00:00Now, let's talk about the Raiders, though,
00:01porque el cubano Fernando Mendoza played this weekend.
00:04He got his first time, yeah.
00:05And he looked really good.
00:06Tell me, I know that you have connections.
00:09Absolutely.
00:10So Fernando Mendoza started off in my high school,
00:12but then just with prep in Miami,
00:13he then went on to Columbus,
00:15both of them all-boy Catholic schools
00:17with a bunch of Cubanitos.
00:19And then he went on to play at Indiana
00:21when the national championship.
00:23He got his first playing time.
00:24Now, they want to bring him along slowly,
00:26so we're going to have a Mendoza watch here.
00:28The starting quarterback, Kirk Cousins,
00:30who's a veteran, is actually doing well,
00:32and they're winning.
00:32They weren't expected to win, but they're doing well.
00:35Now, one of the biggest busts down here
00:36should have the Chargers.
00:38Do we have any Chargers fans in the house?
00:41Everybody quiet.
00:41By the way, I've been living in L.A., right, since 2006.
00:44When the Chargers came to L.A.
00:46and the Rams at the same time,
00:48I was expecting there to be Chargers fans.
00:50I have not seen one Chargers fan in Los Angeles
00:52the entire time.
00:53But anyway, they were supposed to be better than that, 0-5.
00:56National Football Conference time.
00:57So, here's the other surprise.
01:00The Giants were supposed to be bad.
01:02They lost their starting quarterback,
01:03but they're 3-1-1.
01:04Yes, you can have a tie in football.
01:06It happens.
01:07So, you know, that's something that we're keeping an eye on.
01:10I'm just going to scroll down to really this section
01:12that I want to talk about.
01:14Yes, that's the best stuff.
01:15Right here, baby.
01:16The NFC West is considered the best division.
01:195-0 49ers, my team, baby.
01:20That's my team.
01:21Brock Purdy, from Mr. Irrelevant to possible MVP.
01:25What am I saying?
01:26That was my favorite team growing up as a kid, believe it or not,
01:29because even though I grew up in Miami,
01:30I wasn't a Dolphin fan,
01:31and I saw that Joe Montan and the 49ers
01:33beat the Dolphins in the Super Bowl,
01:34and I ended up liking them.
01:35But that's going to be the division we pay attention to,
01:38especially since we're in L.A.
01:39and the Rams,
01:40who are considered Super Bowl favorites.
01:42They're 2-2.
01:42We'll see how it goes.
