00:00.
00:06Serious firepower meets resilient defence.
00:12See Phil Foden and Rico Lewis replace Doku and Gaye.
00:32It's 17th against 20th in the Embryonic League table.
00:36Both clubs on three.
00:38Trying to set up a formidable wall.
00:41Four in it, one behind it.
00:43It will be Enzo Fernandes.
00:44And it's against the bar, and it's in for Elliot Anderson.
00:50His first goal since his big money move from Nottingham Forest.
01:01Diaz.
01:02Cheikh has found space, and now he's found Alain.
01:07Alain goes for goal.
01:09Took a flick off the defender, I think, and then flicked off the bar.
01:13Well, he's been very direct thus far.
01:16No touch of the defender, but certainly...
01:25Lewis at full stretch, but effective with his header to find Anderson.
01:30.
01:30.
01:33Chiaki.
01:35Enzo.
01:37.
01:38Foden.
01:40On to Lewis.
01:43.
01:43And here's Foden!
01:45.
01:45And that is 2-0.
01:48.
01:49Beautifully crafted.
01:51.
01:52And no more than Manchester City deserve.
01:53they have completely dominated proceedings since about the fifth minute.
01:58And Foden, quick to acknowledge the huge role in that goal played
02:03for 35 games prior to Saturday's win here against Ipswich,
02:08has now bagged two in two.
02:12Both knew exactly what the other was going to do here,
02:14and it's a clever, quick finish from Foden.
02:19As the defender came towards him, stretching and lifts it high
02:25with his right boot into the roof of the net,
02:30above the hands of keeper Rignoli.
02:43Manchester City two, Ike Athens nil.
02:50Enzo, Scherchi...
02:51Marin snapping at his ankles, but Scherchi founds the space,
02:55and he gets it back from Enzo,
02:56and tries to beat the goalkeeper at his near post.
03:01Andersen's first for the club,
03:02and then Phil Foden's second in a matter of days.
03:09Heikathen's actually started pretty well,
03:12they were on the front foot for the opening.
03:13He replaces, in fact, it's not...
03:17It's Zina.
03:19So we're back under way.
03:22City two up at the interval.
03:25Manchester City tonight, and it does get much easier.
03:29Two weeks' time.
03:30Real Madrid are in Athens.
03:33There's Floyd Sander on for Alla.
03:40Pilios to carry.
03:42This is Zinni.
03:44And he's away from Hussonov, and Pilios has continued his run.
03:48Real chance here!
03:48And he's buried it.
03:53Terrific start for Aikathens,
03:55and that travelling mass of support have the moment they desired
03:59when they got on the aeroplane back home
04:02and made the journey to England.
04:05Stavros Pilios, the Albanian left-back with a goal.
04:11And this bright start to the second half has got its reward.
04:18Lewis, Sierke.
04:21Lacuti in the way, and then the first-timer from Foden.
04:24He is way off target.
04:30And so, Alain goes down, no suggestion of a foul.
04:36He's screwed it across beautifully.
04:37Foden teeing up Sierke.
04:403-1.
04:49His sixth of the season is a classic Rai Sierke goal.
04:54Of course, there was a dummy thrown in there.
05:00And no sooner had Aikathens begun to believe
05:04they might have a foothold in the game,
05:06they might be able to pull off a remarkable score.
05:11City show their wonderful quality again
05:15and have that two-goal advantage again.
05:20Alain screwing it across here,
05:23and Phil Foden sensibly setting up Ryan Sierke.
05:26He sent Ariaga into next week with the dummy.
05:32out of here, he starts.
05:32And then just calmly picks his spot.
05:35Four, five, four, four.
05:38Four, five, four, five.
05:45Lewis has made the run, and he sets it up perfectly for Foden again!
05:49Four, four, five.
05:52Four, five, four, five.
05:54Four, five, five, four.
05:56to acknowledge the huge involvement of Rico Lewis in that strike.
06:13Suddenly, Phil Foden cannot stop scoring goals.
06:1735 games without one.
06:21Zhukov, Zinni.
06:26So many forward here for Ike Athens, it's Zubkov.
06:34O'Donoghue's pass was a shocker.
06:36Musnov might feel now he would have been better off letting it go out of play.
06:39As Koita has the shot, it'll spin out as far as Zubkov.
06:45O'Donoghue grabs it because he would have taken a huge portion of the blame
06:49had Ike Athens scored from that situation.
06:56What was.
07:04.
07:28Yes, didn't look at school comfortable there.
07:35Milvich thought it had actually gone out for a corner, but the throw has been given.
07:45Zinni, Koita, Zinni!
07:50He has been lively, by Donnarumma, but it's a nice link up here between Koita and Zinni.
08:01Now tight to the title last season.
08:10Lewis, involved in two of Manchester City's goals this evening.
08:13Lovely ball through for Pekadu, he can pull it square and Foden can get his hat-trick.
08:26Now that feels good, doesn't it?
08:29A hat-trick for Phil Foden.
08:33Goal drought, what goal drought.
08:34A hat-trick for our number 47, Phil Foden.
08:44As the fire whistle goes, comfortable and then some for Manchester City this evening.
08:52Enzo Mareska's men back to winning ways tonight.
08:55They didn't need the scoring machine that is Serling Haaland.
08:58Phil Foden stepped up to the plate.
08:59There are always stillc hurt us, we got a way around, and a fan of it.
09:00Our flavour incredible enjoy our crew.
