00:00All right, next up, I'm so excited to announce that, uh, oh yes, I am hosting the Pillsbury Bake Off.
00:08Yes!
00:08It's so fun.
00:10I'm so excited.
00:11Well, it's, listen, I see the way people respond to baking shows, and they're just looking for something warm and
00:20delicious.
00:21And then I have this, like, personal connection to Pillsbury.
00:24Okay, so this is a primetime special, um, and the best bakers in America are going to face off for
00:31five rounds of competition with, uh, celebrity judges.
00:35Just Christina Tosi, who, like, is literally one of the most famous pastry chefs, arms up planet, and Duke Chase.
00:43Um, and then there's a prize of $25,000, but this, for me, the reason I wanted to do it
00:50was because when I was a kid,
00:52I did, I did a Pillsbury commercial.
00:55You did.
00:56I did.
00:56I did.
00:58Do you remember it?
00:59I remember it so well, like it was yesterday.
01:03How old were you?
01:04I think I was three.
01:05Whoa!
01:06Um, well, take a look.
01:08Oh, baby, I wish I knew some magic.
01:12Bake the magic.
01:14Open the door to a wonderful show.
01:17With Pillsbury chocolate chip cookies.
01:19Bake the magic a poppin' fresh dough.
01:21Hot chocolate chips have a magical way.
01:25They can even make you smile on a cold, rainy day.
01:28That's faking things better.
01:30You can make magic, you know.
01:32We did.
01:33With the magic a poppin' fresh dough.
01:36Oh, that is so fun.
01:39I mean, Val and I, we have been working our whole lives.
01:46Yeah.
01:47It's like, that is it.
01:48I worked.
01:49And I remember that commercial so well.
01:51I remember filming it, yeah.
01:53I remember they gave us extra rolls on the drive home, and I'd been eating cookies all day.
01:57So we were like, oh, yay!
01:59You know, cookies!
02:00You know, and I, like, drove home with my single mom and her, like, beat-up Volkswagen Carmen Ghia.
02:06Wow.
02:06And we were just, like, laughing at the sweetness and the purity of the commercial.
02:10We just had such a different dynamic than this sweet, innocent mother-daughter dynamic.
02:16Sure, sure.
02:25And I just remember it so fondly that I was like, I would love to do this.
02:30It's been, oh, God, 49 years?
02:3448 years?
02:36Wow.
02:37So, since that commercial.
02:38So, yeah, let's do this.
02:39Pillsbury Bake Off.
02:41He's starting to check it out.
02:41Yeah.
02:42Everyone, make sure to watch Drew hosting the Pillsbury Bake Off concert Monday, November 23rd at 8 p.m. on

02:52Obviously, I believe in the product.
