00:09Two images from Avengers Doomsday are circulating right now, and they tell opposite stories.
00:15One reportedly shows five familiar heroes standing beside Doctor Doom's throne, dressed
00:21in his colors.
00:22The other is a single detail in the corner of a fight scene, something that looks like
00:27the wreckage of a hero who may not survive the movie.
00:30One could change how we see Doom's army, the other could change the future of the X-Men.
00:36Neither is confirmed, but they are not equally shaky, so let's sort out which is which.
00:42Quick thing first, if you haven't subscribed yet, now's the moment.
00:46It's the biggest way to help this channel grow.
00:48Okay, let's get into it.
00:50We'll start with what's actually on screen, because that's the only part we can verify.
00:55Marvel debuted its first full Doomsday trailer at CinemaCon in April, then released it online
01:01on July 20th.
01:02It opens inside a ruined Xavier's school for gifted youngsters.
01:07Patrick Stewart's Professor X looks out a window as something enormous closes in, and
01:12in the reports from that first screening, he looks like a man who already knows how this
01:16ends.
01:17Then comes the fight.
01:18Thor warns the assembled heroes that the friends they've lost died facing enemies far less
01:24terrifying than this one.
01:25Then he leaps and brings Stormbreaker down on Doctor Doom's head.
01:30Doom stops it, barely flinches.
01:32That's the same weapon that took Thanos' head in Endgame, and here, it's a nuisance.
01:38Thor's reaction says everything.
01:40This shouldn't be possible.
01:41What turns the scene around is Chris Evans' Steve Rogers, who answers Thor's call for
01:47a miracle by summoning Mjolnir to his hand.
01:50Now here's where the fans come in.
01:52Some viewers say that in the left corner of that frame, lying in the rubble, is a wheelchair.
01:58Professor X's wheelchair, in what looks like the destroyed X-Mansion.
02:02I want to be clear about this one.
02:04I couldn't find a single outlet independently describing that detail.
02:08It's a fan observation, not a fact.
02:11But it's easy to see why it's spread.
02:14History is the reason.
02:16Across his live-action appearances, Charles Xavier has been killed on screen four times
02:21by one count, and the marketing hasn't exactly been calming nerves.
02:25An earlier X-Men teaser played over the shattered school, while Ian McKellen's Magneto narrated
02:31that death comes for us all.
02:33There's also a rumor with a specific mechanism.
02:36Earlier plot leaks claimed Doom would manipulate Bob Reynolds, the Sentry, letting the void break
02:42loose, and that Xavier would enter Bob's mind to stop it, at the cost of his own life.
02:48A few pieces of that are real.
02:51Louis Pullman's Sentry is confirmed for the film, and insider Alex Perez reported that Xavier
02:56is hesitant to use Sentry's powers, which fits a telepath who's afraid of what lives inside
03:02Bob's head.
03:03But the death itself traces back to leak threads I couldn't corroborate.
03:07A later second-hand report claims the void sequence was cut or changed, with Sentry instead
03:13helping hold back a collision between worlds.
03:16I couldn't verify that either.
03:18So the honest answer?
03:19A wheelchair in rubble isn't a funeral.
03:23Xavier could be injured, separated from the team, or rescued later.
03:27And he's died on screen before, only to return in another version of the timeline.
03:32But Marvel could also be hinting at a heroic farewell in a single background shot.
03:37Be honest.
03:38If this is Patrick Stewart's last stand in the MCU, would you want it in Doomsday,
03:43or carried into Secret Wars?
03:45Tell me in the comments, because I genuinely can't decide.
03:49If this breakdown's been useful so far, a like helps more people find it.
03:53Now, the other image.
03:55The second image is the one with five characters.
03:58It reportedly came from Russian leakers who've posted Doomsday material before.
04:02It's blurry, it's being called concept art, and nobody has authenticated it.
04:07I couldn't find independent confirmation of this specific picture, so treat everything
04:12that follows as unverified.
04:14What it supposedly shows?
04:16Five figures in black and gold inside what looks like Doom's castle, his throne behind
04:22them.
04:22The names attached are Doctor Strange, Clea, Gambit, Vision, and Baron Mordo.
04:28One thing to keep separate.
04:30In March 2025, a Marvel concept artist accidentally uploaded art to ArtStation showing Doom on a
04:37throne with Strange beside him like an advisor.
04:40Joe Russo later said that artwork wasn't from Doomsday or Secret Wars.
04:45Similar composition, different leak.
04:47So it can't be used to back this one up.
04:49Let's take the names in order of how much support they have.
04:53Clea first.
04:54In March, the scooper Majestic underscore UCM said Clea is one of Doom's followers and
05:00that a leaked image of a figure in purple with a golden mask is real.
05:04If true, that finally pays off the end of Multiverse of Madness when Clea pulled Strange away to fix an
05:11incursion he caused.
05:13Neither character has been seen since.
05:15Strange is messier.
05:17Benedict Cumberbatch told Variety he wasn't in Doomsday, then about a week later said he'd gotten that wrong.
05:24His own advice to reporters?
05:26Don't ever believe anything I say.
05:28Meanwhile, alleged promo photos of a masked figure in black Latverian robes have fueled the theory that Strange is the
05:35Doom lieutenant known as Boris.
05:37Though one outlet reports Boris may have been cut.
05:41Gambit is Channing Tatum and he's in the trailer, fighting Shang-Chi at the X-Mansion.
05:46The theory behind this image says he starts on the hero's side and flips in the third act.
05:51Nothing backs that up yet.
05:53And Vision?
05:54Early 2025 concept art featured White Vision.
05:57But I couldn't confirm which version this image shows or whether it's him at all.
06:02Then there's Mordo.
06:04And he's the one that matters.
06:05The Earth-616 Mordo was last seen in the 2016 Doctor Strange post-credits scene, deciding to go after sorcerers
06:13he believed were bending the natural order.
06:16We never saw what came next.
06:18A different version, from Earth-838, was the lone Illuminati member to survive Wanda's attack in Multiverse of Madness.
06:26And the original plan for that movie reportedly had Mordo open it by trying to kill her.
06:31Chiwetel Ejiofor, asked directly about returning, said, we'll see, and joked about wanting a chair.
06:38Marvel hasn't confirmed anything.
06:40Here's how the theory could work.
06:42A man who spent years hunting sorcerers gets approached by someone arguing the multiverse is collapsing and the old system
06:50can't be saved.
06:51Doom offers him the power to finish his mission, plus a role in the world he plans to build.
06:57From Mordo's point of view, that might sound like Order Restored.
07:01Under this theory, Mordo has been working with Doom from the start, while Strange only joins later.
07:06That would be a huge twist, because we've spent years assuming Strange was Doom's connection.
07:13But it's a theory, not a reveal.
07:15And if the image is real, the bigger question is what black and gold actually means.
07:21In the comics, Doom's battle world is divided into domains, each ruled by someone under his authority, and Strange served
07:29as his sheriff.
07:30If the MCU borrows that, these five could be an early look at the Barons of Secret Wars, which arrives
07:36December 17th, 2027.
07:39Other theories have Doom collecting Hulk and Spider-Man, and reports mention Sam Wilson and Gambit as possible members of
07:46his team.
07:47Pair that with earlier plot leaks about heroes splitting into two camps, and Doomsday could play like Civil War 2
07:54.0, except the divide isn't ideology.
07:56It's Doom bending allies into servants, changing their look along the way.
08:01That would explain the costumes.
08:03It would also make the final battle far less predictable than a straight fight against his army.
08:09So, two images.
08:10The wheelchair is a fan's observation with real fear behind it.
08:15The lineup is a blurry leak with a few verified pieces and a lot of guesses.
08:19The one thing we can actually see is Thor swinging a weapon that killed Thanos and watching Doom shrug it
08:26off.
08:27Which suggests that whatever army Doom is building, he may not need it to win.
08:32He may need it to rule.
08:34Now, I want your theories.
08:36Is Mordo already working with Doom while Strange joins late?
08:40And which hero would hurt the most to see in black and gold?
08:44Drop it in the comments.
