00:07Back in July, Marvel showed us something that broke the internet.
00:12Thor swung the axe that killed Thanos straight at Dr. Doom's head and Doom
00:16stopped it with two fingers. Now, a new leak claims the next trailer goes even
00:22further. Cyclops, one of the strongest X-Men, reportedly fires every ounce of
00:28power he has at Doom and Doom reportedly blocks it with one hand. But that isn't
00:33the biggest part of this leak. The biggest part is a scene that could explain why
00:38Doom might hate one specific Avenger more than all the others combined. Let's
00:43start with what's confirmed because it makes the rumor hit so much harder. On
00:48July 20th, 2026, Marvel released the first full trailer for Avengers Doomsday.
00:53It ran 2 minutes and 25 seconds. Robert Downey Jr., the man who spent a decade as
01:00Iron Man, finally appeared as Victor Von Doom, and the trailer gave us our first
01:05look at his armor and mask. Then came the moment everybody talked about. Thor, played
01:11by Chris Hemsworth, charged at Doom with Stormbreaker. Most breakdowns describe Doom
01:16stopping the blow with just two fingers, and a few describe it as a single raised hand.
01:21Either way, the symbolism was brutal. Stormbreaker was forged in Infinity War for
01:27one purpose, killing Thanos. In that film, Thor famously buried it in Thanos' chest
01:34instead of going for the head, and the Mad Titan never let him forget it. The same
01:39weapon took Thanos' head in Endgame. Now, it was getting stopped like a nuisance. A later,
01:45special look teaser pushed it further. It was shown privately to Hall H attendees at San Diego
01:51Comic-Con, then publicly at D23 in August. In that footage, Doom flings Stormbreaker aside
01:58and sends Thor flying. Then, he calls forth an army of magic-powered sentinels and delivers
02:05a line that sent chills through the fandom. Hell answers to me. So, the message was already
02:12clear. Doom is not a normal villain. And that's the backdrop for what we're about to get into.
02:18Now, here's where we enter rumor territory, and I want to be clear about that. According to a
02:24scooper who goes by Project Hurts, the next major Doomsday trailer could arrive as early as October
02:3022nd or 23rd. That's a Thursday or Friday, and it's next week. This is still unconfirmed, so take it with
02:38a
02:38grain of salt, but the timing isn't crazy. The film opens December 18th, which puts us about two months
02:46out, the window where a studio usually drops its biggest trailer. The same leaker also claims to have a
02:52description of the trailer, but only half of it. Whatever happens in the other half, nobody outside
02:58Marvel knows. Here's what that half reportedly contains. It opens on Reed Richards and Johnny Storm,
03:05the Fantastic Four's leader and the Human Torch, in some action stunts. Then, Doom unleashes a massive
03:12explosion that could wipe out an entire universe. And that detail matters, because there's a rumor
03:18that this is the X-Men's universe. The theory is that Doom uses the Ultimate Nullifier, a cosmic weapon
03:25from the comics, to erase their world. Keep that in mind, because it connects to the scene everyone is
03:31talking about. Next in the description, we reportedly see Boris standing alongside three
03:36Latverian witches. Latveria is Doom's home country, a small fictional European nation he rules with an
03:44iron fist. And then comes the moment that has fans losing it. Cyclops reportedly removes his visor.
03:52That alone is a big deal, because the visor is the only thing keeping his optic blasts under control.
03:58He unleashes everything he's got in a full power strike at Doom. And Doom reportedly blocks the entire
04:05beam with his hand. Think about that for a second. In July, Doom stopped a God's weapon. Now he's
04:12reportedly stopping the full force of a mutant who can level mountains. If this scene is real, it tells
04:19the audience that these heroes aren't just outmatched individually. They're outmatched in a way that
04:24forces them to work together. And that tracks with the premise. In Doomsday, the Avengers, the Wakandans,
04:31the New Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men all converge from different universes to face Doom as the
04:38multiverse collapses. There's also a rumor about the lineup for the fight. Remember Endgame, when Iron Man,
04:45Captain America, and Thor stood against Thanos? The rumor says the new version could feature Cyclops,
04:51Captain America, and Thor against Doom. It's an echo, but with the X-Men now in the mix. Quick pause.
04:59If you're
04:59enjoying this breakdown, hit that like button. It really helps these videos reach more Marvel fans, and I
05:05appreciate every single one. Now, the scene I find most interesting isn't an explosion at all. It's a
05:12conversation. The leak says Steve Rogers will reportedly share dialogue with Doom. And if the theories are
05:19right, that conversation could be incredibly personal. Here's the background. At the end of Endgame,
05:26Steve Rogers returned the Infinity Stones to the past. Then he stayed there in the 1940s to live his life
05:33with
05:33Peggy Carter. It was one of the most beloved endings in the franchise. But one popular theory suggests that
05:40decision might have consequences. The idea is that Steve staying in the past contributed to the chain of events
05:47that led to the multiversal incursions. And those incursions are tied, in the theory, to the destruction of Doom's
05:54family. That's a theory, not a confirmed plot point. But if it's true, Doom wouldn't see Steve as just another
06:01Avenger.
06:01He'd see him as the man whose choice indirectly cost him everything.
06:06Steve's return is confirmed, by the way. Chris Evans appears in the July trailer,
06:11reuniting with Thor and reaching for Mjolnir. Thor's reaction is basically, that's not possible.
06:17And there's another thread. Leaked images have reportedly shown Steve chained inside a prison.
06:24Nearly two years ago, concept art for the film reportedly leaked, showing a long-haired figure
06:29in chains. At the time, plenty of fans assumed that figure was Sentry. Now, some think it could be Steve.
06:37If those pieces connect, it suggests Doom captures Steve and holds him prisoner.
06:42That would turn the whole story from a hero vs villain fight into something much more emotional.
06:48So, here's a question. Be honest. Do you think Doom has a legitimate reason to blame Steve? Or is this
06:55just a fan theory stretching things too far?
06:58Drop your answer in the comments, because I really want to see where you land.
07:01The leaked description also includes a new Loki scene. In both official trailers, we've seen the same shot of Loki
07:09inside Steve Rogers' house. According to this rumor, the new trailer shows something different.
07:15Loki staring at something with real fear in his eyes. A Loki who's genuinely terrified is a bad sign for
07:22everyone,
07:23because this is the god of mischief. He survived Thanos, Hela, and the end of his own timeline.
07:30Then there's Doom walking furiously through his castle while an epic score builds in the background.
07:36The rumor compares the music to Infinity War, but darker. And that fits the pattern.
07:42Across the four teasers from December 2025 and the two major releases since, Marvel has kept a serious, almost funeral
07:50tone.
07:51Then comes another Thor and Doom fight. This one is described as the most brutal one-on-one in MCU
07:58history, with new footage we haven't seen.
08:01Marvel insider James Mack has already said the final trailer is absolutely amazing, and has described it as one of
08:08the most epic trailers of all time.
08:11Of course, insider hype is not the same as proof. Magneto is also reportedly in the trailer, in action.
08:18Now, why does this trailer matter so much? Because the stakes for this movie are huge.
08:24Doomsday opens December 18th, 2026, on the same day as Dune Part 3, which sets up a head-to-head
08:32box office showdown.
08:33The Russo brothers, who made Infinity War and Endgame, are back as directors.
08:38And a second film, Avengers Secret Wars, follows on December 17th, 2027.
08:45Between the two, they're meant to close out this entire era of the franchise.
08:49That's a lot of pressure.
08:51And it explains why the marketing has been so carefully controlled, and why Marvel has fought so hard against leaks
08:58since the first teasers surfaced online.
09:00Remember, the leaker only claims to know half the trailer. So, what's in the other half?
09:06Some fans are hoping for a glimpse of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man fighting Wolverine.
09:12That's pure speculation, but it would be a massive moment.
09:16Others are hoping for Sentry, one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe.
09:21Even a few seconds of him would raise the hype.
09:24And one more thing. Some people are calling this the final trailer, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the last
09:31footage we'll see.
09:32TV spots, clips, and late night previews are all still possible.
09:37It's more likely to be the final major trailer before release.
09:41So, let's recap where we stand.
09:44Doom is terrifyingly powerful.
09:46The July trailer proved it. And Steve Rogers is back.
09:50Rumored, a trailer next week, a Cyclops showdown, a terrified Loki, and a personal confrontation between Steve and Doom.
09:59If even half of that is real, this might be the moment the story stops being a crossover and starts
10:05feeling like an event.
10:07Before you go, one last question.
10:09Out of everything in this leak, which scene are you most excited for?
10:13The Cyclops blast, Loki's new scene, or Steve facing Doom?
10:17Tell me in the comments. I read them.
