00:22The following contest is scheduled for
00:25introducing first, to be accompanied by Lita, from Cameron, North Carolina,
00:31weighing 218 pounds, Jim Hardy.
00:36We certainly want to wish a speedy recovery to Matt Hardy,
00:38who's at home in Cameron, North Carolina.
00:42Recovering from the injuries sustained at the hands of Brock Lesnar last week.
00:57When Matt's doctor examined he thought he might have been in a car accident.
01:01He had bruises literally from the top of his head to his toes, concussed.
01:11All thanks to this animal.
01:17To be accompanied to the ring by Paul Heyman from Minneapolis,
01:22Minnesota, weighing 275 pounds, Brock Lesnar.
01:29They are, Paul Heyman is, he's a legend in his own mouth.
01:34But I'm afraid that this time he's really got something.
01:36I'm afraid he really does have the next big thing here.
01:39This is Brock Lesnar's first official televised match.
01:42And his agent, a pancake sized fever blister on the lips of life.
01:48Paul Heyman on the outside, and Jeff Hardy right in the face of Brock Lesnar.
01:54Lesnar's today in 6'3", maybe 6'4", close to 300 pounds.
01:58You can see the physique on this man.
02:01He was an NCAA Heavyweight Champion,
02:04All-American at the University of Minnesota for wrestling coach Jay Robinson.
02:08And look at the great agility by Lesnar, and Jeff Hardy.
02:13The great agility by Jeff Hardy.
02:14Uh-oh, my God.
02:16And the strength of Lesnar catching Jeff Hardy.
02:18And Hardy dismounted, and ran Lesnar right into the ring post.
02:23That's what Jeff Hardy's gonna have to do.
02:24He's gonna have to stick and move.
02:25He's gonna have to be quicker than Brock Lesnar.
02:27He's gonna have to-
02:28Now Brock Lesnar could be here.
02:31And look at the power of Lesnar, that scary body strength.
02:34And he's just manhandling Jeff Hardy, and Jeff Hardy's a former hardcore,
02:39and a former Intercontinental Champion, a four-time, former tag team champion.
02:43Get away, get out of the ring, you need to stay away, regroup.
02:46Lesnar could fitz press a Volkswagen, you can't match strength with this guy.
02:50But King, more importantly, I think that Lesnar's strength is that he has,
02:54without a doubt, a very pronounced and bonafide beast.
02:58Let go, Roman throw right into the suplex by Brock Lesnar.
03:03And Lesnar is a scary, scary prospect.
03:06That's on your conscience.
03:08Brad is standing, looking at this guy, I mean, he's an awesome sight, believe me.
03:13This audience looking all in awe of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman,
03:17who has had a lot of success in a- Boom.
03:20That's the strengthiest that throws, Jeff, like-
03:22That's scary, I'm telling you.
03:24And Jeff Hardy becoming to a point in this match where he's having a hard time
03:28breathing, you can tell, he's gasping for air here.
03:31And every time he gets a breath of air in those lungs,
03:34it's knocked out of him again by Brock Lesnar.
03:39They come a point in this, that-
03:43My God, Lesnar is holding Jeff Hardy, strength.
03:48The backbreaker driving that knee again into the kidneys.
03:52I've never seen anybody this strong impose his will on another human being in my career.
03:58You see Heyman, he just said, that's for you, Lita.
04:02If Lesnar's gonna break Jeff Hardy in half,
04:05I admire Jeff Hardy for coming to the defense of his own brother,
04:09who's also been debilitated by Lesnar.
04:12Yeah, but they are sometimes, the old saying is right, rules rush in.
04:16It may not have been the smartest thing to do, as you hear Heyman yelling at Lita,
04:20this is all her fault, he's saying.
04:22And look at Jeff Hardy showing great courage, trying to fight back.
04:26Jeff fighting back with everything, he's got every fiber in his name, but what an impact.
04:32I mean, that short Irish whip, the torque of that Irish whip was almost like-
04:38It's like being rear-ended by a car, the whiplash effect.
04:42I think that Jeff may have just made Brock Lesnar angry.
04:46There's not another human being in sports entertainment that can match up and
04:50overpower Brock Lesnar on this day, I can tell you.
04:55And when he gets more experience, how deadly and
04:58how dangerous is this human being gonna be?
05:02And we're seeing his first official finalized match.
05:06I'm sure of many in this young man's future.
05:11And watch out, Hardy hits it, good move, he's gonna cover it.
05:15Roger got taken off his feet, which is a rare occasion.
05:18Right, for the first time, Lesnar is down.
05:21Come on, you gotta capitalize on this.
05:23Another shot, look at that.
05:25Lesnar down again, you have on the left off, it's a Jeff Hardy score.
05:30The high risk hitter, but Darren Dysol, taking his chances, and
05:33there's a low blow there.
05:35This is the first time we're actually seeing pain on the face of Brock Lesnar.
05:39And now Jeff Hardy's got a chance, he's actually got a chance here.
05:42Hit it, Jeff.
05:43The low blow on Lesnar.
05:44He's got it.
05:45The slow time, he's gonna do it, he's gonna do it, my God.
05:50They blow their feet for this.
05:51The low blow of Jeff Hardy, and so can't stop, you can't hesitate.
05:59And now Jeff Hardy- Wait a minute, not that offensive.
06:02He's looking for some retrofusion for his brother, and we've seen this before.
06:07And Lesnar, just overpowered Jeff Hardy.
06:10Brock Lesnar's anatomy.
06:12No, look what's coming.
06:21Don't hit him, hurt him.
06:23Heyman just said Brock, don't hit him, Jeff Hardy, hurt him.
06:28And Lesnar, you can tell with the glow in his eye, a twinkle in Lesnar's eye.
06:33He enjoys hurting people.
06:36All right, you're right about Heyman, he's a sick individual.
06:40Well, this is scary, a powerbomb, and my God, another one.
06:48Brock Lesnar's gonna break this young man in half.
06:51Come on, nothing would please Heyman more than for Brock Lesnar to cripple Jeff Hardy here.
06:57Referee has got to use good judgment here, King, pinfall or not,
07:02you gotta use good judgment in these situations.
07:05You've got an animal imposing his will on another human being that is absolutely defenseless.
07:11That's enough.
07:14We've seen two powerbombs, and Lesnar even getting more momentum,
07:19drilling Jeff Hardy, and Lesnar wants it, and the referee's stopping it.
07:23Hey, he's ready.
07:24Call him for the bell.
07:26I don't blame him.
07:27Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has stopped this contest and
07:31awards the decision to Brock Lesnar.
07:35First it was Matt Hardy, who's home recuperating from a Lesnar attack.
07:40And now it is Jeff Hardy and Lita looking on as helpless as she can.
07:46There's nothing she can do.
07:49And perhaps, ladies and gentlemen, there's nothing anybody can do as it relates to
07:55Brock Lesnar, who could stop that thing, the next big thing.
08:03And the sad part about it is Lesnar's agent, who, I use the word who, agent, is Paul Heyman.
08:12And that's even more repulsive.
08:14Well, I can assure you as far as Heyman is concerned, and as far as the world is concerned,
08:22there may be a day, and that day may be near, it may be here, that Brock Lesnar is untouchable.
08:30Take a look at this again.
08:31Watch this chair was run in the ring by Jeff.
08:34And then, oh.
08:36Brock Lesnar bounced it right off of him.
08:38But then, oh.
08:41It's powerful.
08:43Listen to this, oh.
08:45Take a look at this, watch Jeff Hardy's head here, Paul.
08:48Watch it bounce.
08:50Oh.
08:50Right off the canvas.
08:53And the referee right there stepped in and stopped this match.
08:56It may have been too little too late for Jeff Hardy.
08:58I don't know what kind of damage has been done to him.
09:00The Brock Lesnar is an awesome animal.
09:03Oh, we'll see you next time.
09:03Let's get ready.
09:03I'm going back.
09:04So, hey, let's get ready.
09:05I'm back.
09:05So, hey, let's get ready.
