00:00let's move on to two teams one that can't stand the fact that they got to play in this bowl and

00:04another team i definitely think has some motivation here tennessee would be the team that doesn't want

00:09to be there paul they want to get back into that playoff picture sec picture they're two and a half

00:14point favorites in the music city bowl this game is coming up on tuesday appetizer before the main

00:21meal so to speak 5 30 p.m eastern a total of 61 and a half do you have a lean on this one at all

00:28feels like we got two good quarterbacks at least playing in this game if they do suit up

00:32yeah i'll tell you craig you know the sec has done a genius job through the years in my opinion with

00:40their marketing slogans and one of those slogans and one that i really enjoy is it just means more

00:46and in this case i think it does mean more but i think it means more to the fighting Illini of

00:52Illinois i think the big 10 uh they sense that they are kind of um considered by most college

00:59football fans to be a notch behind the sec so i think i think they take these sec versus big 10

01:06bowl games very seriously uh you mentioned tennessee not really wanting to be there even though they're

01:11in their home state of tennessee about 200 miles to the west in nashville uh for this bowl game

01:17they were in the college football playoff last year and i think they had their their designs on

01:21a similar fate this season just didn't work out uh they went four and four in sec play you look at

01:28the four teams that tennessee beat in conference uh mississippi state arkansas kentucky and florida

01:34those teams were five and 27 combined in sec play so they didn't really beat any of the better teams in

01:42the conference and then their non-conference the four teams they played in their non-conference

01:47schedule a bunch of heavyweights syracuse who was way down this year east tennessee state of fcs

01:54uab and new mexico state so i say that uh facetiously they're not really heavyweight so they have not

02:02beaten anybody of note illinois like tennessee eight and four on the year they did beat a pretty good or

02:09real good southern cal team 34 to 32 uh in september as a seven point home underdog both these teams going

02:16to be rating uh going to be missing rather uh some key players not a whole lot of players but some key

02:23players i consider that pretty much a wash i don't see one team having an advantage over the other as

02:29far as the missing players but last year to my earlier point the big 10 five and one straight up

02:36against the sec in either bowl games or playoff games i think that continues in this one i think

02:42illinois wins outright i like the fighting a line now plus two and a half over the volunteers
