00:00And the news, frankly, that, Brian, I think you and I were expecting,
00:03Marcus Mariota will be the starter Sunday against the Colts
00:06at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
00:08B, I think this is a prudent move.
00:10I know there was excitement about Jaden, and it's remarkable,
00:13his competitive drive and the medical advancements that have happened
00:17in a little less than two weeks since that Dallas game.
00:20But I thought you go with Marcus one more week,
00:23especially when he performed well against the Seahawks.
00:25He gives you a chance to win this week against the Colts.
00:29And I just think with Jaden, I don't know that you're rushing anything,
00:33but the injury just happened.
00:35Like, this is what I expected.
00:37Obviously, it changed a bit as Jaden was able to practice,
00:41but I'm not surprised today.
00:43I'm not surprised by it.
00:44I felt that that was what was going to happen when you asked me
00:47that I think he's going to play.
00:49I said, no, I think they're going to play Marcus.
00:50The thing of it is, if he had made that miraculous jump to be healed
00:57and be able to go, I think they would have gone with him.
00:58But if I watched him yesterday,
01:01I'd say he looked like he was favoring his arm a little bit.
01:03You know, and it's a situation of trying to get used to it.
01:07Also, you know, you get a brace on there.
01:10Let's be real.
01:11Sometimes when the brace is holding it a certain way,
01:12that may make some pain come to it.
01:14Right.
01:14But you have a guy who just played, I think,
01:17an outstanding football game in Marcus Mariota,
01:20and now you're going against the coach.
01:23Any team in the league can beat you.
01:25But the coach's defense is not what the Eagles were, the Cowboys,
01:30or even definitely it wasn't what the Seahawks were.
01:37But this team can't necessarily worry about the other teams.
01:41It's about them improving.
01:43Yeah.
01:43And whether –
01:44They got to get a win.
01:45You got to get to 2-2.
01:46Whether it's Marcus or Jaden, the other guys,
01:50as I say all the time, have to be performing.
01:52I know people get so caught up in just talking about the quarterback.
01:57And that is the thing.
01:59It's an easy thing to do.
02:00Talk about the quarterback.
02:02But if the other guys aren't doing well,
02:04the quarterback can't do a good job.
