00:17What's that?
00:19It's Vaivry
00:20I love this show
00:36It's the Minister for Innovations here.
00:38Right.
01:49I am delighted
01:51to be back here at Clifford Park
01:54in which I have such happy memories
01:57of representing my mother,
01:59Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
02:01at the independent celebrations in 1973.
02:07I can hardly believe
02:09that it has been 53 years
02:12since I stood here
02:14and watched the Bahamian flag
02:17raised for the very first time.
02:32It is only right
02:33that we should acknowledge
02:35the great suffering and injustices
02:37of the past
02:38in these islands and beyond,
02:41even as we rejoice
02:43in the successes of the present
02:45and build new opportunities
02:47for the future.
02:49We reflect on the significance
02:51of this occasion
02:52and the opportunity to show
03:08All right, let's join together
03:13and bid farewell to Madison King Strong.
