'ARE WE HAVING A TUTORIAL?'

Prosecution lawyer Atty. Erwin Matib questioned defense lawyer Atty. Kristine Ferrer’s line of questioning during the cross-examination of the BIR witness on Day 37 of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial.

In a manifestation, Matib asked, “Are we having a tutorial?” as Ferrer walked the witness through a BIR form.

Presiding Officer Francis “Chiz” Escudero acknowledged Matib’s remark and said he was also learning from the discussion, signaling Ferrer to continue. (Video courtesy of Senate of the Philippines)
