00:00I think our mission hasn't really changed. It's to provide for the financial security of our members.
00:09So there's no need to give a marching order. It's really to be true to our commitment.
00:16We know our mission. We have the structures in place to carry it out.
00:22And as I said, our financial position is the strongest it's ever been.
00:26The exact number is $160 billion in net income. Is that right?
00:32$160 billion in net income.
00:36We have about one, this is N25, about $1.4 trillion in assets.
00:45We have a fund fact sheet, $1.4 trillion in assets.
00:50The best proof really of our financial health is our ability to give more benefits.
00:55So we increased our pension by 10% last year, we've increased it 10% this year, and we're increasing
01:02it 10% next year.
01:04So this is something real that our pensioners can look forward to.
01:10We have no power over this. That power is given to Congress.
01:14Now, with the money that we have, we invested it prudently.
01:18I think that's a thing that we have to remember.
01:20We invested it prudently, and because of that, we can give.
01:23And that was a one-time thing, the pension increase, but as the contribution increase,
01:29but pensions increases will be here to stay.
01:33After the first 10%, it will remain at that elevated level until we decide to increase it again.
