00:16B I think this is a prudent move. I know there was excitement about Jaden and it's remarkable
00:21his competitive drive and the medical advancements that have happened in a little less than two weeks
00:26since that Dallas game but I thought you go with Marcus one more week especially when he performed
00:31well against the Seahawks. He gives you a chance to win this week against the Colts and I just think
00:38with Jaden I don't know that you're rushing anything but the injury just happened. Like
00:43this is what I expected. Obviously it changed a bit as Jaden was able to practice but I'm not surprised
00:50today. I'm not surprised by it. I felt that that was what was going to happen when you asked me
00:55that I think he's going to play. I said no I think they're going to play Marcus. The thing of
00:59it is
00:59if he had made that miraculous jump to be healed and be able to go I think they would have
01:05gone
01:06with him but as I watched him yesterday I see it looked like he was favoring his arm a little
01:10bit.
01:11You know and it's a situation of trying to get used to it. Also you know you get a brace
01:16on there.
01:17Let's be real. Sometimes when the brace is holding it a certain way that may make some pain come to
01:21it.
01:22But you have a guy who just played I think an outstanding football game in Marcus Mariota
01:27and now you're going against the Colts. Any team in the league can beat you. But the Colts
01:34defense is not what the Eagles were or the Cowboys or even dead last yards allowed. 2019 points
01:41allowed. It's definitely not what the Seahawks were. But this team can't necessarily worry about
01:48the other teams. It's about them improving. Yeah. And whether they got to get a win you got to get
01:53to two and two. Whether it's it's it's Marcus or Jaden the other guys as I say all the time

01:59be performing. I know people get so caught up in just talking about the quarterback and and that
02:05that is the thing where it's it's an easy thing to do. Talk about the quarterback. But if the other
02:10guys aren't doing well the quarterback can't do a good job. So if I was I might think is get
02:14everybody else to play well. You know I was asked what do I think is uh the key to winning
02:21the game. I said offensive line playing terrific. Sure. Well well but you don't think well if the
02:25offensive line play terrific then I don't have to worry about what the running back does or
02:28quarterback does. They're going to do well. So you know it's those type of things that like
02:33sometimes I just I think we overdo the quarterback thing sometimes. Yeah I think this week it was
02:38interesting because you know when I you flew over Sunday night I flew over Tuesday night
02:43I thought it was going to be Marcus all along and then Thursday yesterday I'm at the facility
02:49and I see Jaden walking around. We see him go through practice. He's a limited participant
02:53and I think a lot of fans and folks were like oh man maybe he really is going to go.
02:59I didn't get to
03:00hear but I saw EB's tweets that you know Adam Peters was on with the junks this morning and kind

03:05hinting that you know Jaden really wants to play this and that and I still never really wavered from
03:11thinking it was going to be Marcus and and B I'm I don't know anything right and I'm not a
03:17doctor
03:17but I I think with Jaden the the risk of re-injury is obviously a factor and whether it's big
03:25or small
03:26maybe it's very very small in my pea brain I don't want let's god forbid Jaden plays something else
03:33happens you want him to have to get on a plane for eight hours no you play home next week
03:38in the
03:38division and you're just two weeks removed I know he doesn't want to miss any time he doesn't want
03:44to miss any snaps that's the great part of the competitor he is and you don't want to take that
03:49away frankly I think there'd be a problem if Jaden was like I'm gonna take a month I really want

03:55make sure it's good he's got the right mindset but part of that is to have other people around that
04:01are like we love you young man we need you sitting one more week that is what I was just

04:24things that are actually factual and the truth we try to make them more than what they are

04:48proven that to us that hell all I want to do is play I can't I care less about everything

05:06Daniels dressed on the sideline it almost creates its own sideshow let me just tell you this you know

05:20you're not gonna play him but I will tell you don't put him on the sideline in his gear
05:24of course what do you mean he say if he's on if he has his pads on and his full

05:31up on that football field and the damn thing you're gonna be able to do about it he said so

05:35gonna tell you don't let him wear any pads in his pants don't leave his shoulder pads inside
05:40leave his helmet inside because if he has that he's gonna play he's gonna run out there you know he's
05:45like that's who he is so something happened he's on the football field so I think Jaden is that
05:50exact same guy so it's probably best to tell him nah we're not gonna put you in no clothes was
