00:00Don't stop.
00:01Keep it coming, baby.
00:04Don't stop.
00:05You didn't bring it in, bring it in.
00:08Man ass.
00:10Man ass.
00:11Man ass.
00:12Man ass.
00:12Man ass.
00:13Man ass.
00:14Man ass.
00:16Man ass.
00:16Man ass.
00:17Man ass.
00:28Man ass.
00:29Man ass.
00:33Bear down, baby.
00:35How about it?
00:36If you're a Bears fan, you gotta love sports.
00:38That was the most amazing and inspiring victory the Chicago Bears have had in a very long time.
00:46And when I say a long time, I'm talking about from the quarterback position ever.
00:52The Chicago Bears, for the first time in franchise history, if you didn't know, now you know,
00:58have a star quarterback.
01:00And when you looked at Caleb Williams last night, the numbers, unbelievable.
01:06The field, even better.
01:09I'm gonna tell you what Caleb Williams reminded me of.
01:12Who Caleb Williams reminded me of?
01:15Aaron Rodgers.
01:16You see the tight window throws last night.
01:19You see the ability to throw missiles in the perfect spot to his targets.
01:24And out of harm's way, where the defenders can't reach him.
01:28The back shoulder throws.
01:29He has now put touch on his fastball.
01:33This is watching something special.
01:35Caleb Williams is a superstar.
01:37Missed three games with a hamstring injury.
01:39He comes back.
01:40He dominates the Atlanta Falcons.
01:42Throws for over 300 yards.
01:44He completes in that game over 80% of his passes.
01:47And then somehow, some way against better competition, short week, he is even better and more majestic
01:55last night going up against the New England Patriots.
01:58That was a high level sporting event.
02:00Great quarterback play.
02:02Drake made Caleb Williams.
02:04May had the one red zone pick.
02:06Other than that, he was fabulous.
02:07But the story was Caleb.
02:09And the fact that the Bears won this game around their quarterback because of their quarterback.
02:16Because of the quarterback and the head coach play caller Ben Johnson.
02:19And what Ben Johnson has done making Caleb Williams into a superstar quarterback.
02:24That's unbelievable stuff.
02:26And how about the way Caleb distributed the ball?
02:28I mean, the playmakers were unbelievable last night.
02:32Luther Burden.
02:33I mean, look at that.
02:34Four targets, four catches.
02:35That's pitching the perfect game.
02:37130 yards.
02:38That touchdown.
02:40Colston Loveland.
02:41He was reborn when Williams came back against Atlanta.
02:45You saw him last night.
02:47Seven catches.
02:4869 yards.
02:49That was incredible.
02:50And a touchdown.
02:51And hey, a Roman Dunze signing.
02:54He's kind of been a bit of a disappointment.
02:56I thought he was going to be fabulous when they drafted him in the first round with Caleb
03:00a couple years ago.
03:02Hasn't been the case.
03:03Roman Dunze needed that.
03:05Tough clutch.
03:06He was excellent.
03:07DeAndre Swift ran the ball with authority.
03:10Gave Caleb Williams balance.
03:11And what I loved, and you're always looking for signs here, the Bears dealt with adversity.
03:16I mean, even at the end of the game, right?
03:19That final drive, 27-21, and the Bears are trying to wind the clock down, and the one
03:25thing they couldn't do on third and five on the Patriots 30, and I personally want to
03:30run the ball.
03:30Ben Johnson, there's a pass, calls a pass play.
03:33You can't take a sack.
03:34Caleb Williams gets sacked.
03:37Caleb Williams gets sacked.
03:37Okay.
03:38All right.
03:38Sucks.
03:39They're going to have to punt.
03:40He trots the field goal unit on.
03:42No hesitation.
03:43Bam!
03:44Santos from 58.
03:46I don't even think any of it made sense, but it worked.
03:49And there's just something beautiful and special and confidence about this football team.
03:55And last year, they were able to make the playoffs, win a division.
04:00They lose the divisional round.
04:01And now, I think they're going to win the division.
04:04I think they're going to be better than Minnesota when it's all said and done.
04:08I picked them preseason here on Shine Time to win the ultra-competitive.
04:12You see the standings of the record right here, the NFC North.
04:15And listen, I think the Bears have real Championship Sunday vibes.
04:21And a sign of a great team, a championship team, it's a game like last night.
04:25Brilliantly coached with Ben Johnson.
04:27They have a star quarterback.
04:28The weapons come to play.
04:30But they deal with in-game adversity.
04:33That sequence I mentioned at the end of the game, which again, I thought was a bit confusing
04:38and wrong and chaotic.
04:39It doesn't matter what I think or you think or Bears fans or the media elite or the Twitter
04:43tough guys, the Bears rocked it.
04:45End of the first half was wild, right?
04:48You know, that little dump off from May to Stevenson.
04:51Dennis Allen, the Bears defensive coordinator, sending six guys.
04:55Didn't make any sense.
04:56Made zero sense.
04:59And that end of the first half gave Matt Eberflus kind of vibes.
05:02Then they get the ball to start the second half.
05:04Touchdown drive from Caleb Williams.
05:05Saves the entire thing.
05:07So that was unbelievable.
05:08Look, this division is going to be tough.
05:11I really think that it's unbelievable.
05:14And this Bears are certainly going to be eyeing the Lions and the Packers coming up on Sunday
05:20on Fox.
05:21And you know, that's going to be a terrific, terrific game.
05:24But I think not only are the Chicago Bears the best team in the division, they are one
05:30of the best teams in the NFL.
05:32I know what the record says, and it's excellent at five and two.
05:35I think they're even better than that.
05:37You've got to factor in the Caleb Williams injury.
05:39And let me tell you something.
05:41This is the most inspiring Bear team since Ditka led them to the championship in 85.
05:48Because they have the best, most talented quarterback they've ever had in franchise history.
05:53A head coach who is so smart, so calculated, his players love him.
05:58Even when there's a problem, they have the unbelievable foundation and formula to fix it.
06:05There's something special right now going on with the Chicago Bears.
06:09Here are the rest of our picks for week number seven in the National Football League.
06:13I said last week I was very concerned about these spreads.
06:17Honestly, other than San Francisco, Atlanta, you see I'm going with the Niners.
06:21I did not hesitate on any of these.
06:25Love the Carolina Panthers.
06:26Love the Cleveland Browns.
06:28Yeah, we're going to continue to roll here with the Denver Broncos, even though at the
06:33end of the day, I don't trust Bo Nix as far as I could throw him.
06:40Fakes.
06:40Max is open.
06:41Indeed.
06:42Shoots it.
06:42And scores.
06:43Sixers take the lead.
06:45Their first lead of the night.
06:47So many big plays here in the second half of the Sixers.
06:50It was everything that I dreamed of and more.
06:53Got the booze.
06:54That was amazing.
06:56That we deserved it.
06:57And then we got the cheers and we almost blew the roof off this thing tonight, you know,
07:03in a good way.
07:04So that was a hell of a night.
07:08That was one of the most unbelievable sporting events in terms of what it was and what it means
07:16big picture.
07:17I've ever seen in all my years watching regular season basketball.
07:23Like I know it's game two of a season.
07:27That matters.
07:28And if you're a fan of the Philadelphia 76ers, don't make any plans in June.
07:34Just keep the whole month open because we're talking about a team that can absolutely win a championship.
07:40Listen, and I say this as a Knicks fan.
07:43When the Sixers put this team together, we said, listen, they're going to be unbelievable.
07:49All the parts and the pieces fit.
07:52And I expected them to beat the Knicks on banner night and they did.
07:56And then I'm watching the game last night and Cleveland stunningly is destroying the 76ers.
08:02And it's like, all right, that stinks.
08:04And the fans are booing.
08:05And it just wasn't going to be the Sixers night.
08:08And I was dead wrong.
08:09And Cleveland's rocking.
08:11That was the greatest comeback in the history of LeBron James.
08:1529 points.
08:17The greatest deficit a LeBron James team has ever eradicated.
08:21That's unreal.
08:23And to do that and the home opener for him in Philadelphia.
08:27First time he's worn the home Philly uniform.
08:30That's perfect.
08:32That is believability.
08:34That's credibility.
08:36And to do it against Cleveland, Mr. Akron, Mr. Cleveland.
08:40I mean, that's perfect and poetic.
08:44And it's everything.
08:45And it's a sign.
08:46And we talked about it on Shine Time.
08:48Why signing in Philly makes all the sense of the world for LeBron.
08:51And I just love what Philadelphia was able to do.
08:55Because look, I'm on record and I was right.
08:57I think Joel Embiid's a losing ball player.
09:00They know it too.
09:01The process is dead.
09:02The process never existed.
09:04But it's really dead when they bring in guys like James and they bring in guys like Brown.
09:09And look at this.
09:10Just look at the stats here.
09:12Right?
09:13Get used to this.
09:16Tyrese Maxey's the best player on the team.
09:19Tyrese Maxey is an unbelievable winner.
09:22He's an unbelievable bucket getter.
09:25Great energy.
09:26He told the press after.
09:28Told ESPN.
09:29The game was on ESPN.
09:30He was the one who told his team, I'm challenging you.
09:34We're not going out like this.
09:36He was the one.
09:37Not LeBron.
09:38Not Jalen Brown.
09:39Who gave the fiery halftime speech.
09:41And it's awesome.
09:42Maxey's the best player on the team.
09:44Jalen Brown has a chip on his shoulder.
09:46He also has a chip.
09:48Like, that's why he was perfect.
09:50Joel Embiid, I was curious to see because he's been such a, you know, doesn't want to play.
09:57Doesn't want to do back to back.
09:58Always hurt.
09:59Trust the process.
10:00Losing's okay.
10:01Joel Embiid's buying in.
10:03He was remarkable.
10:04And James, one of the great players.
10:07One of the great winners in the history of the NBA.
10:10And it's a perfect fit.
10:11And not to mention the fifth guy on that board, Vijay Edgecombe.
10:15Phenomenal second year player who had a great rookie season in Philly.
10:19Nick Nurse is a championship coach.
10:21If you're a Knicks fan watching this, you just have to realize Philadelphia is better than New York.
10:27And I picked Philly to have the most wins and get the number one seed in the Eastern Conference.
10:32I picked the Knicks as a three seed to win the East.
10:34Listen, it's not going to be an easy road or easy for any team beating Philly in Philly.
10:41And by the way, I'm not an idiot.
10:43Like, we're two games into the season.
10:45It's not like I'm, you know, moving ahead to the playoffs here.
10:48And you have to worry about age and health and everything that goes into the mix.
10:51This Sixers team is everything you want on a championship squad.
10:55Like, if I didn't hate the Sixers, and I hate the Sixers, I'd love these Sixers.
10:59This is a terrific mix, a terrific blend.
11:01Max is one of my favorite players in sports.
11:04The fact that they came back and LeBron did it against Cleveland.
11:10A lot of people took the cheese, I did, on him going back to Cleveland for a third time.
11:16I mean, the Cavs are going nowhere.
11:18You think Kenny Atkinson, you know, according to analytics, you know, thinks he won that game.
11:23I mean, please, bag it, loser.
11:25I love what I saw from Philadelphia in terms of that they won, how they won.
11:30They turned the boos into cheers.
11:33Unbelievable stuff when you take a look at it from a Sixers standpoint.
11:37And if you were curious how the pieces were going to fit, what the effort and energy was going to
11:42look like,
11:43now you have your proof.
11:45To the defending champs, where have you gone, Mr. Robinson?
11:49To the Celtics!
11:50Knicks are going to see Mitch for the first time that they won the chip.
11:53And everybody's talking about it.
11:56You're excited for anybody that's able to help their situation or family.
12:01You know, in life.
12:04And, you know, Boston gave him a nice deal.
12:07And so, you know, you want nothing but the best for him because you know him and he's a great,
12:13great, great freaking dude.
12:15But you want to beat him, you know, at the end of the day.
12:18So, it's going to be exciting to see him because of the type of person he is and what we
12:26all went through together last year.
12:29But at the end of the day, we want to kick his ass like he probably wants to kick ours.
12:33Were you able to watch the, were you able to watch the ring ceremony the other night?
12:37Were you able to watch the ring ceremony the other night?
12:37Were you able to find him on Friday?
12:39I didn't watch it.
12:42I mean, again, I was still stuck in my head from last game.
12:46So, still, I mean, I'm proud of those guys.
12:51I mean, obviously I was a part of it.
12:52And, you know, I just didn't really want to watch it.
12:58So, Mitchell Robinson going to Boston made me nauseous.
13:02It made me gag.
13:04It makes me throw up in my mouth.
13:06Because Mitchell Robinson was such a winning, tough, clutch, warrior, instrumental on the greatest championship I've seen in my life.
13:16And he was a longest-tenured Nick and meant so much.
13:20And all Nick's fans love him.
13:21And he deserves to be celebrated.
13:24He deserves the accolades.
13:26When the Celtics go to New York, he will get an incredible video tribute.
13:32He'll get his ring.
13:33It will be an amazing moment.
13:35And here's to you, Mr. Robinson.
13:38Like, it absolutely, he deserves all the love and the accolades.
13:41Seeing Kim in a Celtics uniform makes me queasy.
13:45Makes me sick.
13:46But I understand why Mitch took the bag.
13:49I get it.
13:50And, frankly, for who he is and what he does, Celtics grossly overpaid.
13:55It doesn't mean I don't appreciate him as a Nick.
13:57I mean, that contract is crazy.
13:59No one else in the league was offering him that.
14:01Plus, with Mitch, and I love him, have to factor in injuries.
14:04You heard on the clip right there, he said he stole inside his head from the first game.
14:08He got a little nicked in the first game.
14:10He'll be ready to go tonight.
14:14André Drummond for this year's Knicks might be better.
14:17And I love André Drummond.
14:18And you saw what he did in the first game.
14:21And he is a terrific rebounder.
14:24And he is terrific when it comes to putting the ball in the bucket.
14:28He's an older statesman.
14:30He's not as great as Mitch is in any way, shape, or form on defense.
14:33Did block a couple of shots against the Sixers on opening night.
14:38I don't think this is a downgrade in any way, shape, or form.
14:42And we talked about that in real time.
14:44It's not an overreaction to André Drummond in game number one against Philadelphia.
14:50Here's what I do think is important, right?
14:53Because ring night was emotional.
14:55You heard me on shot time.
14:56I picked Philly to win that game.
14:57This is obviously the Mitch hello, Mitch reunion game.
15:01You know what I'd like to see the Knicks do tonight?
15:04Win.
15:06It's game two.
15:07I'm not panicking after game one.
15:09I expected Philadelphia to win.
15:10I think the way Jalen Brunson rallied everyone,
15:14focused everyone after the loss.
15:17You know, celebrate, validate, stamp it.
15:19Now it's off to 2026-2027 season.
15:22Now it's moving it forward.
15:24So I think that this is a spot where the Knicks are the better team
15:29compared and contrast to the Boston Celtics.
15:32Jalen Brown's not walking through that door.
15:33There's no way Paul George, who scored 38 in the last game,
15:37there's no way he does that again.
15:39Jason Tatum was invisible when the Celtics collapsed in Detroit.
15:45I just want to see the Knicks win.
15:46By the way, there's some Knicks news.
15:48Dalton Connect, who I loved at Tennessee, loved him as a Laker,
15:52and then they put him in that failed Mark Williams deal,
15:55and then everything spiraled, and he couldn't get it together again.
15:59There was no more trust.
16:00Knicks are signing him.
16:01I'm going to tell you right here, right now, because we'll play this back.
16:05It's going to be a terrific move.
16:06I love this kid.
16:07I think they should have never traded him in the first place.
16:10I wish that the Mark Williams deal didn't fail, and they should have never flunked that physical in L.A.
16:14I think this has flyer potential.
16:18The Knicks were reportedly aggressive in trying to get him once he cleared waivers.
16:24I think this is a terrific, terrific move.
16:27Look, I think the Knicks are going to be excellent.
16:29I think tonight is going to be the first win that they'll have since they raised the banner,
16:33since they won the championship.
16:35I think Boston is a weak team, compare and contrast to the Knicks.
16:40Jalen Brunson is going to be the best player on the floor tonight.
16:43He's going to go off.
16:45You could thank Mitch for all the memories.
16:47You could remember the blocks, the rebounds, everything.
16:50We'll give him a video tribute when he's in New York.
16:53But here's to you, Mr. Robinson.
16:56Now, we're going to kick your ass.
16:59Ah, yes.
17:00Football Friday.
17:01Time right now for Shine's Lines.
17:03We had our worst week of the year last week.
17:06Five and nine.
17:07But still, as you see, very much on the right side of history,
17:11picking games against the spread for the year.
17:14Our guest picker this week needs no introduction.
17:17He is the face of the IFL.
17:20He is the critically acclaimed host of America's most entertaining
17:24and popular national sports radio morning show, Babs and the Boss.
17:30He is also the incredible host of Babchick's Morning After.
17:35He is a Melinda's Hot Sauce enthusiast.
17:38He is our great friend, Mad Dog Sports Radio superstar,
17:43the great Mike Babchick.
17:45Babs, how are ya?
17:47Oh, fantastic.
17:48I don't like hearing about you coming off the worst week,
17:51but at least you're finally admitting it, you know?
17:54It's been years and years.
17:56You're ready now.
17:56You embrace the flaws, and I love that about you.
18:00I think you learned from me.
18:01I'm nothing but one giant flaw, but yet continue to fail up in life.
18:04So, I'm happy to be here, and let's make it happen.
18:08Let's make it rain.
18:09I'm excited.
18:10J.J. McCarthy and the Giants, they are in Houston to take on the Texans.
18:14You've been talking about this story with J.J. McCarthy on Babs and the Boss on Mad Dog Sports Radio
18:20all week long.
18:22The Texans are favored by ten and a half.
18:25Michael, take your pick.
18:27Yeah, this is one of these games where it's like, oh my God, that line's ridiculous.
18:30That line's almost too big.
18:32This is too easy, right?
18:33It's J.J.
18:34He looked good in that fourth quarter.
18:36Was it the Saints in that defense that just let up, or did J.J. actually have the spark?
18:41Ten and a half's too much for a team that was 0 and 4, right?
18:45Texans finally get it together, win two games.
18:47But that line is wild.
18:49That's an easy one, right?
18:50Giants plus ten and a half, and that's why you go opposite.
18:53And the Texans will win this game by more than ten and a half.
18:57This spread will come true.
18:58There's a reason why we get these spreads correct.
19:01This one, even though I like the Giants, I like the Giants to win the NFC East.
19:05But they'll do it under 500.
19:06I do like the Giants.
19:07I think J.J.'s going to be better than Winston.
19:09But I'm going to ride the Texans defense to unsettle J.J. McCarthy in his first start.
19:15And even though the line looks nuts, it's exactly why you go against your instincts and go minus ten and
19:21a half.
19:21I mean, that was a wild ride getting there and laying the ten and a half with Houston.
19:25That's what makes you amazing.
19:27Listen, I'm going to stick with the first part of your logic.
19:30I'm taking the Giants.
19:31I'm grabbing the points.
19:32Listen, I think J.J. McCarthy absolutely is the right guy at the right time.
19:37You know, I thought the Texans defense would be the best in the league before the season.
19:41Wasn't even close on that prediction.
19:44To your brilliant point, I like Houston to win the game.
19:47Ten and a half is too much.
19:49I think Harbaugh is an unbelievable coach.
19:51Big game for Malik neighbors.
19:53I'll grab the points here with the Giants.
19:56Your Jets, Babs.
19:58At home, favored by four and a half points against the winless Miami Dolphins.
20:02Take your pick.
20:03Adam, you don't trust the Jets.
20:05I mean, I sat through a rainy game in the Browns and I regret it every second of it.
20:09I regret it every time I walk into MetLife as a Jets fan.
20:13You just don't do it.
20:14You know, you're thinking, oh, the Dolphins are terrible.
20:16The Jets defense is good.
20:17They'll win this game.
20:18Four and a half.
20:19No.
20:20Don't trust them.
20:21Don't pick them ever.
20:23If Aaron Glenn doesn't know who gets the ball at halftime,
20:26why should I believe they beat even a bad team in the Dolphins?
20:30I think the Dolphins, maybe they win by a field goal, the Jets, but the Dolphins, go ahead and give
20:34me that four and a half.
20:35I will roll with Miami and go against my team because I know my team.
20:39So you are a diehard Jets fan.
20:43You go to every single home game.
20:45They have had Mike Babchick appreciation game.
20:48I understand all of that.
20:50I think, and feel free to quote this back to me.
20:53I think the Jets are the best bet of the week.
20:56I'm going to lay the four and a half with the Jets.
20:58And I understand Aaron Glenn has never won a game as a head coach of the Jets in the AFC
21:05East.
21:05I understand that.
21:07The Miami Dolphins haven't had a lead all season long.
21:11Not one moment, not one second where they've had a lead on the scoreboard.
21:17I see a monster game for Geno Smith.
21:19Monster game for Garrett Wilson.
21:21Jets defense is pretty good.
21:25Line is legit.
21:27I think Allen could run the ball.
21:29I don't think Miami wants to win.
21:31I think they're going for the number one pick in the draft.
21:33Can't believe I'm saying it.
21:34Oh, I love the Jets, Mike.
21:37I love them this week.
21:38What are you doing?
21:39I will not let you live this down on Babson of Boston.
21:42Of course, that leads in what a lead in to shine on sports.
21:45And I will not let you live it down.
21:47For you to say that the Jets are the best anything is wrong.
21:51And I will never forget it.
21:53You can mark the tape.
21:54Oh, boy.
21:55This better work out for me.
21:57Otherwise, it's going to be a long week, long week for us.
22:01Rams laying four and a half against the Raiders in Vegas.
22:04Who you got?
22:05Yeah, I want to do the Rams.
22:07I want to believe in the Rams.
22:08I really do.
22:09I want them to come back and be in the playoffs at two and four.
22:13I can't write them off just yet.
22:15But Sean McVay, each and every week, it's the same story.
22:18Just goes to the podium and hand up accountability.
22:20I'm sorry.
22:21It's on me.
22:22It's on me.
22:22Eventually, the players go, you know what?
22:24It is on you.
22:24It's not on us anymore.
22:25He's almost taking too much accountability.
22:27I'm a guy who never takes any accountability.
22:30So I am kind of down on Sean McVay for not doing the bad check,
22:33which is passing the buck and pointing the finger.
22:36That's just a better way to do it.
22:37I like the Raiders.
22:39Maybe they could cover this game.
22:40Maybe the Rams still barely win with a brand new kicker.
22:43But I think the Raiders are actually headed to the playoffs.
22:46And for that to happen, you're going to have to play some tight football.
22:48You might have to win a game.
22:50I am not ready.
22:51Even though I think the Rams might turn around eventually.
22:53Just not yet.
22:54I'll go with the Raiders.
22:55Even though I want to go with the Rams.
22:57Listen, I love the Rams last week.
22:59So I give you that for perspective.
23:00I love the Rams this week.
23:02I mean, at some point they have to look like the team that we thought
23:06we were going to witness at the beginning of the season.
23:09I'm with you on McVay's press conferences.
23:12You know, I love Sean McVay.
23:13I think Stafford has a big game.
23:15That Raider defense has been torched in the last few weeks.
23:19So I'll lay the four and a half here with the LA Rams.
23:22Now, I know you.
23:23We've been friends, co-workers, colleagues for a long time.
23:27You love revenge.
23:29You absolutely hold a grudge.
23:32You will not forget a thing if anyone ever wronged you in any way, shape or form.
23:37Well, that is a backdrop.
23:39It's the Kenneth Walker revenge game.
23:42Seahawks at home favored by two and a half points facing Kenneth Walker and the Chiefs.
23:47Take your pick.
23:48Well, I'm Ryan with Kenneth Walker.
23:50And it's it's revenge.
23:52The theme, Sam Darnold.
23:54He wronged me.
23:56I was ejected.
23:57I didn't want to see it.
23:58I don't root for people's success.
24:00I don't want to see Sam Darnold do well with somebody else.
24:03I want to see him do well for me.
24:05And he didn't do that.
24:06And I will hold the grudge.
24:07You know what?
24:07All of a sudden, Sam IM is back to being the Sam Darnold who he was with the Jets.
24:12That's the real Sam Darnold.
24:14Please stand up.
24:15And he's doing it right now.
24:16Throwing picks in overtime feels like my guy is back.
24:20So because he wronged me, I'll continue to wrong him.
24:23We'll ride Kenneth Walker and the Kansas City Chiefs.
24:27I got to tell you, you make me sick.
24:29And by you, I mean you, but really Jets fans.
24:33Yeah.
24:33Because all of a sudden it's, oh, Sam Darnold throwing interceptions.
24:37You know, Vikings fluke, Super Bowl fluke.
24:40Now I want revenge.
24:42Sam, get it for you.
24:43I want him to say in the post-game news conference, you know what?
24:47Take that Mike Babchick.
24:48That's what I want.
24:50Darnold's going to protect the ball.
24:52Zach Charbonnet, who replaced Kenneth Walker,
24:55finally going to make his season debut this week.
24:58I am going to take the Seahawks to win and cover.
25:03That'll be Sam Darnold and the Seahawks revenge for you.
25:07And finally, the Minnesota Vikings.
25:10They're favored by six and a half points.
25:12Take it on at home, your Indianapolis Colts.
25:16Yeah.
25:17You know, I want to root against the Colts too as a Jets fan,
25:20because we all know if the Colts are bad, the Jets get a higher pick,
25:23but they just let go of their GM.
25:26Bye-bye.
25:26See you later.
25:27Thanks for playing our game.
25:28They just, you know, they're thinking about the coach right now,
25:31and they're probably going to make a move on him before the end of the season.
25:35Everything screams you've got to roll with the Vikings.
25:36And I like Kyler Murray.
25:37You know why?
25:38Because he's short.
25:39And I'm short.
25:40And the shorts stick together.
25:43But this is one of these games where it almost is, again, too obvious.
25:46The Vikings, oh, see, of course you're going to win by a touchdown.
25:49The Colts are terrible.
25:50You know, the owner with that clipboard, she's going to take over.
25:53I don't know what she's writing on there.
25:54She's going to write something special.
25:55The Colts, Jonathan Taylor is the best guy in the field.
25:58I will ride them to at least cover this spread.
26:01I don't want Kyler Murray to have a bad game, though.
26:03I mean, me looking at him, the little guys, the little guys.
26:06We're sick of being bullied.
26:07So have a good game, but don't cover.
26:09And that's why I'm rolling with the Colts.
26:11Listen, I'm surprised because you know that Justin Jefferson is a huge fan of mine,
26:17huge fan of yours, listens to Babs and the Boss every single morning.
26:21Yay.
26:22I'm rolling with the Minnesota Vikings.
26:24I think the Colts are a dead team walking.
26:26I agree with your take.
26:27It's a brilliant one.
26:28You always have great observations on the genius of Jonathan Taylor.
26:32But I just think Brian Flores and his defense is just absolutely too much.
26:38It's fantastic.
26:38I don't trust Daniel Jones as far as I can throw him.
26:42So I'm going to lay the six and a half with the Minnesota Vikings.
26:46Babs, you're the absolute best.
26:48We appreciate it.
26:49Congrats on all your success.
26:51The number one sports radio morning show host, according to Barrett Sports Media.
26:57Babs and the Boss weekdays 6 to 9 Eastern on Man Dog Sports Radio.
27:01Keep up the outstanding work and we'll be listening on Monday morning.
27:06Oh, thanks so much, Sean.
27:07I have no idea what happens if I beat you in the picks or if you beat me.
27:11Apparently we were playing for nothing, which bothers me greatly.
27:15Do you want to play for something?
27:17We got to play for something.
27:18You want to play for, I mean, we live in the same town.
27:20You want to play for brunch?
27:22You want to play for dinner?
27:24You want to play for a beer?
27:26You know what?
27:27How about a beer and then the diner or either or.
27:30We have a diner near us that serves the beer with the omelets.
27:33We could do that.
27:34I could have breakfast and brunch all in the same meal.
27:37It's on.
27:37If I win, it's on you.
27:40That's what makes him the best morning radio host for sports in all of sports radio.
27:46Thank you, Sean.
27:47And right back at you.
27:48I am absolutely obsessed with the New Jersey Devils trading for Connor Hellebuck.
27:55This is a phenomenal trade.
27:57You could easily make the case that the Team USA legend, the best goalie in hockey.
28:04He demanded a trade.
28:05And honestly, I know he signed the contract.
28:08In theory, you should honor it.
28:10But this is what happens, and it happened with Brady Kachuk, when you are playing for
28:15a team in Canada, and you just won a gold against Canada for Team USA.
28:22So I think it was an untenable situation.
28:25And the Devils, to their credit, they pounce.
28:29This is not a good trade.
28:30This is a phenomenal trade.
28:32This is a difference-making trade.
28:34This is a playoff kind of trade.
28:36This is Jack Hughes and Hellebuck together forever kind of trade.
28:41If you're a fan of the Devils, you gotta love sports.
28:46That's the show.
28:47If you missed any portion of the show, just do what I do.
28:50We watched the show over and over and over again.
