain't no normal match.
04:11This is a ladder match.
04:13This is a hardy extreme specialty.
04:16Yeah, but you gotta remember, JR, just think back to last week.
04:19The Undertaker literally extremely destroyed Jeff Hardy.
04:24I mean, he destroyed him.
04:26And Jeff Hardy, though, had enough guts to issue this challenge.
04:29And maybe on that night, Jeff Hardy outsmarted The Undertaker because The Undertaker has never been in this ladder match
04:36environment.
04:37And that's where we are.
04:38And The Undertaker plugging and hammering away at Jeff Hardy on the outside.
04:42Remember, you can't be disqualified.
04:44You can't be counted out.
04:46You can't, the pinfalls don't count, and there are no submissions.
04:48I know.
04:50I realize that.
04:51But I think now you're seeing the dominance of The Undertaker start to emerge here.
04:55This is probably why The Undertaker, well, quite frankly, it just sounds like he's just looking past Jeff Hardy.
05:01He's thinking about Kurt Angle.
05:02He's thinking about The Rock.
05:03He didn't even mention Jeff Hardy.
05:06The Undertaker so sadistic.
05:08He is an evil executioner as this man, and he can just beat on Jeff Hardy as long as he
05:14wants if The Undertaker chooses.
05:16I think he's about to introduce Jeff Hardy up close and personal to that ladder that he likes so much.
05:21Here we go.
05:22No, wait.
05:23The Undertaker, Jeff Hardy came unmounted and drove The Undertaker's face, his chest, his lower torso, right into that ladder.
05:32They can beat each other all they want.
05:35But the match will continue if it takes us all night long until somebody could climb that ladder.
05:40Whoa.
05:42That's great.
05:43Leg dropping the ladder on top of The Undertaker's prone carcass.
05:47Come on, Jeff.
05:48This match will continue all night until somebody can pull that undisputed title belt.
05:54I sometimes think that Jeff Hardy should have considered a career as a crash test dummy.
05:58I mean, he'll absolutely risk life and limb in these matches.
06:03As I say here in New Hampshire, live free or die.
06:06And Jeff Hardy's career could die here tonight in this matchup, or it could be me.
06:11It could be history in the making one way or the other before this was all set and done.
06:16And The Undertaker's driving that ladder right up into Jeff Hardy's face.
06:20Man, did you see that?
06:23The Undertaker's not been back in this ring since being lured out of the ring,
06:28outmaneuvered mentally, if you will, by the extreme Jeff Hardy.
06:33And now The Undertaker back in the front circle.
06:36Jeff writhing in pain here, right in front of us.
06:39The Undertaker just kicked that metal ladder right into the ribs of Jeff Hardy.
06:45It's a miracle that, well, it could have cracked a couple of them.
06:48No, look out there.
06:49Undertaker using that.
06:50I think he could fly over here.
06:52Jeff Hardy's face, his prone body just went limp on our table.
06:57And The Undertaker now setting that ladder up.
07:00And his chances, watch this again, look at that.
07:03Jeff Hardy's chances of becoming the undisputed champion are going limp right now as well.
07:08Jeff Hardy lying out in front of the table.
07:10You better get up, boy.
07:11You better get up, Jeff.
07:12It's gonna be over quickly, it's gonna be able to-
07:17Undertaker, what's he thinking?
07:19Undertaker, all he's gotta do is climb the ladder and get the,
07:21get his other student title belt and leave.
07:26He's sadistic.
07:27He hadn't inflicted enough punishment pain yet.
07:30But man, King, you know as well as I do.
07:31When you got a chance to win a match and you don't do it, well.
07:35More often than not, it could come back and bite you right in your butt.
07:37Well, you heard what The Undertaker said.
07:38He is determined that he is not gonna leave Jeff Hardy standing.
07:42Jeff Hardy is not gonna be able to walk-
07:44Oh, no!
07:46Yeah!
07:47All right!
07:48What the hell are you-
07:49You're breaking this kid in half!
07:53There's no reason for that!
07:55Come on!
07:56Jeff Hardy can't even defend himself!
07:59Yeah!
08:00Easy, J.R., he's not the man to mess with, don't provoke him.
08:04I'm not trying to provoke him, but there's another human being being destroyed in front of our very eyes and
08:09some of us give a damn.
08:12Key word there is another human being, J.R., don't stick yourself in there and put yourself at risk.
08:16You know you enjoy this anyway, look out!
08:19All right, ladies.
08:20Jeff Hardy fell right into the timekeeper's table.
08:24Wow.
08:26This is sad.
08:28This is damn sure sad.
08:29The Undertaker in that chair driving right into the sternum of a helpless kid that came here to put his
08:35career on the line.
08:36Come upon the Undisputed Champion.
08:37Well, what the hell did you expect, J.R.?
08:39The kid asked for a ladder match with the Undertaker?
08:43What did you expect?
08:44You think he was gonna come out unscathed?
08:45His ass.
08:46He's gonna take the weapon of his life.
08:48He's taking it.
08:50He's taking it.
08:51He's not gonna walk out of this arena tonight.
08:54Undertaker still may come back and bite him in his ass when he didn't win the match when he had
08:57the chance.
08:59Undertaker may come back and bite who in their ass.
09:01He's kicking ass is what the Undertaker's doing.
09:04Undertaker loves punishing people.
09:06He loves hurting people.
09:11J.R., let me make one thing perfectly clear to you, okay?
09:14Jeff Hardy asked for this match.
09:17I know.
09:17You saw him.
09:18You hurt him last week?
09:19You saw him?
09:20What do you mean to do about it?
09:21What a ladder match.
09:22I heard what he said.
09:23Well, he's got it now.
09:26And he's being physically dissected by perhaps the most evil and intense human being.
09:31And whose fault is that?
09:33Whose fault is that, J.R.?
09:36It's Jeff Hardy's.
09:37He asked for it.
09:38And he's getting it.
09:41Well, I still have compassion for another human being.
09:43And he deserves it.
09:44If he asked for it or not.
09:45Well, I don't know if he deserves being dismantled.
09:47I don't know if he deserves having his career taken away from him.
09:50Does anybody deserve that?
09:52Is that what he deserves?
09:53He deserves to get his guts out of him?
09:55Does he deserve to get his ass hit home to North Carolina forever?
09:59Does he deserve that?
10:00I don't think so.
10:05I wish The Undertaker was through.
10:07This has been sick.
10:08The Undertaker's not gonna be through for a long time.
10:10He's gonna drag this down.
10:12He's gonna make this punk kid suffer.
10:15Jeff Hardy trying to fight backwards.
10:17You gotta wonder how much he's got.
10:18He's got no punches.
10:19He's got everything.
10:20He's gonna answer everything he's got.
10:22Everything he's got.
10:23Jeff Hardy holding back.
10:25A hit.
10:26A right hand.
10:27Knocking down the talent.
10:29That sent a little message.
10:31What an offensive flurry by Jeff Hardy.
10:34And it may have been everything he had left.
10:36Yeah, he was flailing away like, I'll just tell you this.
10:41The Undertaker just sent a message to Jeff Hardy.
10:42And he's sending a message to everybody right now.
10:45Every WWE superstar, but especially Kurt Angle, and especially The Rock.
10:50He's showing these two guys what he's capable of.
10:53Well, it may be singing message.
10:54This tonight is not about Kurt Angle, and it's not about The Rock.
10:57Yes, it is.
10:58It's about Jeff Hardy trying to live his dream.
11:01And looking to challenge in a match that he thought he had a better than 50-50
11:05chance of winning.
11:06Did you think, did you actually think that Jeff Hardy had a better than 50-50 chance
11:10of winning this match?
11:11In the wrestling match, I damn sure did.
11:13How wrong are you?
11:14Well, it's not over, is it?
11:16It's not over, is it?
11:18I don't know.
11:18Let's see.
11:20If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
11:21I've been wrong before.
11:22But this is not over.
11:23It'll be over when The Undertaker says it's over.
11:26It might be over right here.
11:27You gotta be kidding me.
11:28You can't do this.
11:29He'll do the wrong.
11:33Hardy's sandwich.
11:34I hurt The Undertaker too bad, but Jeff Hardy just got dismantled.
11:39He has been completely, completely torn apart.
11:45And the referee can't stop it, because there's no disqualifications.
11:49You can't be counted out.
11:50There's only one way for this match to end, and that's when someone climbs the ladder
11:56and gains possession of the undisputed championship belt, which is hanging high above the center
12:03of this ring.
12:03I don't think Jeff Hardy's gonna do any climb at night.
12:07We don't have the right boots on for that.
12:09Jeff Hardy's propped up in the corner.
12:12And nowhere to go, just drill, right in the chest, driving the air out of this kid.
12:18You remember what The Undertaker said, don't you?
12:20Not only is he gonna win the match, but he's gonna make sure that Jeff Hardy was not able
12:25to walk out of this arena tonight.
12:27And what a sick thought that is.
12:29Why?
12:30What a sick thought.
12:31Why?
12:31To cripple somebody.
12:34Jeff Hardy's back, spying, smashing that ladder, and the ladder could give a damn.
12:40It could give a damn by the anatomy of this human being.
12:45Yeah?
12:45And The Undertaker gives a damn less.
12:47Oh, no!
12:48Jeff Hardy has wanted contact.
12:50He's brought himself a little bit of time.
12:54Don't worry, Undertaker's all right.
12:56He's okay.
12:57No!
12:58Undertaker riding back on the attack.
13:00Undertaker tasted that ladder momentarily.
13:03And Jeff Hardy with a corkscrew.
13:05My God, Jeff Hardy went for it all.
13:07It caught The Undertaker right in the face with that corkscrew off the top.
13:12That's all right.
13:13You can't win the match that way.
13:15I can only imagine.
13:16You get all excited about the corkscrews all you want.
13:18I can only imagine this pain this kid's trying to endure here.
13:23He can barely hold the ladder nice.
13:26He hasn't had to do it.
13:28I'm kicking Jeff Hardy's head almost off his shoulders.
13:32His carcass, his body, certainly out of the ring.
13:35We'll take one more look at this last ditch effort by Jeff Hardy.
13:41That was impressive.
13:42Yeah, it's over.
13:42And The Undertaker instead of setting the ladder up and going for the title,
13:47wants to come out here and reflect more pain.
13:49And he got a low blow.
13:50And again, there's no dismodification.
13:52Get on.
13:53You can do those kind of actions?
13:55There's no dismodification.
13:57Okay.
13:57You're having a parade for The Undertaker.
14:02My God, Jeff Hardy leaping off that ladder over the top,
14:06clearing the top rope, landing on The Undertaker.
14:09And now can Jeff Hardy beat The Undertaker back in the ring?
14:12Can Jeff Hardy set the ladder up?
14:14Can Jeff Hardy become the Undisputed Champion?
14:17One more look at this.
14:18This is the ladder actually has like a diamond already dove right over on top of The Undertaker.
14:24And again, this, my God, that's a big ladder.
14:29That's a bigger ladder than they started with.
14:33I guess, what's that for?
14:36What's that for?
14:37He's gonna go paint his garage.
14:40Look at this, he sets this ladder up.
14:42The ladder almost touches the championship goal.
14:46Jeff Hardy can live his dream.
14:48Undertaker.
14:49Jeff Hardy can make history.
14:50Undertaker.
14:51This could be the biggest I've ever.
14:55Jeff Hardy, his body rocked with pain trying to climb the ladder.
15:00The Undertaker falling back to the ring with a tugging blow to the lower back.
15:04Lower back, back of his head, I think.
15:07Look at this.
15:08He climbed right into the position for the last run.
15:11Give it to him, give it to him.
15:14Undertaker, a hurt from the outside.
15:16The Undertaker, go for it, go for it, Jeff.
15:18Get up, turn your ass off.
15:20Get up, Undertaker.
15:21Get your ass up.
15:22Get up the ladder.
15:23Get up.
15:24New champion.
15:25Get up, Undertaker.
15:27Jeff Hardy's a step or two away.
15:28He's almost there.
15:29He's a step or two away from history.
15:32Did he?
15:34Jeff Hardy is close, he's touching the goal.
15:36My God.
15:38What a vital shot to the spine by The Undertaker.
15:42Jeff Hardy was touching the goal.
15:44He was touching the other three times.
15:46He was inches away.
15:48Was Jeff Hardy from making history.
15:51Come on.
15:52The Undertaker's gonna make it really famous.
15:55The Undertaker said Jeff Hardy was not gonna walk out of here.
15:58And he may be right.
16:00But again, he may be wrong.
16:03No, I think he's right.
16:04Wait a minute.
16:05Wait a minute.
16:05My paycheck, he's right.
16:06Come on.
16:07Give it to him.
16:07Jeff Hardy trying to fight out of this.
16:09Jeff with a tear.
16:11What?
16:15It may be the night.
16:17It may be the biggest night.
16:19Get up, Taker.
16:19Get up.
16:20He's still got my damn tear.
16:22God almighty.
16:23A knockout shot.
16:25A knockout shot.
16:27Try my ladder, kid.
16:29Make yourself famous.
16:30Please get up, Undertaker.
16:32Jeff Hardy has already racked the pain from head to pole.
16:36Get up, Undertaker.
16:39He's inches away from immortality.
16:42Ooh.
16:43God.
16:44Ooh.
16:45Got one but two shots to the spine of this kid.
16:50The Undertaker almost out on his own feet.
16:54And now he's climbing the ladder.
16:56Come on.
16:56Jeff Hardy is close.
16:58Get it.
16:58Get your title.
17:01Look out.
17:02Come on, kid.
17:03You're gonna still do it.
17:04One more step.
17:05One more step.
17:06He got it.
17:07He got it.
17:08My God.
17:10God, no.
17:12No, no, no, no, no.
17:13The two sides off the top of the ladder.
17:16And The Undertaker with a tilt slam off the top of the ladder has won one hell of a fight.
17:23One hell of a fight.
17:24Here is your winner and still the WWE Undisputed Champion, The Undertaker.
17:31This match took a tremendous amount out of The Undertaker.
17:35And poor Jeff Hardy gave us everything he had.
17:39Yeah, but Undertaker kept his word.
17:40He gave us his word that Jeff Hardy would not walk out of this arena.
17:44Look at it.
17:45He's down.
17:45He's down and he's out.
17:47And The Undertaker is still your Undisputed Champion.
17:53He said Jeff Hardy wouldn't be standing and he's not.
17:56What do you have to say about that, JR?
17:58Jeff Hardy had a hell of an effort.
18:00I'm proud of Jeff Hardy.
18:01I'm proud of what he put his body through to become the best in the business.
18:05But it was not to be on this fateful night on this ladder match.
18:09Wait a minute.
18:10Hey, Undertaker.
18:11That punk's getting up.
18:14Jeff Hardy is getting back up.
18:15You better stay down, kid.
18:16This kid is gonna, he will not die.
18:19Jeff Hardy will not die.
18:21He will not stay down.
18:22Don't speak too soon.
18:24Lay down.
18:25Leave him alone.
18:26Lay down, boy.
18:26Enough is enough.
18:29We should have just laid down.
18:30There's no reason for this.
18:32Well, there is a reason.
18:38He's gonna be checking into that wooden wall door pretty soon.
18:47My God, I can't believe The Undertaker wins a match.
18:50And he's gotta come back and punish this kid a little bit more with that last ride.
18:56And maybe that was the message to Kurt Angle for SmackDown Thursday.
19:00Maybe it was the message for The Rock and Vengeance.
19:03I don't know.
19:04All I know is that Jeff Hardy made his family.
19:08He made the WWE proud.
19:10Wait a minute.
19:10Hey.
19:12Tell me he's not talking.
19:13You haven't broke me, Taker.
19:16You haven't broke me.
19:19I'm still standing.
19:22No, you're not.
19:23Cut the mic off.
19:24From the ropes I'm standing.
19:26Cut the damn mic off.
19:27That's enough.
19:29This kid, Jeff, don't do it.
19:30Right, that's enough.
19:32Jeff, that's enough.
19:33Throw the microphone.
19:34You got nothing to prove, kid.
19:36Give us that microphone.
19:38You got nothing to prove.
19:40And Jeff Hardy's defenseless here.
19:44There's no reason for this.
19:47He can't even defend himself.
19:52You should never think of The Undertaker's gonna do this.
19:54This kid who gives his heart and soul, he's helpless.
19:58Look, look, look.
19:59He's helpless.
20:00As I said, he's defenseless.
20:02Look at that, he is The Undertaker.
20:04Raises Jeff Hardy's hand.
20:06What the hell is up with that?
20:13Look at that.
20:15I guarantee you one thing, Jeff Hardy came to play here tonight on Raw.
20:21And before a sellout crowd, Jeff Hardy gave his heart and his soul to become the undisputed tension in this
20:29ladder match.
20:29But it was not to be against The Undertaker.
20:33I'm amazed that Jeff Hardy survived it.
20:35And I think in surviving, he earned a amount of respect for that man from The Undertaker.
20:42Jeff Hardy should have earned all our respect.
20:45There's no doubt about that.
