A major Ukrainian drone attack targeted Moscow and the surrounding Moscow region overnight, according to Russian authorities. Officials said two people were killed and nine others injured, while hundreds of drones were intercepted by Russian air defenses.
Authorities also reported damage to residential buildings and other facilities across the Moscow region.
This report distinguishes the October 6 attack from an earlier major drone attack reported on September 20.
