00:00Lots and lots and lots to get to as the Sabre season begins tonight.
00:05And vibes are all the way up.
00:12The team's back. Everyone's hopeful. Hockey's back.
00:15That's good.
00:16They're supposed to be good.
00:17You know, like, I know they didn't do everything we wanted them to do in the offseason,
00:22but, like, I'll worry about that when they're 1-2-1 or something.
00:26When they're 1-2-1, we'll be right in the season off.
00:29Right.
00:30Today, Columbus and Chicago.
00:32Yeah, like, you know what I did this morning?
00:34I did not check Twitter to see, like, what I missed last night.
00:38What I did was watch back the Game 1 highlights against Boston
00:42and then the Better Days video that they put on the Jumbotron before that game happened.
00:46That's what I did.
00:46Yeah?
00:47Yeah.
00:48I didn't look up, like, what the latest Connor Hellebuck rumor was.
00:51I watched the Sabres montage to start the season with all the guys and all the highlights.
00:56And, you know, this time we go to the arena, that's Saturday.
01:01The montage won't just be goals in November.
01:04It'll be playoff highlights.
01:05Playoff goals.
01:06Yeah, playoff goals.
01:07Yeah.
01:08And that matters.
01:09That helps get the juices flowing.
01:11Yeah.
01:12Vibes are...
01:13Let me put that up as a...
01:14Not even a Twitter poll, but a Twitter fill in the blank.
01:18Because Vibes are indisputably better than they've been in a long time to start a season.
01:24I'd say at least 15 years.
01:26Yes.
01:27I mean, you could argue...
01:28This is maybe 15 years ago.
01:30What's the offseason where they come in with Erhoff and Regeer and they spend a billion dollars
01:35and, like, okay, we're going to be good now.
01:39That start of that season.
01:40Which they were not good in.
01:41I would say start of the first Eichel season would trump that.
01:44Okay.
01:45I looked...
01:45That season with Erhoff first coming in, their over-under was, like, 100 points.
01:49Yeah.
01:50Like, people thought they were going to be really good.
01:52You're probably right, though.
01:53The start of the Eichel year with Kane and O'Reilly against that Ottawa opener.
01:58That's a big one.
01:58They had 10,000 people at Prospects scrimmages and stuff like that.
02:02So, here we are.
02:03The vibes are blank.
