00:02 So Joe Ranieri, the premier was there, South Florida, popcorn, red carpet.

00:08 Give me a little bit of a inside look here at what happened last night on

00:11 Hard Knocks.

00:12 >> Well, it was hard, Donny, because as a lifelong Jet fan,

00:18 I have far too many years been so excited right around this time of year,

00:25 only to get to, I don't know, maybe week two or three and realize the season was

00:29 over and start looking forward to the draft.

00:31 So I'm trying to temper the expectations, and

00:35 then all of a sudden they throw hard knocks at us.

00:38 And now we're like, all right, let me take a chill pill here.

00:43 Let me kind of, I'll watch a little bit of it.

00:46 And sure enough, Donny, I'm watching this thing last night, and

00:49 even I, I'm finding myself going, wow, could they possibly do this?

00:53 No, no, no, they can't do it.

00:54 No, maybe the Aaron Rodgers show in episode one was really just about him

01:00 coming to the team, walking into that locker room, into the building.

01:07 They were interviewing all the younger players about how just unbelievably

01:11 excited they are to even be around him.

01:15 And there's nothing pretentious about Aaron.

01:18 Whatever the micro dosing levels are, he's got it down to a pat,

01:22 because he's smiling all the time in this.

01:24 There's no animosity.

01:26 He's working with Zach Wilson.

01:29 They're getting along.

01:31 He's throwing shots.

01:33 He genuinely looks like a dude who's a total piece of where he is

01:39 at this point in his career.

01:40 He loves where he is in this building.

01:43 And all the young guys around him are just, they are so giddy.

01:47 They are so excited to be around him here.

01:49 So it ends right at the Hall of Fame game there, where he's being

01:54 interviewed on the sideline.

01:56 But for the most part, this was all about the Aaron Rodgers coming

02:01 to the New York Jets here.

02:03 And we'll see what week two brings after another, obviously, preseason

02:08 game here, where we'll actually maybe get a chance to see him play.

02:12 But there's no doubt there is a different vibe in that building than

02:17 when Joe Flacco was their starting quarterback.
