00:00Do you remember Mark Sanchez?
00:01USC quarterback, yes.
00:03USC quarterback, New York Jets quarterback.
00:04He actually, he was kind of a bust in the NFL, but he did throw,
00:08I remember the most perfect pass I've ever seen in my life.
00:10Heisman winner.
00:11Was he the Heisman winner?
00:11I think he was the Heisman winner, yes.
00:13Well, by the way, fans, you can fan check us and write on the comments that we're wrong.
00:18He basically had to settle out of court for something that was very serious.
00:21Okay.
00:21Last year, after a game, he's a color commentator for Fox.
00:25And he went home, or he went to the hotel, he drank too much, and
00:29he walked through an alley where there was a big truck that was exchanging vegetable oil.
00:33I guess they do that.
00:34And it was parked in the alley.
00:36Him being drunk, he got all upset that the truck was parked in the alley.
00:39He started screaming at the truck.
00:39Do you know who I am, bro?
00:41That probably happened.
00:42He started screaming at the truck driver.
00:43The truck driver, who was a 60-year-old man, said that Mark Sanchez was slurring, screaming at him,
00:47saying he can't be parked there.
00:48Apparently, maybe he wanted to walk through there, and there was a big truck in the way.
00:51Mark Sanchez entered the cabin of the truck and started attacking the guy.
00:55The guy ended up having to defend himself with a knife,
00:58and he stabbed Mark Sanchez.
00:59There's footage of him walking to the hospital, holding his side, bleeding.
01:03Oh, my God.
01:04But before you feel too sorry for Mark Sanchez,
01:06he's the one that ends up getting arrested for attacking the old man.
01:10And he just settled down.
01:11He was an old man.
01:11It was a 60-year-old man.
01:13What happened?
01:14I mean, have you ever been so drunk in your life that you're just looking for trouble?
01:18No, I'm a chill drunk.
01:20Yeah?
01:20You know, they want to give you a hug and tell you,
01:22I love you, bro, you're so cool.
01:24Yeah, and I don't like beating people up, my friend.
01:27Here's the thing.
01:29I got to go immediately, because I believe in the goodwill of people.
01:33I say, is this something that has to do with brain damage?
01:38Is this something that players, after so many concussions, after so much abuse to their bodies
01:43and their brain, constantly getting that brain impacted to the size of the skull with every
01:49single down, especially quarterback that, you know, they're the prize hunt of the game.
01:54Like, if you're in the defense.
01:55He didn't move around.
01:56No, he got a lot of abuse.
01:58And that's why I feel like that's one of the reasons that he didn't make it on the NFL,
02:02that he had the mobility and he took too much abuse too soon.
02:06Is this a consequence that we see constantly, where there's aggressivity,
02:10where there's lack of impulse control, where there's these certain elements of your behavior
02:16that get affected forever after the game, just after so many impacts?
02:19That could be the case, or he could just be a douchebag.
02:22No, well, I mean, I don't know.
02:25There's other allegations in his past that would reference that second point that he's a douchebag.
02:29But as far as the CTE, we have, there's another example.
02:33Well, he's probably going to end up on Bandido a week later in the season.
02:36But Antonio Brown, who was a receiver.
02:38Yes, yes.
02:38He took a vicious hit about four or five years into his career.
02:42Vicious hit where he was knocked out.
02:44I mean, total concussion.
02:45After that is when he started acting up and started getting crazy.
02:48So a lot of people point, and he actually had to settle,
02:51not to step on our future Bandido of the week,
02:53but he had to settle because he took out a gun and started shooting at a guy
02:56that supposedly was going to rob him or attack him in Miami.
02:59I feel like Antonio Brown is going to be in this segment more than once.
03:01He's going to be in this segment more than once.
03:03We're giving a preview on the market.
03:05There is a history of players, of football players,
03:08that have documented concussions, deep, deep brain damage.
03:13Right.
03:14That has been, you know, certified now by science.
03:17And they have proved to have violent behavior.
03:21Right.
03:21Lack of understanding of how their actions affect their surroundings,
03:25even their own career.
03:26They've been affecting themselves with, you know, and you can appear, like,
03:31things that go the gamut from, like, violent behavior to just erratic behavior
03:37that gets them fired from their TV jokes after they've affected.
03:39Super risky behavior, exactly.
03:40Yeah, yeah, exactly.
03:40No, I mean, I do think it's an issue.
03:42I mean, we know the science.
03:44I mean, people that have, I mean, I always tell my mom,
03:46I think she dropped me on my head when I was a little kid,
03:48because I have, like, a little crack here in the back of the skull.
03:50Oh, and she's like, no.
03:51A little flat spot right here.
03:52She's like getting eyes up.
03:52She has, like, a face.
03:53And I think that it does affect, I mean,
03:55there's science that shows that it affects your behavior.
03:58But as far as, like, you know, Mark Sanchez, you know, it's sad,
04:01because you have everything.
04:02You literally, you had an okay career in the NFL.
04:05You have money.
04:06You're a color commentator.
04:07Basically, you have a dream job.
04:08Everything going on for you.
04:09A dream job.
04:10Yeah, exactly.
04:10But I think, you know, aside from the CTE, it's alcohol.
