00:00:08Your blood, it's spiring again, isn't it?
00:00:15They say I carry the Wolf King's blood, but no wolf, which makes me a threat.
00:00:19They want me dead.
00:00:21You haven't awakened yet.
00:00:23That's all.
00:00:25And what if I never do?
00:00:28Then I'll stay by your side.
00:00:29Until the day you become the true Wolf King.
00:00:43I knew it.
00:00:44You're my mate.
00:01:06You must terminate the pregnancy.
00:01:08What?
00:01:09Every wolf in the court wants Kaladin dead.
00:01:12If they discover this child, they'll kill him for sure and slaughter your baby as an abomination.
00:01:18You claim to love him.
00:01:20Can you really stand by and watch him die?
00:01:23End this.
00:01:23Leave him.
00:01:25It's the only way he survives.
00:01:29Once Linther and that child are gone, nothing stands between me and the unawakened king.
00:01:42Did you miss me while I was away on a mission in the north for a month?
00:01:49Kalidor.
00:01:51This is over.
00:01:52What?
00:01:53I was with you for your bloodline.
00:01:55You were a research subject.
00:01:57Nothing more.
00:01:58I waited.
00:02:00I waited so long, but you still haven't awakened.
00:02:03I'm the chief healer.
00:02:05I won't waste my life on a monster who could lose control at any moment.
00:02:09You said none of that mattered.
00:02:11You promised you'd stay by my side.
00:02:13I wanted to be queen.
00:02:15But you?
00:02:16You're still not the wolf king.
00:02:18Linther, don't!
00:02:21Don't touch me!
00:02:29Well, look who crawled back.
00:02:30Heard your healer dumped you.
00:02:32Why would our chief healer waste time on a soulless freak?
00:02:34You're no wolf king.
00:02:41Say that again.
00:02:42No, that's impossible.
00:02:43You awakened?
00:02:46He's not out of control.
00:02:48The Dark Knight Wolf King bloodline is finally awakened.
00:02:53My son's condition is worsening.
00:02:55I need moonbone herb.
00:02:57My last bottle.
00:02:59I may not be able to find any next time.
00:03:01This won't cure him.
00:03:02The medicine he needs is only in the royal palace.
00:03:04Or the Dark Knight Wastened Black Market.
00:03:07I understand.
00:03:10Hard to believe.
00:03:11The freak everyone wanted dead turned out to be the real deal.
00:03:14Now every wolf bows to him.
00:03:24Papa, you came back.
00:03:26I missed you.
00:03:28Sweetheart, we need to move again.
00:03:30Because of me?
00:03:31Never.
00:03:32But the medicine here can't save you anymore.
00:03:34We have to go back somewhere dangerous to find what you need.
00:03:37Calidor can never know you're his son.
00:03:41Hail the wolf king!
00:03:51Find him.
00:03:55Seven years, Lintha.
00:03:59Where the hell have you...
00:04:05Stay here, sweetheart.
00:04:07Where are you going, Papa?
00:04:08To find medicine that can heal you.
00:04:10He'll come back, right?
00:04:18He'll protect you.
00:04:19I promise I'll be back soon.
00:04:24Moonbone herb.
00:04:26Wait.
00:04:27You're Lintha.
00:04:28The court's former chief healer.
00:04:31Unbelievable.
00:04:32The traitor actually has the guts to show his face here.
00:04:35Didn't you despise our king?
00:04:36Now that he's powerful, you come crawling back?
00:04:39The medicine.
00:04:40Please.
00:04:41This medicine isn't for just anyone.
00:04:43Name your price.
00:04:44She means she won't sell to a bitch who betrayed the wolf king.
00:04:47The wolf king!
00:04:48He's here inspecting the wasteland!
00:04:51He's here.
00:04:53No, he can't see me.
00:04:54I have to run.
00:04:55Leaving so soon?
00:05:00Hail the wolf king!
00:05:05I thought you needed moonbone herb.
00:05:07Let go.
00:05:08I don't need it.
00:05:09I never said I wouldn't sell.
00:05:11Get on your knees and beg.
00:05:12Then I'll consider it.
00:05:14Ha ha ha ha!
00:05:15Ha ha ha!
00:05:35Seven years.
00:05:36And here you are.
00:05:38Finally back.
00:05:40I didn't come back for you.
00:05:42I came from medicine.
00:05:48Tell me.
00:05:49Seven years ago, why did you leave me?
00:05:56Seize him!
00:05:58He's mine.
00:06:00No one lays a hand on him.
00:06:02Your majesty, have you forgotten?
00:06:03This man abandoned you.
00:06:06Grab him!
00:06:09Let him go.
00:06:10You may stop me now, but I'll find him and bring him back.
00:06:16No!
00:06:21Lintha, you're mine to catch.
00:06:26Eli, where are you?
00:06:28Papa's home!
00:06:34Running away.
00:06:42Seven years ago, you left me without a word.
00:06:44Now you want to do it again?
00:06:46None of your business.
00:06:47We were done.
00:06:50None.
00:06:51Your soul, your body, all of you was mine.
00:06:56Daddy!
00:07:05My blood is reacting to this child.
00:07:08Why?
00:07:10Your eyes.
00:07:12He finally came for me, Papa.
00:07:15Who is he?
00:07:20You said you wouldn't waste your life on me.
00:07:23Now you come back with a child.
00:07:24What else have you been hiding?
00:07:26He's just a sick child I found.
00:07:28I'm treating him.
00:07:29A child you found.
00:07:32Then explain why my blood responds to him.
00:07:38It seems I arrived just in time.
00:07:41You vanish for seven years and return with a child who destabilizes the Wolf King's bloodline.
00:07:47You think the court will let this slip?
00:07:49Don't take him!
00:07:50He's just a child!
00:07:51Which is precisely why we must investigate what he is.
00:07:55Take them both to the court.
00:08:03Will you defy your own court for someone who deceived you?
00:08:06Why he left is my business, not yours, Elder.
00:08:09Your Majesty, how can you trust a traitor?
00:08:11And I'll decide how to handle this traitor.
00:08:12Stay out of it!
00:08:18I saw you at the black market, so that's why you came back.
00:08:21For his medicine.
00:08:28But that can be another lie.
00:08:30I will find out the real reason you're here.
00:08:33Until I do.
00:08:34You don't leave my sight.
00:08:38What are you planning?
00:08:42Come back to the palace.
00:08:44Be my personal healer.
00:08:45If I go back to the palace, they'll discover who Eli really is.
00:08:51I can treat your bloodline.
00:08:52Here, not your palace.
00:08:54I'm offering you a chance to make amends.
00:08:56And you're refusing me?
00:08:57What's the point?
00:08:58You're the Wolf King now.
00:08:59You have access to better healers.
00:09:00You don't need me anymore.
00:09:03Very well.
00:09:12Your Majesty, you don't need a soft heart.
00:09:15Showing up with some bastard child.
00:09:17Linter's probably using you to get power and wealth.
00:09:20If he only wanted power, he wouldn't look at that child the way he does.
00:09:24Don't forget what he told you himself.
00:09:26He only wanted to be queen.
00:09:33Papa?
00:09:34Why are we leaving again?
00:09:36It's too dangerous here, sweetheart.
00:09:38I'm taking you somewhere safe.
00:09:40Where no one can hurt you.
00:09:45Eli?
00:09:47Baby, what's wrong?
00:09:52No.
00:09:52No, Eli.
00:09:53Open your eyes.
00:09:54Look at me.
00:09:56Please look at me.
00:10:00God, no.
00:10:08Without the palace medicine, Eli won't survive much longer.
00:10:16Your Majesty, are you all right?
00:10:18Should I summon a healer?
00:10:23This pain, Lintha, is he in danger?
00:10:37Hold on, baby.
00:10:39Papa's here.
00:10:39I won't let you suffer.
00:10:42Are you crazy?
00:10:47Your power's nearly gone.
00:10:49You'll die if you keep this up.
00:10:52I don't care.
00:10:54I can't lose him.
00:10:55He's all I have.
00:10:59No.
00:11:00Why isn't it working?
00:11:02Let me.
00:11:03My power can heal him.
00:11:12He's stable, for now.
00:11:19What?
00:11:20What is this?
00:11:22Who's the mother?
00:11:25If they discover this child, they'll kill him for sure, and slaughter your baby as an
00:11:30abomination.
00:11:30I can't tell him.
00:11:32If I do, they'll kill Caligar, and Eli will die too.
00:11:34He's mine.
00:11:36Just mine.
00:11:36He has nothing to do with anyone.
00:11:38So you left seven years ago, because you had someone else, and you had his child.
00:11:45They look alike.
00:11:46If Lintha belonged to someone else seven years ago, then what the hell was I to him?
00:11:50I can't explain.
00:11:51Maybe it's better keeping this misunderstanding for all of us.
00:11:55Thank you for saving him.
00:12:02Who is the mother, really?
00:12:07Just a little longer, sweetheart.
00:12:10I'll find a way to heal you.
00:12:12You can't stay here anymore.
00:12:14As soon as you wake up, we're leaving.
00:12:15For good.
00:12:25That child, why does his power feel so familiar?
00:12:34I don't carry these.
00:12:36Spring of Holy Moonbone, and these rare ingredients.
00:12:39In all the wasteland, only the Royal Palace has them.
00:12:43Is there really no other way?
00:12:55Why are you here?
00:13:01Be my personal healer, and I'll give you every medicine you need for that child's life.
00:13:06Go ahead and hate me.
00:13:08Keep running from the past if that makes you feel better.
00:13:11But you can't gamble with his life.
00:13:14Do you have any idea what staying with you would mean?
00:13:18It means you can never run again.
00:13:21You'll stay by my side.
00:13:23Forever.
00:13:26These past seven years must have been tough.
00:13:29Stay with me.
00:13:30I'll give you everything you need.
00:13:32I don't want your charity.
00:13:34This isn't charity.
00:13:35It's a deal.
00:13:37Eli!
00:13:39Eli!
00:13:41My power can't suppress it anymore.
00:13:43For Eli, I have no other choice.
00:13:46Deal it is.
00:13:46I'll come back to the palace and treat your bloodline.
00:13:49And in return, you help me find every ingredient Eli needs.
00:13:52Prepare a room in the palace for the child.
00:13:54Yes, your majesty.
00:13:56Should I inform Elder Veyrod?
00:13:57No need.
00:13:59From today forward, Lintha stays in my chambers.
00:14:10When we were together, I healed every one of these scars.
00:14:14Your Dark Knight bloodline is more unstable than it was seven years ago.
00:14:23You've been enduring this kind of pain all this time?
00:14:27What, suddenly you care about me now?
00:14:34It's stable now.
00:14:36We'll need to do this every night.
00:14:41I severed our mate bond.
00:14:43Why is it still reacting?
00:14:50Seven years.
00:14:52And my mark's still on them.
00:14:58Your majesty.
00:15:00As your personal healer, I believe tonight's treatment is complete.
00:15:03Please control yourself.
00:15:06You don't need to remind me.
00:15:15Which healer is treating his majesty tonight?
00:15:18Sir, it's Lintha.
00:15:21His majesty is in treatment.
00:15:23No one is to disturb him.
00:15:25Lintha doesn't even hold an official palace healer position.
00:15:27Why is he allowed to treat his majesty alone?
00:15:30They were mates seven years ago.
00:15:32He's obviously using that to get close to his majesty again.
00:15:35Once they see Lintha still entangling the Wolf King,
00:15:37the court will force him out of the palace.
00:15:39Someone's outside.
00:15:42Your majesty, has the treatment concluded?
00:15:47Have you thought about what they'll assume if you walk out looking like this?
00:15:52Your majesty, is there any inconvenience?
00:15:55Nothing happened between us.
00:15:57They won't believe that.
00:16:01What are you doing?
00:16:02Don't talk.
00:16:04Stay here.
00:16:05Don't move.
00:16:08Your majesty, I heard Lintha treated you tonight.
00:16:12He has no official healer credentials.
00:16:13Why is he allowed in your chamber?
00:16:15Lintha is my personal healer.
00:16:17Starting today.
00:16:18Your majesty, he hasn't even been approved by the Elder Council.
00:16:21My healer doesn't require anyone's approval.
00:16:25Yes, your majesty.
00:16:27Why would you do that?
00:16:29You know the court will never accept me.
00:16:31So what?
00:16:33My people?
00:16:34My decision?
00:16:36I'm not yours.
00:16:38Then why does your mate Mark still respond to mine?
00:16:41It's just a blood reaction.
00:16:43Nothing more.
00:16:48Don't worry.
00:16:49I won't beg you to stay like I did seven years ago.
00:16:54Since you only want to be my healer,
00:16:55then do your job.
00:16:57But what terrifies me isn't staying by your side.
00:17:00It's that I'll never be able to leave you again.
00:17:03Papa?
00:17:04Why is that wolf king always with you?
00:17:08Because I'm his healer.
00:17:09But he looks at you differently than he looks at others.
00:17:14Did he know you before?
00:17:17More than that,
00:17:18he was once the person I loved most.
00:17:21Healer Lintha.
00:17:25The Northern Silver Wolf delegation has arrived.
00:17:28His majesty requests your presence at the reception.
00:17:34Understood.
00:17:39Your majesty.
00:17:40It's been far too long.
00:17:42And this must be the healer from the rumors.
00:17:44The one who abandoned you.
00:17:46I heard he betrayed the king and ran away.
00:17:48The traitor gets to stand his majesty now?
00:17:50Once the princess becomes queen, she'll throw him out.
00:17:52They're right.
00:17:53I never should have come back here.
00:17:55He's my personal healer now.
00:17:56I see.
00:17:58So after the union, I'll be sharing your majesty's company with his personal healer.
00:18:02You said you don't love me.
00:18:03Let's see if you can stay indifferent when you watch me with someone else.
00:18:06I look forward to becoming your queen.
00:18:08For the whole pack.
00:18:09She's the one worthy of him.
00:18:13You really don't give a damn about me now?
00:18:19The medicine here can cure you.
00:18:23Surprising.
00:18:24His majesty actually opened the royal vault for you.
00:18:27Your highness.
00:18:28As his majesty's personal healer, I have clearance for any medicinals required for treatment.
00:18:33Healer Lintha, right?
00:18:34I heard you brought a child with you when you returned.
00:18:37A child without a father.
00:18:39Does he also have access to the royal vault?
00:18:41My son is none of your concern.
00:18:43But the court has no record of his identity.
00:18:46A child of unknown orages using royal medenicals?
00:18:49Hardly acceptable.
00:18:51I'm only taking what's needed for treatment.
00:18:56Papa, what's that?
00:18:59That's Moonbone Holy Dew.
00:19:00If I could get it, Eli's condition might finally stabilize.
00:19:10Who gave you permission to touch royal medicine?
00:19:13Eli, give me the bottle.
00:19:14I knew it.
00:19:15You're not here for treatment.
00:19:16You're here to steal.
00:19:18It fell from the shelf.
00:19:19He was only catching it.
00:19:20That's Moonbone Holy Dew.
00:19:22That's one of the royal treasures.
00:19:24The palace only has this one bottle.
00:19:25Give it to me.
00:19:26Don't touch him.
00:19:27Your highness, be careful.
00:19:30Papa.
00:19:31It wasn't his fault.
00:19:33You think his majesty's favor gives you right to do whatever you want in this palace?
00:19:37You destroyed a royal treasure.
00:19:39You were the one who...
00:19:40It's shattered in your son's hands.
00:19:42You'll pay 100,000 gold coins in damages and face the court's judgment.
00:19:46Fine.
00:19:47I'll pay.
00:19:49Just don't hurt him.
00:19:51Really?
00:19:53A papa like you can afford 100,000?
00:19:59What happened?
00:20:01Lintha's child destroyed the medicine.
00:20:10It's just medicine.
00:20:11Your majesty, that was...
00:20:12I said it's just medicine.
00:20:14He's my personal healer and his child is my guest.
00:20:17No one...
00:20:17That was Moonbone Holy Dew.
00:20:19Your majesty, you can't be this biased toward Lintha.
00:20:22What actually happened?
00:20:24I...
00:20:24I accidentally knocked into the shelf when I passed by.
00:20:27Even so, the medicine shattered in his son's hands.
00:20:30By law, Lintha must pay restitution.
00:20:32I'll pay.
00:20:34Pay for what?
00:20:36You didn't break it?
00:20:40Be more careful next time.
00:20:42Yes, your majesty.
00:20:43As for you, my personal healer answers to no one but me.
00:20:46Your majesty, but that's the royal law.
00:20:48My people answer to me, not you.
00:20:55Take this.
00:20:56From now on, you don't need to explain yourself to anyone.
00:21:00He hates me, but he still protects me.
00:21:04Thank you, your majesty.
00:21:06It's just some medicine.
00:21:07If you need it, I'll have someone find more.
00:21:14This healer has more influence over the Wolf King than any political alliance.
00:21:18I have to get rid of him.
00:21:19The blood moon rises.
00:21:21The Wolf King's Dark Knight bloodline will enter its most dangerous phase.
00:21:26Tonight, no one leaves the palace.
00:21:28All healers must remain on standby to ensure his majesty's bloodline remains stable.
00:21:33The entire court rejects him, yet his majesty shields him.
00:21:36Perhaps only if I remind his majesty of the betrayal from seven years ago can I chase him away.
00:21:44Elder, ordinary healers may not be competent enough.
00:21:47Tonight is the blood moon.
00:21:48We need the healer who knows his majesty best.
00:21:50Let healer Linton take responsibility.
00:21:53Naturally, he is his majesty's personal healer.
00:22:04You don't need to look at me like that.
00:22:07I'm your healer.
00:22:08I'm treating you.
00:22:08That's all.
00:22:09Your majesty, it's stable now.
00:22:11Is this tenderness for a patient?
00:22:21You said you don't love me.
00:22:22Then why does your wolf still answer mine?
00:22:24I should hate him.
00:22:25But the moment I see him, I lose control all over again.
00:22:30Kalidor, this is over.
00:22:31You've severed our mate bond with your own hands.
00:22:33And now, you want to get close to me again?
00:22:36I've never regretted my choice.
00:22:40Lintha!
00:22:40What are you doing?
00:22:41Are you here to treat his majesty, or are you deliberately triggering his cursing with your remaining mate bond?
00:22:46Healer Lintha disappeared for seven years.
00:22:48Now he returns with a child.
00:22:50The court has every right to question what he's hiding.
00:22:54Take him to the council chamber.
00:22:55You don't get to touch my personal healer.
00:23:00Your majesty, he betrayed you once.
00:23:02His past is mine to judge.
00:23:04Don't you dare make decisions for me.
00:23:11Seven years ago, he needed my care.
00:23:14Now he stands before everyone else and protects me instead.
00:23:18Last night, his majesty publicly confronted Elder Veyron, all for that healer.
00:23:22He betrayed his majesty seven years ago.
00:23:23What right does he have to stay in this palace?
00:23:28Hurry up.
00:23:29Tonight is Princess Selina's welcome banquet.
00:23:31Every wolf in the court must attend.
00:23:33I heard the Elder Council is planning to formally discuss the alliance marriage at the banquet.
00:23:37If it goes through, Princess Selina will be our queen.
00:23:40He's really going to marry Selina.
00:23:41Tonight, we welcome Princess Selina of the Silver Wolf from the north and mark the beginning of our alliance.
00:23:48I heard once this alliance is sealed, the Northern Silver Wolves and the Dark Knight Caunt merge forces for good.
00:23:52Then Princess Selina becomes the queen.
00:23:54Who he chooses has nothing to do with me.
00:23:56Sire, this banquet was held in my honor.
00:23:59You wouldn't let me dance alone, would you?
00:24:03He has Selina now.
00:24:04What right do I have to care?
00:24:07Healer Lintha, care to dance?
00:24:09No, thank you. I'd rather not.
00:24:12Don't be so quick to refuse.
00:24:15Wouldn't tonight be a perfect chance to find yourself a new patron?
00:24:20Your Majesty?
00:24:24Who said you...
00:24:25Your Majesty, I didn't know he was yours.
00:24:28Get lost.
00:24:31Your Majesty, you should be dancing with Princess Selina, not here with me.
00:24:39You have an alliance to maintain, but I can't even dance with someone?
00:24:42How is that fair?
00:24:45Fair?
00:24:47You walked away seven years ago and came back like I meant nothing.
00:24:51Does watching me with someone else really not bother you at all?
00:24:54I told you.
00:24:55I don't care.
00:24:57Good.
00:24:58Then I won't waste my feelings on you either.
00:25:02Seven years.
00:25:04And he still has this hold on His Majesty.
00:25:15Oh my.
00:25:16It seems the healer has a sweet tooth.
00:25:23Selina, remember your place.
00:25:30Why didn't you fight back?
00:25:34This is your palace.
00:25:35I don't want to cause more trouble.
00:25:38So you just take all the humiliation?
00:25:44That's not your business.
00:25:46I'm the king.
00:25:48Someone touches what's mine and my palace is absolutely my business.
00:25:52I'm not yours.
00:25:53You said the same thing seven years ago.
00:25:56Then you vanished without a word.
00:25:58Tell me.
00:25:59Why did you betray me back then?
00:26:02We're done.
00:26:03That's all there is to it.
00:26:04I'm asking you why.
00:26:08Then what about Eli?
00:26:10Why does he follow you?
00:26:11Who's his mother?
00:26:13Why can't you tell me?
00:26:15Because the answer won't do you any good.
00:26:16So after you left me, there was someone else.
00:26:20Eli is the child you had with that woman, isn't it?
00:26:23If he hates me, at least it's safer than knowing the truth.
00:26:27Forget it.
00:26:41Let go of me.
00:26:43You sure about that?
00:26:50What's inside it?
00:26:53One day, I will win you back.
00:26:56A family heirloom.
00:26:59Turn around.
00:27:05From now on, let's just be king and personal Hether.
00:27:09Thank you for tonight.
00:27:17No matter what it takes, I won't let you...
00:27:21Your Highness, last night His Majesty and Healer Lintha
00:27:24were in the bath chamber together for quite a long time.
00:27:26Lintha was wearing His Majesty's shirt when he came out.
00:27:29So he actually thinks he can win the king back.
00:27:32I won't let him stay by His Majesty's side any longer.
00:27:37Elder, I want Lintha out of this palace.
00:27:39What's in your mind?
00:27:40I want everyone to see clearly that he doesn't belong at His Majesty's side.
00:27:45Then you need to remind His Majesty exactly how Lintha betrayed him
00:27:48in front of everyone.
00:27:52I always heard Healer Lintha was beautiful.
00:27:54Rumors don't do you justice.
00:27:56Step aside.
00:27:57I have no interest in getting acquainted.
00:27:59So cold.
00:28:01No wonder His Majesty still can't let you go after seven years.
00:28:04Don't rush off!
00:28:06Let me get a better look at you.
00:28:07Hands off.
00:28:08Is this what passes for manors among palace nobles?
00:28:11But you're not anymore.
00:28:12Why don't you show me what His Majesty saw in you?
00:28:15Let go.
00:28:16Block my path again and you'll regret it.
00:28:20You're not just rude.
00:28:21You're death.
00:28:23You think a healer like you can talk to me like that?
00:28:26Who gave you the nerve to lay a hand on him?
00:28:29Your Majesty, I was just having some fun with Healer Lintha.
00:28:32He said no.
00:28:33Were you not listening?
00:28:35You can't manage basic respect in my palace and you dare call yourself a noble.
00:28:40Your Majesty, I was wrong.
00:28:42Apologize to him.
00:28:43Healer Lintha, I'm very sorry.
00:28:45Remember today.
00:28:46Next time I catch you disrespecting him, an apology won't be enough.
00:28:49Yes, Your Majesty!
00:28:51Thank you, Your Majesty.
00:28:52Don't thank me.
00:28:53You handled yourself well before I got here.
00:28:56I only turned down someone who crossed a line.
00:28:58No.
00:28:59You stood your ground against someone who thought he was above you.
00:29:03He didn't flinch.
00:29:05That's the Lintha I remember.
00:29:08It's been seven years.
00:29:10You think you still know me?
00:29:11Better than anyone.
00:29:12It's what I loved about you most.
00:29:15Your Majesty, what's the point of saying these things now?
00:29:18That was seven years ago.
00:29:21And I still remember every second of it.
00:29:26Your Majesty.
00:29:30Stay back.
00:29:31Your blood is lashing back.
00:29:32It's tearing you apart.
00:29:33I can control it.
00:29:35Stop pretending.
00:29:36You can barely stand.
00:29:39Let's go to the treatment room.
00:29:44Bold tonight, aren't we, Healer?
00:29:46Hold still.
00:29:49You used to heal me just like this.
00:29:51Seven years ago.
00:29:52Stop talking.
00:29:54Still can't stop taking care of me, can you?
00:29:56I'm your personal healer.
00:29:58Is that really all it is?
00:30:03You've been taking care of Eli alone this whole time?
00:30:07No help?
00:30:08No.
00:30:09Seven years alone with him.
00:30:11That must have been hell.
00:30:12If you knew Eli was yours, maybe all you'd feel is rage that I kept him from you.
00:30:16You have everything you ever wanted now.
00:30:17I wasn't there when he needed me most.
00:30:19No, I don't.
00:30:32We can't.
00:30:33Why?
00:30:34What are you so afraid of?
00:30:37Seven years ago, you disappeared.
00:30:39Now you come back with Eli.
00:30:40Eli, Lintha, what the hell have you been hiding from me?
00:30:43Your Majesty, Elder Veyrin requests your presence in the study.
00:30:46He said it's important.
00:30:48Your Majesty, last night you and Lintha were seen together in the bath chamber.
00:30:52Get to your point, Elder.
00:30:53Princess Selina and the Northern delegation are aware.
00:30:57If you keep him at your side, the Princess and the Northern pack may come to believe that...
00:31:01This is my personal affair.
00:31:02Your Majesty, I'm simply reminding you that Lintha's presence will eventually become a problem the court cannot ignore.
00:31:15Investigate everything after Lintha left the palace seven years ago.
00:31:18Miss nothing.
00:31:20Yes, Your Majesty.
00:31:22Where he went, who he was with, and Eli's identity.
00:31:26I want all of it.
00:31:27For Lintha, his Majesty has defied the court again and again.
00:31:32But Lintha was the one who left him.
00:31:34And do you know why?
00:31:37Find the answer in here.
00:31:38Then you'll know exactly how to remove him for good.
00:31:44A mate-bond severance potion?
00:31:47So seven years ago.
00:31:48He chose to sever the bond with His Majesty.
00:31:51So it wasn't that His Majesty lost him.
00:31:54Lintha threw him away.
00:31:55Then I'll make sure His Majesty experiences it all over again.
00:31:59On this day of the royal rite, may our King's bloodline reign eternal.
00:32:03Once His Majesty remembers how Linthrith severed their bond,
00:32:06He'll finally give up on him.
00:32:10Your Majesty!
00:32:13How fascinating.
00:32:14A Wolf King out of control,
00:32:16And a mate who once threw him away.
00:32:18Let's see what happens.
00:32:19Is he insane?
00:32:21Getting close to a rampaging Dark Knight Wolf King is suicide!
00:32:30Caridore, look at me.
00:32:38Caridore, look at me.
00:32:39His Majesty stabilised.
00:32:45Wasn't there mate-bond severed seven years ago?
00:32:48Then why is the red thread appearing again?
00:32:53Mate.
00:32:56My Wolf still remembers you.
00:32:58Where exactly do you think you're running, mate?
00:33:07Your Majesty, if you truly want to know what happened, allow me.
00:33:10Seven years ago, Lintha personally applied for a mate-bond severance potion.
00:33:17No one forced him out.
00:33:18He must have fallen for someone else.
00:33:20That's why he threw you away so easily.
00:33:22Healer Lintha, do you dare tell everyone here why you really left?
00:33:25Tell me it's a lie.
00:33:27Tell me someone forced you.
00:33:29No one forced me.
00:33:31I left because I stopped loving you.
00:33:37You don't love me, then why is it still...
00:33:42Your Majesty, we can't restore the mate-bond.
00:33:46Why?
00:33:49Because you don't love me anymore.
00:33:50Am I wrong?
00:33:51Your Majesty, a mate-thread reappearing after seven years of severage.
00:33:55This must be investigated.
00:33:56That won't be necessary.
00:33:58I'll look into it personally.
00:34:00Your Majesty!
00:34:01Until I'm done, no one touches Lintha.
00:34:03That includes you, Elder Veyron.
00:34:06Come.
00:34:07I'll walk you back.
00:34:08I can go on my own.
00:34:08Non-negotiable.
00:34:09I don't want to find my personal healer dead in a corridor.
00:34:16We're here.
00:34:20Papa!
00:34:21Why are you so late?
00:34:23Papa, you brought Daddy back.
00:34:26Don't say things like that, Eli.
00:34:29Don't go.
00:34:30Please stay with us.
00:34:31Eli, no.
00:34:32Why not?
00:34:33Will you stay for dinner with us?
00:34:34Sweetheart, he's very busy.
00:34:36He doesn't have time to...
00:34:37I'll stay.
00:34:40Why do you always come to see Papa?
00:34:42Because he's my healer.
00:34:43But you don't look like you're here to get healed.
00:34:46What do you think I'm here for, then?
00:34:48I think you come to sneak peeks at Papa.
00:34:52Eli, eat your dinner.
00:34:54Did I say something wrong?
00:34:55No.
00:34:56You're exactly right.
00:34:57Both of you, eat.
00:35:00Are you really strong?
00:35:02Reasonably.
00:35:03Reason, reasonably?
00:35:05What does that mean?
00:35:07Stronger than most.
00:35:08How strong?
00:35:09Can you use a sword?
00:35:11I can.
00:35:11I want to learn, too.
00:35:13Why?
00:35:14Because Papa says my daddy used to be really strong.
00:35:17I want to be just like him so I can protect Papa.
00:35:20Your daddy?
00:35:22What about your mother?
00:35:23I don't have a mama.
00:35:25Papa says it's just me, him, and Daddy.
00:35:28Eli, that's enough.
00:35:29How old are you?
00:35:30Six.
00:35:31Six years old.
00:35:32That means he was already pregnant when he left me.
00:35:39Your Majesty.
00:35:41Enter.
00:35:44Your Majesty, regarding Lintha's seven years away, we have results.
00:35:49Your Majesty, we found no one connected to Lintha.
00:35:52He spent those seven years in the North.
00:35:54Never took a mate, never joined any pack.
00:35:57Everyone in the North says Lintha raised the child entirely alone.
00:36:01So he was alone, all seven years?
00:36:05Confirmed.
00:36:07Did he have a good life?
00:36:10From what we gather, he spent those years searching for cures for the child's condition,
00:36:13survived by healing others.
00:36:15As for the father, no one gave us an answer.
00:36:24If there was no one else, then why did you leave?
00:36:29Your Majesty?
00:36:34Your hair's a mess.
00:36:39Still flitching when you're nervous.
00:36:41We shouldn't be standing this close.
00:36:43That's not what you used to say.
00:36:47Okay.
00:36:58He looks like you.
00:37:02He looks like you.
00:37:05Papa, where are you going?
00:37:07North, to gather some herbs.
00:37:08I'll be back soon.
00:37:09Stay here and behave, okay?
00:37:32Young master, that was a royal ancestral artifact.
00:37:35Do you have any idea how much trouble you're in?
00:37:38Your Majesty.
00:37:42I'm sorry.
00:37:47Are you mad at me?
00:37:49No.
00:37:49This petty thing's not worth it.
00:37:51Then will you help me fix it, please, Daddy?
00:38:03Can it be fixed?
00:38:06We'll see.
00:38:07But you're the wolf king.
00:38:09You can do anything, right?
00:38:11Papa says you're amazing.
00:38:14Papa!
00:38:18Your Majesty, what brings you here?
00:38:19I accidentally broke something.
00:38:21The king fixed it for me.
00:38:22You shouldn't be bothering his majesty.
00:38:23He's very busy.
00:38:24He wasn't bothering me.
00:38:25I wanted to come see you.
00:38:26See you both.
00:38:30It's done.
00:38:31It's really fixed.
00:38:35Papa!
00:38:42He's stable.
00:38:43For now.
00:38:46I need to get his medicine.
00:38:47Go.
00:38:48I'll stay with him.
00:38:53Papa!
00:38:54He'll be back soon.
00:38:57I love being with both my pappas.
00:38:59Sleep now.
00:39:02Maybe I really should tell you the truth.
00:39:15All those years.
00:39:17Raising him on your own.
00:39:22Don't.
00:39:23Everything you're doing now,
00:39:24is it because you love me
00:39:25or because you're trying to make amends?
00:39:27And you?
00:39:28Seven years ago,
00:39:29you left without a single word of explanation.
00:39:31Just abandoned me.
00:39:32That's in the past now.
00:39:33Not for me.
00:39:34You think saying it's in the past
00:39:35makes me forget seven years of hell?
00:39:36I don't know what you're so afraid of.
00:39:38I don't know why you'd rather make me hate you.
00:39:41What am I to you, really?
00:39:43Just someone you can throw away whenever...
00:39:47Your Majesty,
00:39:48you've declined every noble dinner invitation this week.
00:39:51I'm not in the mood.
00:39:53Is this about Heath O'Linther again?
00:39:55If you truly didn't care about him,
00:39:57one sentence from him wouldn't destroy you like this.
00:39:59He said he doesn't love me.
00:40:01But he raised that child alone for seven years.
00:40:03If he truly found someone else,
00:40:05why has there been no one by his side all this time?
00:40:07Your Majesty,
00:40:08perhaps Linter never stopped loving you.
00:40:09Then why did he leave?
00:40:11I'm afraid only he knows the answer.
00:40:15Papa,
00:40:16were you crying?
00:40:19No, sweetheart.
00:40:23Do you really like Wolf King, Daddy?
00:40:26Then why are you both so sad?
00:40:29Sometimes.
00:40:30Not knowing the answer is what keeps people safe.
00:40:34Go back to sleep.
00:40:39You still love him.
00:40:41Why won't you tell him who Eli really is?
00:40:43I can't.
00:40:44You've let him hate you for seven years,
00:40:47which keeps him alive.
00:40:48If he learns the truth,
00:40:49he'll lose everything he has now.
00:40:50And what about you?
00:40:51What have you gained these years?
00:40:54As long as he's safe,
00:40:56that's enough.
00:40:57Why can't you?
00:41:01Your Majesty,
00:41:03you still love me,
00:41:04so why can't you tell me?
00:41:06Because we're not who we used to be.
00:41:07What's done is done.
00:41:14It's okay.
00:41:15Just a bad dream.
00:41:19Wolf King, Daddy,
00:41:20can we all sleep together?
00:41:37Breakfast with me?
00:41:39You're very demanding, you know that.
00:41:51Why aren't you two talking?
00:41:53Eat your food.
00:42:05You're making that scary face again.
00:42:07This is much...
00:42:08Young Master,
00:42:09you mustn't do that to the Wolf King.
00:42:11Eli,
00:42:13apologize to His Majesty right now.
00:42:15Sorry.
00:42:19You're right.
00:42:20Much better.
00:42:31Papa needs to go north to gather herbs.
00:42:33Be good while I'm gone.
00:42:35You're leaving again?
00:42:36I won't be long.
00:42:37You'll see me by this afternoon.
00:42:44I get scared when Papa's away.
00:42:46Can you stay and play with me?
00:42:47Your Majesty,
00:42:48the Council has assembled in the Great Hall,
00:42:50waiting your audience.
00:42:50Eli,
00:42:51stop bothering His Majesty.
00:42:53They can wait.
00:42:55Those old men won't miss me for a while.
00:42:57But only for a little bit.
00:43:01I've got him.
00:43:02Go.
00:43:03Come on!
00:43:04Hurry!
00:43:08Anywhere hurt?
00:43:10That mark,
00:43:11it's identical to my Dark Knight wolf pattern.
00:43:21What's wrong?
00:43:22Only pure Dark Knight royal blood carries this wolf mark.
00:43:25It can't...
00:43:25Eli has a Dark Knight wolf mark on his nape.
00:43:29Identical to mine.
00:43:30If that's true,
00:43:32the child may carry pure Dark Knight royal blood.
00:43:34Lintha already had Eli when he left seven years ago.
00:43:37If Eli is my son,
00:43:38why would Lintha choose to leave rather than tell me?
00:43:41Your Majesty,
00:43:42perhaps back then...
00:43:43He'd rather raise a child alone than let me know.
00:43:45Your Majesty,
00:43:45you've always believed he abandoned you.
00:43:47But is it possible that he left to protect someone?
00:43:49And that someone
00:43:50might be you.
00:44:00You know he's beginning to suspect.
00:44:02You fear him learning the truth.
00:44:03But have you considered that what truly hurts him
00:44:05is that you never gave him the choice?
00:44:07I can't let him be hurt again.
00:44:08So you made the choice for him
00:44:09for seven years.
00:44:14Maybe I was wrong.
00:44:19We need to talk.
00:44:21Seven years ago,
00:44:23why did you leave me?
00:44:25Your Majesty,
00:44:26some things are better left buried.
00:44:27Buried for you,
00:44:28not for me.
00:44:30I've done thorough investigation.
00:44:32You've had no partner,
00:44:33no pack.
00:44:35You raised Eli completely alone.
00:44:37I told you,
00:44:39some things are better under known.
00:44:40Why?
00:44:41Because you think I can't handle it?
00:44:42Or you simply don't want me to know?
00:44:44I'm sick of you deciding for me,
00:44:45seven years ago and now.
00:44:47Have you ever considered
00:44:48that I have the right to know the truth?
00:44:56if you knew,
00:44:57you'd wish you'd never remembered me at all.
00:45:09Tell me,
00:45:12who is Eli's daddy?
00:45:15You mean the truth would make me regret,
00:45:17don't you?
00:45:17Then say it.
00:45:18What would I regret?
00:45:19Calador,
00:45:20please,
00:45:20stop asking.
00:45:21No,
00:45:22I won't let you decide for me.
00:45:24Not again.
00:45:25Is Eli my son?
00:45:29Yes.
00:45:34So you left with our son.
00:45:36I missed his birth,
00:45:38his first smile,
00:45:39his first everything.
00:45:40I don't even know when he first called out Papa.
00:45:43Why would you endure all of that alone
00:45:45rather than tell me?
00:45:48If they discover this child,
00:45:50they'll kill him for sure
00:45:52and slaughter your baby as an abomination.
00:45:54You claim to love him.
00:45:56Can you really stand by and watch him die?
00:45:58Because back then I had no other choice.
00:46:01No choice?
00:46:03Well,
00:46:03you just didn't trust me enough to choose us.
00:46:05If you knew the truth,
00:46:06you'd tear the court apart looking for answers
00:46:08and put yourself in danger all over again.
00:46:10What am I to you?
00:46:11You made me believe you didn't love me,
00:46:13that you had someone else.
00:46:15And now I find out we have a son.
00:46:20Do you have any idea
00:46:21what those seven years were?
00:46:22You think you were the only one suffering?
00:46:25Ever.
00:46:26Back then I had no one.
00:46:32Eli,
00:46:33Papa will protect you.
00:46:39I didn't know if I could keep going.
00:46:42But as long as he needed me,
00:46:43I couldn't fall.
00:46:44You think it didn't destroy me too?
00:46:46I wanted to come back
00:46:47every single day,
00:46:49but I couldn't.
00:46:50I raised Eli alone.
00:46:51There was no help when he got sick.
00:46:53I fought to keep him alive
00:46:54with everything I had.
00:46:55I lost just as much as you did.
00:46:57Lintha,
00:46:59so all these years,
00:47:00you never forgot me?
00:47:01How could I?
00:47:02Leaving you didn't mean
00:47:03I stopped loving you.
00:47:08This time,
00:47:09don't leave me again.
00:47:18Kalidor,
00:47:20do you know how long
00:47:21I've waited for this?
00:47:28Wait.
00:47:29You can still say no.
00:47:33I'm not leaving again.
00:47:34You'd better remember that.
00:47:37enter.
00:47:39Your Majesty,
00:47:40it's urgent.
00:47:41Elder Varen has found records
00:47:42about Eli's bloodline.
00:47:44He demands you bring
00:47:45Eli to the royal sanctuary
00:47:46immediately.
00:47:46Your Majesty,
00:47:47Eli has manifested
00:47:48royal markings.
00:47:49By court law,
00:47:49he must undergo
00:47:50a sanctum examination.
00:47:51You may examine
00:47:52his bloodline,
00:47:53but he stays in my chambers.
00:47:55Your Majesty,
00:47:56that violate protocol.
00:47:58Your Majesty,
00:47:59this is about royal blood.
00:48:01It cannot be bent
00:48:01for one child.
00:48:04You just said
00:48:05he may carry
00:48:06Dark Knight royal blood,
00:48:07which means
00:48:08he is not someone
00:48:09you can simply take.
00:48:10But if it's the truth,
00:48:11the Sanctum must
00:48:11confirm his identity.
00:48:13And I will confirm it.
00:48:14Until then,
00:48:15anyone who touches Eli
00:48:16is defied.
00:48:19His Majesty
00:48:19is disregarding our law
00:48:21just for a child.
00:48:22What is that child, really?
00:48:23For His Majesty
00:48:24to go this far?
00:48:25His Majesty has spoken.
00:48:27No further discussion
00:48:28is needed.
00:48:37Does Your Majesty
00:48:38have further orders?
00:48:41It's no longer
00:48:42about Lintha.
00:48:43It's the child
00:48:44who's changing him.
00:48:47So what do we do now?
00:48:49Nothing.
00:48:50The harder we push
00:48:50against the child,
00:48:51the more suspicious
00:48:52His Majesty occurs.
00:48:56Find out what Veyan
00:48:57has really been doing
00:48:58all these years.
00:49:00Specifically,
00:49:01why he's so fixinated
00:49:02on Eli's bloodline.
00:49:03You suspect the Elder
00:49:04has a hidden agenda?
00:49:06If he were simply
00:49:07following protocol,
00:49:09he wouldn't be this
00:49:10obsessed with one child.
00:49:13The court has its sights
00:49:14set on Eli.
00:49:16Seven years ago
00:49:17when Lintha took him away,
00:49:18what did they go through?
00:49:22Yeah.
00:49:27Your Majesty,
00:49:28the investigation
00:49:29on Elder Veyton
00:49:29is done.
00:49:37We discovered
00:49:38that these years
00:49:38Elder Veyron
00:49:39has been requisitioning
00:49:40the Moonbone Holy Spring
00:49:41Essence in the Royal Vault.
00:49:42That medicine stabilizes
00:49:43Bloodline Backlash
00:49:44and Pure-Blooded Royal Young.
00:49:45Why would he need it?
00:49:46The reason is unclear.
00:49:47And the bottle
00:49:47that was destroyed previously,
00:49:48it was the last one we have.
00:49:50How long has he been taking it?
00:49:51At least ten years.
00:49:52And each requisition
00:49:53far exceeds
00:49:53the normal amounts
00:49:54used by the court.
00:49:56There's one more thing.
00:49:57Seven years ago,
00:49:58before Lintha left the court,
00:49:59Elder Veyron
00:50:00met with him privately.
00:50:02Is there a record?
00:50:04We didn't find any.
00:50:08Understood.
00:50:09Leave these here.
00:50:10I'll ask...
00:50:17Your Majesty?
00:50:22Before you left the palace,
00:50:23you met with Elder Veyron.
00:50:28I want to hear it from you.
00:50:30Why did you see him?
00:50:35He came to me.
00:50:37What exactly happened?
00:50:39He knew I was pregnant.
00:50:40He told me the court was after you,
00:50:42that if I stayed,
00:50:42I'd get you killed.
00:50:48Back then,
00:50:48you weren't the wolf king yet.
00:50:49You had no power
00:50:50to fight the entire court.
00:50:51Did it ever occur to you
00:50:52that I'd rather face it with you
00:50:54than be left behind alone?
00:50:55And you want me to see you
00:50:56go to war against the entire court
00:50:58for me and our child?
00:51:03I knew you'd protect us
00:51:04no matter what.
00:51:05That's exactly why
00:51:05I couldn't tell you.
00:51:07I'm the king now.
00:51:08Are you still going
00:51:09to decide for me?
00:51:21Why did His Majesty
00:51:22bring him to the council?
00:51:24Isn't he a traitor?
00:51:25How dare he stand
00:51:25beside His Majesty?
00:51:34I've gathered you all
00:51:35to correct a mistake
00:51:36that has persisted
00:51:36for seven years.
00:51:38Lintha never betrayed
00:51:39this court.
00:51:39Your Majesty,
00:51:40but the court records
00:51:41from that year...
00:51:41Seven years ago,
00:51:42he left this palace
00:51:43because he was coerced
00:51:44by Elder Veyron.
00:51:45Your Majesty,
00:51:46that is only his version.
00:51:47And mine
00:51:48is my word not enough.
00:51:51Revoke Lineth's
00:51:52defective status.
00:51:53Restore all his former titles
00:51:54and standing within the court.
00:51:56Your Majesty.
00:51:57Something to add?
00:51:59If we're following law,
00:52:00then we must do it thoroughly.
00:52:01The child's identity
00:52:02and bloodline remain untestified.
00:52:04By royal law,
00:52:05he must face a former...
00:52:06Your Majesty,
00:52:06even if Lintha
00:52:07was forced to leave,
00:52:08he's returned
00:52:09with a suspicious child.
00:52:10Is he truly fit
00:52:10to stand by your side?
00:52:11Moreover,
00:52:12the court has already
00:52:13bent too many rules
00:52:14for his sake.
00:52:15Who says he's not fit?
00:52:16Your Majesty,
00:52:17we only worry that...
00:52:18Worry about what?
00:52:19That I chose my own mate?
00:52:20But the position of queen
00:52:21concerns the entire court.
00:52:23That is my decision to make.
00:52:24You want to know
00:52:25who Eli is?
00:52:27He's my son.
00:52:32Your Majesty,
00:52:33are you certain?
00:52:33I know my own blood.
00:52:35Then all the more reason
00:52:36to conduct the bloodline rite.
00:52:38What more do you want?
00:52:39Three days from now,
00:52:40we do the rite of the sanctum.
00:52:42If Eli is truly the future heir
00:52:43of the Dark Knight throne,
00:52:44the Sacred Stone
00:52:45will give everyone their answer.
00:52:46Fine.
00:52:47Eli and I will be there.
00:52:51Happy now?
00:52:52If you have something
00:52:53to say,
00:52:53Your Highness,
00:52:54say it.
00:52:54His Majesty acknowledged
00:52:55Eli as his son
00:52:56in front of the entire court.
00:52:57For you.
00:52:58But do you really think
00:52:59everyone will accept you
00:53:00after all of this?
00:53:01Look for yourself.
00:53:02Because of you,
00:53:02His Majesty is losing
00:53:03their support.
00:53:03That's the price
00:53:04of you staying beside him
00:53:05and he'll always
00:53:06be the one paying it.
00:53:09This time,
00:53:10I won't let him face it alone.
00:53:17Don't be afraid.
00:53:18I'm right here.
00:53:20Begin.
00:53:26The Sacred Stone
00:53:27does not respond.
00:53:28By royal tradition,
00:53:29if the bloodline rite fails,
00:53:30inheritance cannot be recognized.
00:53:31But His Majesty
00:53:32already declared
00:53:32the child his heir.
00:53:33Was His Majesty deceived?
00:53:34That's impossible.
00:53:35Eli is Caldador's son.
00:53:37Is something wrong
00:53:37with the stone?
00:53:38Well,
00:53:39the answer seems
00:53:40rather obvious.
00:53:41That child is nothing
00:53:42but a bastard
00:53:43Lintha had with someone else.
00:53:44Enough.
00:53:45The result is not final.
00:53:47No one has the right
00:53:47to question them.
00:53:48Your Majesty,
00:53:49you're still defending him?
00:53:50Even now?
00:53:53If this child
00:53:54truly carries your blood,
00:53:55why won't the Sacred Stone
00:53:56answer?
00:54:00The stone has awakened.
00:54:02This is impossible.
00:54:10The court's never seen
00:54:11such pure blood
00:54:12in centuries.
00:54:13This proves the child
00:54:14as His Majesty's heir
00:54:15and His lineage
00:54:16is closer to our ancestor
00:54:18than any king before.
00:54:19So this is the power
00:54:20the Dark Knight bloodline
00:54:21lost centuries ago.
00:54:23The king has slipped
00:54:24out of my hand,
00:54:25but as long as I hold
00:54:26the His heir,
00:54:27I still hold
00:54:28the Dark Knight throne.
00:54:30The Sacred Stone
00:54:31has confirmed it.
00:54:32Eli carries pure-blooded
00:54:34royal lineage.
00:54:36The stone has recognized
00:54:37Eli's blood.
00:54:38The court will no longer
00:54:40contest his right
00:54:40of succession.
00:54:41We submit to the
00:54:42will of the stone.
00:54:44Good.
00:54:45Then let's settle
00:54:46the debts of seven
00:54:46years ago.
00:54:47Lintha never betrayed
00:54:48this court.
00:54:49His defector status
00:54:50is revoked.
00:54:51All titles in standing
00:54:52restored.
00:54:53One more thing.
00:54:54My political engagement
00:54:55to Selina is dissolved.
00:54:57Your Majesty!
00:54:58You would sacrifice
00:54:59the Northern Wolves'
00:55:00alliance for a man
00:55:01who once abandoned you?
00:55:04Congratulations,
00:55:05Your Majesty.
00:55:06What determines
00:55:06the future of the
00:55:07Dark Knight Wolves
00:55:08was never the queen.
00:55:10It's this one.
00:55:11Papa, does this mean
00:55:12I get to stay here
00:55:13with you forever?
00:55:14No more moving around?
00:55:15Yes.
00:55:16As long as you want,
00:55:17you can stay right here.
00:55:19What do I call you now?
00:55:21Whatever you want.
00:55:22Everyone calls you
00:55:23Your Majesty.
00:55:24That feels so far away.
00:55:27Eli.
00:55:29He's your father.
00:55:31Really?
00:55:32So he's the daddy
00:55:33I've been looking
00:55:33for this whole time?
00:55:35If you'll have me.
00:55:36Of course I will.
00:55:37I always knew
00:55:38you were my daddy.
00:55:40Elder,
00:55:41is it over?
00:55:42We just accept this?
00:55:43Kaladir broke off
00:55:44the engagement,
00:55:45restored Lintha
00:55:45to the court.
00:55:47Our plan...
00:55:47Patience.
00:55:48The queen never matters
00:55:49in the big picture.
00:55:51Kaladir is no longer
00:55:52the obedient king.
00:55:53And once Eli
00:55:54ascends the throne,
00:55:55the Elder Council's
00:55:56leverage over the crown
00:55:57disappears entirely.
00:55:59So,
00:56:00there's no chance
00:56:01for me to win
00:56:01His Majesty back.
00:56:03For now,
00:56:04yes.
00:56:06Then what do I do?
00:56:08Work with me.
00:56:09That's your only option
00:56:10if you don't want
00:56:10to lose what you have.
00:56:12There's an intruder
00:56:12on the east side.
00:56:13Go check immediately.
00:56:26For years,
00:56:26I've taken every drop
00:56:27of Moonbone Holy Spring
00:56:28I could find.
00:56:29And still,
00:56:30the Sanctum's door
00:56:30refuses to open.
00:56:31Until at the ceremony,
00:56:32the sacred stone ignited.
00:56:34It enlightened me.
00:56:35This door can only be opened
00:56:36by a pure-blooded heir.
00:56:37What does the Moonbone Spring
00:56:38actually do?
00:56:39The purer the royal blood,
00:56:40the more violent the backlash.
00:56:41Every pure-blooded heir
00:56:42in history has faced this curse.
00:56:44So the Moonbone Spring
00:56:46is the only thing
00:56:47in existence
00:56:47that can suppress it.
00:56:51Daddy,
00:56:52why is everyone
00:56:53staring at me?
00:56:54Because today
00:56:54is the first day
00:56:55you stand here
00:56:55as heir to the Dark Knight Throne.
00:56:57The pure-blooded heir
00:56:58to the Dark Knight Throne,
00:56:59Eli.
00:57:00Hail the young prince!
00:57:05What are you thinking?
00:57:06Just that this finally
00:57:08feels like it's mine.
00:57:10I used to think
00:57:10once you became the king
00:57:11you wouldn't need me anymore.
00:57:13The only reason I became king
00:57:14is that one day
00:57:16I'd be strong enough
00:57:17to protect you.
00:57:18Your Majesty,
00:57:19there's an emergency.
00:57:20The Northern Delegation
00:57:21has clashed with our forces
00:57:22at the border.
00:57:23It's spiraling...
00:57:24Your Majesty,
00:57:24the Northern Delegation
00:57:25has already engaged
00:57:26our forces.
00:57:27If this drags on,
00:57:28it could escalate
00:57:29into a full conflict.
00:57:31I'll handle it personally.
00:57:32A wise decision,
00:57:33Your Majesty.
00:57:39Daddy,
00:57:39you're leaving?
00:57:42I'll be back
00:57:42before you even know it.
00:57:45Is it really
00:57:46just the Northern Border?
00:57:48I'll find out.
00:57:49Wait for me.
00:57:52Whatever happens,
00:57:54don't disappear on me again.
00:57:55Not like seven years ago.
00:58:04Kalidar has left the palace.
00:58:07What's our next move?
00:58:10When is Daddy coming back?
00:58:12Soon.
00:58:13Sleep now.
00:58:17Lord Linther,
00:58:18there's an emergency
00:58:19in the royal infirmary.
00:58:19A young royal wolf
00:58:20has lost control of his blood.
00:58:21How severe?
00:58:22The healers are stabilizing him now,
00:58:23but they need you immediately.
00:58:24I'm on my way.
00:58:27This was ordinary fluctuation,
00:58:30not a loss of control.
00:58:31Who reported this?
00:58:32It was Elder Veyron's people.
00:58:34The Elder Council
00:58:35has been thorough lately,
00:58:37digging through
00:58:38every old bloodline
00:58:39awakening record
00:58:39they can find.
00:58:41Digging for what?
00:58:42Pure blood lineage.
00:58:43They're even pulling
00:58:44childhood records.
00:58:45That's why they're screening
00:58:47every young wolf.
00:58:54What Veyron truly wants
00:58:55was never Eli's identity.
00:58:57It's the power inside.
00:59:01All these years of searching,
00:59:03and at last,
00:59:04here you are.
00:59:07Papa.
00:59:08Sleep now,
00:59:09my little prince.
00:59:11Elder,
00:59:12what are you?
00:59:13A routine blood examination
00:59:14for the young prince.
00:59:16Just an ordinary fluctuation.
00:59:18Why would they pull me here
00:59:19right after Kaladin left?
00:59:20The Elder Council
00:59:21has been thorough lately,
00:59:22digging through
00:59:23every old bloodline
00:59:24awakening record
00:59:25they can find.
00:59:26End this.
00:59:27Leave him.
00:59:28It's the only way he survives.
00:59:30Eli is in danger.
00:59:32Eli!
00:59:35Where is Eli?
00:59:37Elder Veyron
00:59:38took the young prince just now.
00:59:39Where are they?
00:59:40He said it was
00:59:40for a bloodline evaluation.
00:59:41We didn't dare question it.
00:59:45Finally.
00:59:59Lord Linther,
00:59:59the Elder has ordered
01:00:00that no one may enter.
01:00:01My son Eli is in there.
01:00:02We cannot let you in.
01:00:03He's not some blood specimen
01:00:04for them to experiment on.
01:00:05We're afraid now, are we?
01:00:06A bit late for that.
01:00:07Seven years ago,
01:00:07you left Kalidor behind
01:00:08to protect him,
01:00:09and now you dragged him
01:00:10into war with his own court.
01:00:12You've never been anything
01:00:13but his majesty's weakness.
01:00:16You're right.
01:00:17Seven years ago,
01:00:18I was afraid of losing him,
01:00:19so I ran.
01:00:21But this time,
01:00:22no one is taking
01:00:23my family from me.
01:00:32Your majesty, what is it?
01:00:33Something's wrong.
01:00:34We go back.
01:00:37Veyron, you took my mate
01:00:38from me once,
01:00:38and now you dare
01:00:40touch my...
01:00:43Kalidor?
01:00:45Are you hurt?
01:00:46I'm fine.
01:00:47Eli's still inside.
01:00:52Your majesty,
01:00:53the Elder's orders.
01:00:54Move.
01:00:59Veyron,
01:01:00you've gone too far.
01:01:01Your majesty,
01:01:02I wondered when you'd arrive.
01:01:04Seven years ago,
01:01:05you drove Lintha away.
01:01:06Now you lay hands on my son.
01:01:08I merely followed royal tradition.
01:01:10A pureblood heir's awakening
01:01:11has always been
01:01:12the court's jurisdiction.
01:01:13This has nothing to do
01:01:14with tradition.
01:01:15Does it matter?
01:01:24Papa.
01:01:29Calidor!
01:01:30It seems the spring's power
01:01:32is greater than I anticipated.
01:01:34The heir's power
01:01:36has awakened the spring,
01:01:37but it can only save one.
01:01:38What a pity.
01:01:39Time to choose, Lintha.
01:01:41Your child,
01:01:41or your king.
01:01:46Your majesty,
01:01:47what are you doing?
01:01:59Calidor!
01:02:01Stay back.
01:02:03Lintha,
01:02:04go.
01:02:05The backlash will hurt you.
01:02:07No.
01:02:08I'm not leaving you behind.
01:02:10Never again.
01:02:21We die together.
01:02:31Impossible.
01:02:32How can Dark Knight royal power
01:02:33be awakened by a mate-bomb?
01:02:53This can't be
01:02:54without me
01:02:56you would never
01:02:56have become king.
01:02:57And you've kept me
01:02:58as your puppet.
01:02:59Your so-called protection
01:03:01is nothing but an excuse
01:03:02to control the court.
01:03:07Elder Veyron,
01:03:08you betrayed the court
01:03:10and harmed the pureblooded heir.
01:03:13As the king,
01:03:14I sentence you to death.
01:03:20Selina,
01:03:22conspiracy with Veyron,
01:03:23also death.
01:03:24Oh, no, no.
01:03:26Please.
01:03:30From this day forward,
01:03:32Lintha is not only my mate,
01:03:33he is the one and only queen
01:03:35of the Dark Knight court.
01:03:37Hail the queen!
01:03:38Kalidor.
01:03:41Miss Tower's always yours.
01:03:43The royal medical system,
01:03:44you rebuild it however you see fit.
01:03:46Then first rule,
01:03:47I don't want to see any patient
01:03:48get hurt again.
01:03:50Just your patients.
01:03:51I can only promise you that.
01:03:56The healer's tower
01:03:57wasn't designed for this,
01:03:58my king.
01:03:59That's true.
01:04:00Bye.
01:04:00Somehow let me back home.
