00:00I saw this from Warren Sharp.
00:02Across the league, there have been 17 touchdowns
00:05called back with penalties through four weeks.
00:07That number was five last year.
00:10Number one, most penalties against offenses per snap
00:14since at least 2,000.
00:16Number one, most penalties on third or fourth downs
00:18in the second half of games since at least 2,000.
00:21And that's probably just when the data is available.
00:23Number one, most penalties in the red zone
00:25against offenses since at least 2,000.
00:27Because the refereeing is bad across the league
00:30and there are way more flags than there have been
00:33in a lot of years.
00:34So it's not a conspiracy against Washington.
00:37They're just doing poor jobs.
00:39It's not a conspiracy, but it was very unbalanced.
00:41And it is very frustrating as a fan
00:44because we're not going to quit watching football
00:46no matter how bad it is.
00:47Anyone that wants to call up, say,
00:48well, what are you going to do?
00:49Are you going to quit watching?
00:50I quit watching years ago.
00:51Oh, yeah, sure, you've quit watching.
00:53There's nothing better than NFL football as a drug
00:56and we're addicted.
00:56So you're going to put up with it.
00:58That said, we're averaging, I think,
01:0017 accepted penalties per game now,
01:02which is the highest it's been in 10 years.
