01:55ages ago i feel like um we went to a couple concerts at pine knob this year they're all
02:00throwback concerts that we went to but um and i see it pretty much at every concert i go to

02:05just sparked like a conversation between colin and i like what would we do so i was curious like
02:11what your thoughts are on this there was um late in the night i was looking i'm like what what

02:18over there these little lights right like i could see lights flashing near the ground and i got closer
02:23and i realized it was this adorable little girl probably with the light up shoes yeah she was
02:28probably one one and a half i mean she had to hold on to somebody's hand to walk so she

02:33freely running around so she was pretty small walking she had little pigtails in with her light
02:39up shoes and i thought oh man that's a little girl at a not a kid concert right like
02:48an adult concert sure but there's certain adult concerts that are more kid friendly than others
02:53i think personally but i was surprised to see a toddler at a concert like wu-tang clan
03:03and i thought gosh would i ever bring my toddler to a concert like this probably not my opinions have
03:10changed on where to bring kids now that i have kids when i didn't have kids it was so easy

03:14like i can't believe they brought their kid here like what are they doing and now i'm like okay yes
03:18you need to get out of the house the kids need to get out of the house they can experience

03:28adult concerts um i think the venue matters a lot and obviously a pine knob can be a little more
03:36kid friendly than going to a concert at you know fort field or the lca um and so like if

03:45sitting on the lawn um they can be running around and kids kids don't obviously at one one and a

03:54two whatever they're not going to understand the words oh no they just want to feel the beat like
03:58that might be the most amazing thing for the kids and teddy will dance to literally anything with
04:03the good beat yeah this unfortunately was not a great wasn't a concert okay the concert was well
04:10but but the the expectations were that it was going to be good right that's why you go and maybe

04:15it was good or not i think is is somewhat irrelevant um but in terms of a concert like that
04:21now maybe it's
04:24the you don't want them in in a crowd that a a concert necessarily would bring
04:31maybe if it's gonna be a little more ruckus there's lots of things i thought but i also think
04:35that baby have a bedtime and once you have kids sometimes you can't do all the things you used
04:41to do when you didn't have kids and you might have to say no to going to concerts i don't

04:46always shocked when i see babies or toddlers at loud concerts that are not yeah that there's people
04:55smoking weed and there's it's not like um kids bop right because they do host kids bop at pine
05:02knob and that's i think there's a lot of concerts that we talk about this with teddy all the time
05:07in regards to is it ready are we ready to take him to a concert now teddy sometimes doesn't he

05:16the music but he doesn't necessarily love the loud music that a concert would present and so while
05:24it's something that he would dance to at home we'd get there and then all of a sudden he would

05:28like i want to go overwhelming yeah it's too much the environment would be overwhelming so but if your
05:33kid's not overwhelmed by the environment i don't know that i would have any issue with parents taking
05:37kids to whether it was wu-tang or any really any other concert i i honestly don't have an issue

05:45did kind of like my like was like oh i don't know if i would do that i don't you
05:50parent the way you
05:51want a parent everyone does things differently yes yeah but everybody so i thought i wouldn't be
05:56doing yeah what concerts would you take your kids to and is one and a half no matter what the

06:00unless it's a kid's concert is that too young to take your kid to yeah clearly there's a lot of
06:04variables how old is the kid where's the concert at yeah what type of concert is it yeah so you're
06:09looking at me going oh this guy hates kids i don't care if you bring your kids to the concert

06:12behave yourself that's the only rule if they're old enough to behave themselves in public you can
06:16bring them where you need to bring them you don't want a screaming kid behind you but at a concert
06:20the screaming kid's probably going to be drowned out anyway so yeah i mean it's there's a lot more
06:26one and a half year olds that would be behaving appropriately at that concert versus some grown-ups
