00:00I walk out of the street fight movie smiling and frustrated at the exact same time because this
00:08movie does one thing so beautifully and one thing so badly that I still cannot decide if I loved it
00:16or hate it. And here's the strange part. The best moments in this live action movie are not live
00:23action. I'm going to walk out something related to movies that will surprise you. Stay with me because
00:31at the end I will give you my final score and I really want to hear yours.
00:46Hey everyone, welcome back. If you are new here, I review movies like I'm talking to a friend,
00:53no big wars, just honest feelings. Today it's a street fight. You know the game. Maybe you played
01:01it at an accurate. Maybe you fought your brother over the controller. And maybe like me you were
01:08burned by the old movies. So I didn't need perfect. I just wanted one thing. Make me feel like a
01:17kid
01:17again. Did it? Let's find out. It all begins in 1987. Ryu wins the very first world warrior tournament.
01:27But a dark power follows him home. And that darkness leads to a tragedy that tears apart to best friends
01:35Ryu and Kin. Years pass. Kin becomes a loud famous party boy. Ryu disappears. Then in 1993,
01:45the villain M. Bizon announces a brand new tournament. Everyone thinks it's for glory.
01:51It's not. Bizon wants something far darker. And Ryu is right at the center of it.
01:58Let's start with the good. Because there is real good here. First, the heart of the movie. Ryu and
02:06Ken. Ryu is claimed quiet, carrying a storm inside. Ken is loud, restless, hiding his heart behind jokes.
02:15And when these two clash, the movie comes alive. Fast, funny, full of personality. And by the end,
02:22you do not just see two fighters. You see two brothers. And that hit me harder than I expected.
02:30Now remember the surprise I promised. Here's it is. The best scenes in the movie are animate ones.
02:38The opening. The flashbacks. They're stylish, emotional, beautiful. I was sitting there thinking.
02:45Why isn't the whole movie like this? When the cartoon is better than the live action. That tells you
02:51something. And one more thing. You can feel the love for the game. The famous movie,
02:57The Music Chaos. When a signature movie happened. People in the theater clap. And I caught myself
03:05smiling. Because for a new second. We are all kids again. Now let's talk about the pain. First,
03:13the tournament. This is a street fighter movie. The tournament is whole point. And you barely see it.
03:21Fighters happen off screen. A voice just tell you who on. It's like going to a concert. And the singer
03:29says,
03:30It was amazing. You should have been there. Second, the characters. Julie Janjiv's Vega Blanca. Fan
03:37favorites. And they get a scene. Maybe two. And vanish. You wait for their big moment. It never comes.
03:45Third, vision. David Dust Malchain is a fantastic actor. But the vision never fully worked for me.
03:52Some jokes land flat. And when you echo a famous line from the old movie. People will compare.
03:59That's a heavy fight to pick. And finally the ending. Just when the story is about explode. It stops.
04:08It feels like watching half a movie. So is it bad? No. It's messy. But it's a fun messy. The
04:16kind you enjoy.
04:17With friends, popcorn and zero expectations. The action is exciting. The brotherhood has hurt. The
04:25animation is stunning. But it could have been a knockout. Instead. It's a very good first round.
04:32My final score for street fight is 3 out of 5. Fun float full of heart. Now it's your turn.
04:40If you
04:40have been seen it. What would you rate street fight out of 5? A perfect 5? A solid 3? Or
04:47a give me my
04:48ticket money back one? Tell me in the comments. I read every single one. And if you enjoyed this review,
04:54like the video and subscribe. I will see you in the next one. Bye-bye.
