00:07challenging the validity of a state gazette notification revoking their appointments.
00:12The ten plaintiffs are Datuk Muhammad Faizal Ramli, Datuk Zaiful Bahri Idris,
00:17Datuk Mustafa Nagor, Siao Kong Chun, Siti Nur Umairah Hashim, Datuk Muhammad Asna Amin,
00:24Datuk Muhammad Razi Muhammad Ali, Suhaimizan Bizar, Muhammad Fairus Muhammad Isa and Datuk Razali Abu Samah.
00:32Their lawyers, Messrs Hafarizam Wan and Aisyah Mubarak, said the summons was filed on Oktober 5
00:38against the Negeri Sembilan State Secretary and the State Government.
00:42They are also questioning whether their appointments could be revoked by the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan
00:48without the advice of the Menteri Besar, as required under the State Constitution.
00:53The plaintiffs are seeking several declarations, including that if the revocation did not comply
00:59with the constitutional requirements and procedures, it should be deemed null, void and ineffective.
01:05They are also seeking damages, interest, costs and other reliefs to be determined by the court.
01:11The matter has been fixed for hearing on Oktober 21.
