Lions at the Waterhole: Meg and Amy on GoPro | Wildlife Video

Kevin Richardson films his lions Meg and Amy at the waterhole with GoPro cameras, bringing viewers as close as possible to these big cats. Meg stops to quench her thirst, while Amy seems far less interested in the water. The result is a quiet, close-up wildlife moment that captures natural lion behavior in a sanctuary setting.

Created around the work of The Lion Whisperer, this footage reflects Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary’s mission to raise awareness about African carnivores and the threats they face, including habitat loss, human-predator conflict, hunting, disease, and illegal trade. It is both an intimate animal clip and part of a larger conservation message focused on education and land acquisition.

For anyone searching for lion videos, wildlife sanctuary footage, GoPro animal filming, African wildlife conservation, or close-up big cat content, this short nature clip offers a direct look at lions by the waterhole. It also suits viewers interested in animal behaviour, conservation documentaries, and relaxing wildlife viewing.
