00:00My working theory early is Bates, you're right, is primarily a blocker, right?
00:07But I think there's a reason that Bates continues to get looks,
00:12is he will kind of run routes for you in a more traditional manner.
00:17I think Chig is at the top of the list, but I even think Sinnott and even Yankov,
00:23I think those guys are more just incredible athletes playing tight end
00:29than necessarily tight ends.
00:31You don't see kind of crisp routes coming from these tight ends,
00:36and maybe that means Blau needs to evolve to more positions
00:40where they can use that athleticism to get open,
00:43or they have to figure out, like, all right, I've got to be a little more precise in this.
00:47If you spent the money you spent for Chig, you need to be drawing up some stuff for him.
00:52Not telling him, hey, I need you to do this.
00:55I need you to do what these other people are doing.
00:57No, no, no.
00:58You felt he was important enough to get paid the money he paid.
01:02He was paid.
01:03You've got to look at his athleticism and look at his film and draw up stuff for him
01:07because he's shown already in this league he has advantage over guys.
01:11So if you want him to just run the traditional stuff,
01:13that is not going to get the best out of him.
01:15Now, him missing two games is a factor.
01:17Yeah, that's a huge factor.
01:18I want them to pull them up because I can get a Amerika house here.
01:18you can be wrong.
