00:01Thick haze envelops Singapore as the city-state prepares for this weekend's Formula One night
00:07race, with air quality reaching unhealthy levels for two consecutive days. On Wednesday evening,

00:22Singapore awoke to similar conditions on Thursday, with IQ Air recording a reading of 167 at 8am
00:29before easing to 154 at 11am. One F1 attendee, who was on her honeymoon, said the haze was not going

00:45that spoil our adventure because we're here on our honeymoon, so we're just going to enjoy it and
00:51have a blast. Despite conditions expected to extend through the race weekend, Formula One says the
00:58Grand Prix remains on track. A spokesperson told the Straits Times there is absolutely no risk to the
01:04event, and current conditions are not at a level of concern. Race organisers added that contingency
01:11plans are in place alongside government agencies, covering various scenarios, including making N95
