00:09PH Communications Director Fahmi Fazil said the Coalition's Presidential Council had not discussed the matter,
00:16although he acknowledged Adli's experience.
00:19Speaking at a press conference after a Digital National Berhad event,
00:23Fahmi declined to say whether PH had finalised cooperation with Bersatu for the state polls,
00:28referring the question to PH's Election Director, Amiruddin Zahari.
00:33Earlier, Amanah Deputy Chief Hayatul Kamil had proposed Adli,
00:37who is also Amanah Vice President, as PH's poster boy.
00:41Hayatul cited Adli's experience as Melaka Chief Minister and Deputy Defence Minister since December 2022,
00:48saying it gave him an advantage in governance over other PH leaders.
00:52However, former DAP MP Ong Kian Ming projected that Barista National could increase its seat tally
00:59to 24 or 25 in the state polls.
01:02Ong said BN could take one or two seats from PH,
01:06including Adli's Bukit Katil constituency and the DAP stronghold of Ayakaroh.
