00:00So how much of a success has this visit been so far, if you would have to rate it?
00:04I would say that it was a very considerable success.
00:07On the one hand, we know that relations between the British government and the American administration are at a low,
00:16I would say, since, well, you have to look back to the 1950s and the Suez debacle to find anything
00:22comparable.
00:23On the other hand, the one thing President Trump has been consistent over, that is his affection for the royal
00:30family.
00:31That has come out very, very clearly.
00:33Didn't know his mother had a crush on Prince Charles as he was then, but now we do.
00:39Facts are, however, that what comes out of this very, very clearly, the background is extraordinary.
00:46And there are so many economic and cultural aspects of things.
00:52But equally, there is no doubt that President Trump is totally unpredictable.
00:58He weaponizes this fact.
01:00And he revealed, which he should not have, that King Charles agreed, and this is part of the policy of
01:06the British government, that Iran should not have nuclear weapons.
01:10We'd like to possibly hear more about that.
