00:00Let's start with Indianapolis and what it means to you that the Colts today, after six weeks of football, has
00:06determined that the GM is the problem, and thus Chris Ballard is out.
00:10This is normally step one of a multiple-step process, but what's your reaction to the Colts firing Chris Ballard
00:17today?
00:17Shane Steichen should have been turning in his key card as well.
00:21Why is he still around?
00:23Wait, you know you're not carrying him after this year.
00:27Right.
00:27If we're cleaning the house, pull out the broom, pull out the vacuum.
00:31Let's get all the dust bunnies out of here, baby.
00:34Like, why is he still around?
00:37I don't, like, you're not going to allow him to go into 2027.
00:41You're not going to allow him to draft another quarterback.
00:43I mean, Peralt, we weren't alone in thinking that it was a bad idea going into a make-or-break
00:51season for a GM and a head coach that you were depending upon a quarterback coming off an Achilles tear.
00:57You are, depending upon a wide receiver coming off a heel surgery who needed even more time, and there's basically
01:06nothing behind him.
01:07You traded two first-round picks for a cornerback, and that looks like a massive overpay.
01:12Say hello, Joey Porter Jr. for waiting.
01:15Just bad move after bad move after bad move, and basically we all knew that coming into this season, the
01:23GM and the head coach were possibly dead men walking, and yet Shane Steichen still is drawing a paycheck as
01:29the time of we are discussing this entire situation.
01:32And I'm not out here saying everybody needs to get fired.
01:35I understand, like, you have families.
01:37You have everything.
01:38Like, these are real people.
01:40But still, you are firing the GM.
01:42The head coach should be gone, gone as well.
01:47One more thing on the Colts, and we'll get to the Eagles.
01:49When you look at the franchise and the direction that they're going to have to go here, how concerned are
01:55you, if you're a Colt fan sitting here today and you're going, all right, so our GM is out, our
02:00head coach is next.
02:02We have an owner who is clearly trying to put her own stamp on everything.
02:08What do you make of the future from a leadership perspective for Indianapolis?
02:13Do you feel confident that they've got the right people in place to make the decisions, or is this a
02:17team that might be wavering here a bit in terms of their direction?
02:21I feel okay about it.
02:23Like, I know that the internet likes to have, you know, their punches and all their opinions about what she
02:31does from a leadership perspective as far as Ursae.
02:35But how is it a bad thing for somebody leading a company, an organization to do two things, immerse themselves
02:45in everything they possibly can to be a better leader, to educate themselves as much as they possibly can, to
02:53be a better leader, to truly understand what's going on in the day-to-day as opposed to being what?
02:59A false symbol, a puppet, not being a leader, just being a symbol head?
03:06Would everybody feel more comfortable if she was doing that?
03:09So, like, I feel okay about it.
03:11Like, this is, I look at what she is doing from a leadership and a company perspective, and I'm all
03:18on board.
03:19Like, if you cannot handle accountability, you shouldn't be in one of these positions of power and decision-making.
03:24If you can't handle somebody not looking over your shoulder, but asking you to justify the things that you're doing
03:30or saying, hey, fine, like, what's going on?
03:33Explain this to me like I'm five.
03:35If you can't do those things in any walk of life, do you truly understand what even the hell you're
03:41doing?
