00:00This dog digs frantically through the rubble. Its claws are bleeding, but it refuses to stop.
00:04To speed things up, it even calls its three puppies to help dig.
00:07Every so often, it barks toward the depths of the rubble, trying to wake the owner buried below.
00:11Hearing the continuous barking outside, the girl finally slowly opens her eyes.
00:15She turns her head, wanting to wake her grandfather, who's unconscious beside her.
00:18The dog senses movement inside and barks even louder, but Grandpa still doesn't respond.
00:22Suddenly, the dog seems to hear something and quickly leaves the rubble.
00:25It races along following the sounds of voices it hears, arriving at two rescue workers.
00:29It firmly bites down on their pants and refuses to let go.
00:32At first, the rescue workers think the dog is just playing with them, so they push it aside.
00:36But the dog keeps clinging to their clothes and won't leave.
00:38One of the men realizes something's wrong. He crouches down and asks if the dog's owner is
00:42trapped.
00:42The dog seems to understand what they're saying. It immediately turns around and runs back.
00:46Seeing this, the two men follow right behind it. The dog quickly leads them to its owner.
00:50It keeps barking at them, signaling that someone is buried beneath the rubble.
00:53The two men immediately begin rescue operations, frantically digging away the debris, burying the grandfather and granddaughter.
00:58The dog watches all this and lets out a bark in gratitude.
01:01After considerable effort, the rescue workers finally pull the two out.
01:04Just then, a rescue helicopter arrives on the scene.
01:07The rescue workers first load Grandpa onto the helicopter, but when it's the girl's turn, she cries and
01:11refuses to leave.
01:12She begs the rescue workers to bring the dog along, but because Grandpa is severely injured, they can only
01:17prioritize the critically wounded.
01:18The girl watches the dog through tears, unable to bear parting with it.
01:21Mary's eyes were also filled with anticipation.
01:23She longed to leave together with her master, but the girl is powerless.
01:26Finally, they pick the girl up and board the helicopter.
01:29The helicopter immediately turns and flies toward the hospital.
01:31Realizing she's being abandoned, Maria desperately chases after the helicopter.
01:35Even with injured feet, nothing can stop her.
01:37But the helicopter flies farther and farther away.
01:39Maria finally collapses from exhaustion, left with no choice but to watch it disappear.
01:43But Maria never doubts that her owner will come back for her.
01:45So she stays with her three puppies, holding vigil in the devastated rubble.
01:48Several months later, the family returns to their destroyed home.
01:51But no matter how much they call out, they can't find the dogs anywhere.
01:54The girl is filled with guilt and tears, consumed by self-blame and despair.
01:57Suddenly, a few gentle barks were heard.
01:59It turned out to be Mary's puppy.
02:00The moment the girl sees them, she runs over quickly.
02:03They're all still alive, but Maria herself is nowhere to be seen.
02:05Just as the girl is on the verge of complete collapse,
02:08she suddenly spots a dirty dog limping toward them with a gentle smile on its face.
02:13The girl immediately rushes to her.
02:15After enduring months of hardship, Maria has finally waited for her owner's return.
02:19They embraced tightly and shed tears of reunion after a long separation.
