Elowen Maeve is a hardscrabble Brooklyn diner waitress, just trying to keep her family’s tiny pancake shop afloat—until four men in black suits show up with a bombshell: she is Seraphina Ashworth, the long-lost granddaughter and rightful heir to the multi-billion-dollar Ashworth Group.
Thrust into a gilded Manhattan mansion she never wanted, Elowen is immediately dismissed by Kaelen Voss, the icy, sharp-witted heir apparent who writes her off as a greedy street kid.
