Jerry Puts His Foot in His Mouth on Seinfeld

Elaine returns to Jerry’s apartment after an argument with her boyfriend — and Jerry quickly discovers he may have helped start it.
The problem is whether podiatrists are really doctors, an innocent debate that somehow leaves Jerry and Elaine scrambling to establish that they are both firmly “pro-foot.” Jerry eventually decides there’s only one way out: Elaine needs to call and apologize.
