Elaine arrives with some bad news—she's being kicked out of her apartment over a growing list of grievances that includes everything from a jewel thief to Canadian quarters in the washing machine. When George suggests moving in with his parents, Elaine quickly reminds him that he's supposed to be doing the opposite of his natural instincts.

Jerry has his own theory about their changing fortunes. With Elaine suddenly down and George unexpectedly up, he explains why their problems ultimately work out perfectly for the one person standing safely in the middle—himself.

Seinfeld is streaming now on Netflix.
