00:10You have been involved with TOC for almost four decades, which places you among the early generation of practitioners who
00:19helped carry TOC from its formative years into sustained industrial application.
00:24Your journey with TOC began in 1986 and you joined Creative Output France and worked directly with Ali Goldratt.
00:34You have contributed to bringing the goal to a French audience and in 1994 you published
00:41The Management par les Contents en Gestion Industrielle, an early practical French language guide to implementing the ideas introduced through
00:50the goal.
00:53You have held senior manufacturing operations consulting roles and then founded Marist Consulting in Paris in 2005, creating a specialist
01:03practice focused on TOC, CCPM, lean and industrial transformation.
01:11Together with your company Marist Consulting, you have since applied these methods across hundreds of organizations in over 30 countries.
01:20Clients have included Air France, ArcelorMittal, Ariane Group, Embraer, GSK, McDonald's, Safran, Siemens, SKF and Thales.
01:31Your particular contribution has been the practical integration of TOC with lean.
01:39The central argument that you are putting forward is that TOC identifies where improvement will materially affect the whole system
01:47while lean provides practical methods for improving flow and eliminating waste at that point.
01:54And this is something that has helped make TOC accessible within organizations where lean was already established.
02:04Your contribution extends beyond consulting.
02:08You have taught, written, presented and shared your experience through our international conferences, webinars, TOCPA events, articles, interviews, trainings, videos,
02:19etc.
02:21You have created an extensive public library of videos, client experiences and conversations with leading practitioners through which you are
02:30distributing TOC knowledge beyond those able to attend the conferences or able to engage consultants.
02:40You remain active in the international community and you continue to apply TOC to contemporary industrial problems across manufacturing, process
02:50industries and project environments.
02:54The case for recognizing you does not only rest on one implementation or publication but on the continuity of your
03:03contribution.
03:04Early involvement with ELE Gottweit, almost 40 years of practical application, the development of TOC capability across many organizations and
03:13countries and a sustained commitment to teaching and to sharing what you have learned.
03:20Taken together, this represents a substantial and lasting contribution to the practice, reach and continue relevance of the TOC.
03:36If you want, you can say one or two words.
03:40In French?
03:41Yes.
03:42Oui.
03:43Merci beaucoup.
03:47I don't know.
03:48I don't know what to say.
03:49It's 40 years.
03:52It's been a long, long time.
03:54I had no idea when I joined this, what we would call a start-up today with any cold wraps,
03:58any software, finite capacity stuff.
04:01Uh...
04:02...
04:03...
