00:16drink minimum legal drinking age one of the reasons on a number of a number of reasons one
00:20is a matter of principle i think is wrong because i think um we give so many we give the

00:33appreciate that they are sufficiently mentally and emotionally developed to do so so i think it
00:39doesn't make sense to say well you can't have a beer but you could um raise a family
00:47tillab esteed is adamant there are better ways to manage the country's alcohol use and not just
00:54amongst young people um i think there are better ways if you want to stamp out or reduce uh alcohol
01:01consumption amongst that age group and the young people and generally the nation there are other
01:07more effective ways to do so one is to ban alcohol marketing another one is to um launch a educational
01:18and in the media a campaign an anti-alcohol campaign if you want a sustained campaign a hard-hitting
01:25campaign like the ones like the ones that are uh conducted well certainly abroad against tobacco
01:32and obviously price to keep make sure that the uh alcohol is not available cheaply
