00:14Hyperscale data centers consume millions of liters of fresh water a day. In some cases,
00:20in regions that are already suffering from drought. In the US, there are already several communities
00:26actively fighting new data centers because rivers and groundwater are measurably impacted.
00:34In short, data centers are now competing directly with cities, agriculture and industry for energy
00:42and water. And that's in a world that actually wants to electrify and decarbonize.
