00:05data analytics in the entire world.
00:12Now, I know what you're thinking, Alex, we have your YouTube channel. That is the best place to learn data

00:18And I don't disagree, but there actually is one better place.
00:22Several years ago, I created Analyst Builder, which hosts all of my courses and allows you to practice SQL and
00:27Python.
00:28Over the years, I've released a ton of courses and the platform has gotten a lot better.
00:32And we just released a huge upgrade.

00:43A ton of people want the foundations of statistics, but not a lot of places actually cover it.

01:08This is our flagship roadmap.
01:10That was our first roadmap we ever created.
01:12But now we have a roadmap for analytics engineering, business intelligence, and advanced data analysis.
01:18Let's come down to the Advanced Data Analyst Roadmap.
01:20This one covers advanced MySQL, so we jump right into the advanced stuff.
01:25We don't cover the things that were in the original Data Analyst Roadmap.
01:29This goes beyond that.
01:30So we have advanced Excel for automation, Microsoft Power BI, Git and GitHub, Azure and AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, AI, Soft
01:39Skills, and that is it.
01:41And so it's going to cover a ton of things that are going to help you level up your career.
01:44These are not just the basics.
01:46These are a lot more the advanced concepts that are needed to really get into the senior level roles.
01:50If we come over to this questions page, we made some big upgrades on both our technical and our general
01:56technical questions.
01:58Now, if you have any type of interview coming up, you're going to want to check this out.
02:01These are the types of questions that you're going to get asked in almost any of your interviews.
02:06And this is a way to actually practice and be ready for those interviews.
02:09Let's come into this question.
02:10This is an easy question, of course, but it says,
02:13When your to-do list has more on it and you can realistically get to, walk me through how you
02:18decide what actually gets your attention.
02:20This is the type of question that you're going to be asked in an interview because they want to see
02:23how you handle these increasing workloads.
02:26And you're going to come down here and you can either type it out or you can talk it out.
02:29And that's the one I prefer.
02:30And then you're going to get feedback on your answer immediately.
02:33Now, I typed out this really simple answer for this question.
02:36And let's just check my answer.
02:38Overall, this is pretty good.
02:39I could have gone a little bit more in-depth and it's going to give me some feedback as well.
02:44But this is how you practice for those actual interview questions, especially if you haven't been through that process before.
02:49A lot of these questions are going to be completely new to you.
02:52If we come back, let's go up to our technical questions.
02:55Now, in almost any data analyst job and a lot of just other data jobs, even like data scientist, data
03:00engineer, sometimes even a business analyst role,
03:03they're going to have you do some type of technical interview.
03:06Now, let's come down here and let's just go to an easy question.
03:09When you get into these technical interviews, they're going to ask you questions like this.
03:13And you're going to need to know how to code and actually write it out and walk through your logic.
03:18Now, some of the upgrades that we've made over time is you can actually code in multiple languages at the
03:23same time now.
03:24So if you want to do Python here, R here, PostgreSQL over here, you can try out and you can
03:30practice this in a ton of different languages at the same time.
03:33We've made this interface feel really simple and natural.
03:36If you come over here and click on this, it's going to populate this just like it would in like
03:40a MySQL database or a PostgreSQL database.
03:42A big upgrade that we've had and that we've just kind of improved over time is we now have this
03:48AI called Alex.
03:50Of course, that's me, but in a cute Fox form.
03:53Alex not only knows what you're doing in here, but it can also connect you to almost any other part
03:58of the website.
03:58And so if you need to explain things or to debug your code, or if you just want to have
04:03it quiz you on, you know, whatever topic you're working on, it can do that.
04:06And so that's a huge upgrade to the platform that he can help with almost anything you need within Analyst
04:11Builder.
04:11We've also made some big upgrades to the dashboard.
04:13Once you log in, this becomes your hub where every time you log in, it comes straight here.
04:19So you don't have to click around anymore.
04:22Now, you can go to all of your roadmaps right here as you're following them.
04:26You also can look at your history and kind of see, am I being consistent over time?
04:31Now, I'm not learning as much on the platform because I created almost all the content on here.
04:35But if you're actively learning, you're going to see everything right here.
04:38You can also pick up from any of your previous courses, any of your previous questions, and check out all
04:44the things that you've bookmarked and all the things that you are interested in right on your dashboard.
04:49We have also added a ton of projects, and these are all free, by the way.
04:53So you can come in here, and anybody can take these, and you can come through, and you can start
04:57these different projects.
04:58And they cover a lot of different domains, and they cover a lot of different levels, with some of them
05:03being beginner, some of them are intermediate, and some are going to be more advanced.
05:07With that being said, go and check it out.
05:09There are a ton of free questions to take on the general technical questions as well as the technical questions.
05:14All the projects are free, so even if you don't want to sign up for the actual paid part of
05:19the platform, there's a ton of great free resources on this platform.
