00:00Harry Potter's eyes suddenly snapped open
00:02When he was a child, he was fostered by his aunt
00:04But he had no choice but to live in the stairwell
00:06Every morning, his cousin would stomp wildly on the stairs
00:08Sending dust cascading down on his face
00:10But Harry had gotten used to it by now
00:12That day, Harry prepared breakfast for the family as usual
00:14But today felt different
00:15It's his cousin's birthday
00:16His uncle had piled an entire table full of gifts
00:19And watching all of it, Harry couldn't help but feel envious
00:21Since he'd never received a single gift in his life
00:23But his cousin threw a fit anyway
00:25Complaining he'd gotten one fewer present than last year
00:27To cheer him up, the family headed to the zoo
00:29Harry found it all boring
00:30So he wandered over to the reptile exhibit
00:32And started pouring his heart out to a python
00:33To his amazement, the python actually understood what he was saying
00:36And nodded in response
00:37But just then, his cousin suddenly shoved him aside
00:39Harry's anger flared
00:40And without thinking, he unleashed magic
00:42His cousin went tumbling straight into the snake enclosure
00:44The python seized the chance to escape
00:46Even turning back to thank Harry
00:47When his cousin tried to climb out, the glass mysteriously reappeared
00:50His aunt panicked in terror, while Harry couldn't help but laugh
00:53His uncle saw everything and immediately blamed Harry
00:55Locking him in a cramped room and refusing to feed him for an entire week
00:58Then one day, Harry received a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
01:02But his uncle tore it to shreds on the spot
01:04He even nailed the mailbox shut
01:05But the invitations from the magic school never stopped coming
01:08Owls kept delivering more and more letters
01:09Eventually, they surrounded the entire house
01:12His uncle had no choice but to burn every single one
01:14But the next instant, thousands upon thousands of letters came pouring through the fireplace
01:18Flooding the room
01:19Harry was thrilled and desperately tried to grab one
01:21But his uncle held him back with an iron grip
01:23To escape the letters, they ended up moving to a hut in the middle of the sea
01:26Without those letters, his uncle's family could finally sleep in peace
01:29But Harry lay awake all night, because today was his birthday
01:31He drew himself a cake and silently made a wish
01:33Suddenly, the door to the hut was violently kicked open
01:36It was Hagrid, the groundskeeper from the magic school
01:38Harry's uncle mustered up his courage and tried to throw him out
01:40But Hagrid effortlessly bent the shotgun barrel with his bare hands
01:43Then he walked over to Harry and handed him a gift
01:45That was the first birthday cake of Harry's life
01:48Thank you
01:48Then Hagrid handed Harry his Hogwarts acceptance letter
01:51And invited him to enroll at the magical academy
01:53As for the cousin who'd bullied Harry, Hagrid gave him a little surprise
01:57The next day, Hagrid tapped his umbrella against a brick wall
01:59The bricks began moving on their own
02:01And just like that, Harry officially stepped into the magical world
02:04And began his journey at Hogwarts
02:05Hagrid took Harry to Gringotts Bank
02:07Where Harry discovered his parents had left him an enormous fortune
02:10With that money, he bought his first wand
02:12And quickly purchased everything he needed for school
02:14Before they parted ways, Hagrid handed Harry a train ticket
02:16Harry looked down and read
02:17Platform 9 and 3 quarters
02:19He was just about to ask, but Hagrid had already slipped away
02:22Desperate, Harry had to search for the station on his own
02:24But the station workers all thought he was joking around
02:27When he was at his wits end
02:28He spotted a boy pushing a luggage cart
02:30Who ran straight at the wall between platforms 9 and 10
02:32And completely vanished
02:33Gathering his courage, Harry did the same
02:35He closed his eyes and when he opened them again
02:37A magical, bustling new platform appeared before him
02:39He'd finally found the Hogwarts Express
02:41On the train, he made two important friends
02:43Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger
02:45At the time, Harry had no idea the three of them
02:47Would go on to forever change the magical world
