The undefeated 49ers are coming into town. Are they walking into a trap game?
Transcript
00:00They are a Dallas Cowboy, probably New England Patriot, San Francisco 49er, just like elite, you know, multiple Super Bowl
00:09winners.
00:10So that's all well and good.
00:11They're also 6-0.
00:13They also have the best quarterback so far this year there in Brock Purdy.
00:17So they have a million things going for them.
00:19Why then, we ask, is it a two and a half point spread?
00:22The Atlanta Falcons have had two good games this year.
00:24Two good games, both on the road, both against, one against a New Orleans team, not very good.
00:30Green Bay team looks good, 4-2.
00:32Other than that, we had a backup, lost two straight.
00:35Michael Penix came home at 2-2 and has not delivered.
00:40Michael Penix came home with two home games, lost them both.
00:43One of them, he didn't make it out to overtime, and two, he throws the pick.
00:45Last week, he just wasn't good until the end.
00:47So why is a 2-4 team only getting two and a half points?
00:51Because it is the ultimate trap game.
00:54Because they're flying across the country after playing on Monday Night Football.
00:59Because they have injuries.
01:01Because nobody's going undefeated in the NFL.
01:04And how many games can the Falcons keep losing at home?
01:07I know you're saying you don't care about any of that.
01:10You look at talent on both sides, and you say the 49ers are just in a way better place.
01:15So you're telling me you don't think that the 49ers can win 27-24?
01:20I'm all Falcon.
01:22But at 27-24, they're out of town and cover.
01:25So you're saying, cut it the last two weeks.
