00:17I'm going to tell you, Dan, I love going to Sabre games.
00:20And I saw them getting better, but I didn't see this.
00:25I've seen them up close.
00:25We got great seats, me and my buddy Ian.
00:27He's got seasons, so I've been to four games this year.
00:30And I'm telling you, the speed of this team.

00:35And surprisingly, getting decent goaltending from Lyon and Lukanen.
00:38That was the Sabres' problem before.
00:40Like, they haven't had a great goalie, you know, since Dominic Hasek.
00:43I'm looking at these guys going, oh my God, like Alex Lyon?
00:47The guy's like a backup with the Philadelphia Flyers
00:50and like his whole career.
00:51The guy's playing great.
00:52Out of the games, he played three of them,
00:54and he won all the games that I've been to.
00:55He's been fantastic.
00:56Now they got depth on the blue line after the trade deadline.
00:59And watch out for their young core.
01:01Tage Thompson's one of the best finishers in the league.
01:03Then you got Owen Power.
01:04When he's healthy, he's great.
01:06That's the whole thing.
01:07Norris, another guy coming over from the Ottawa Senators.
01:10They have great young talent on their team.
01:11And finally, finally, they're getting it done.

01:20I take what he's done and the players responding to him.
01:24And that game versus the Tampa Bay Lightning, 8-7.

01:30That was the best hockey game I could say in like the last five years.

01:35Tampa Bay's up two.
01:36Buffalo comes back and wins 8-7.

01:49This is a team that goes deep into the playoffs and it starts to catch up with you.

02:19So, I'm starting to think the Tampa Bay Lightning need a little bit of a break.
02:22I think they'll be fine in the playoffs.
02:23But right now, the wear and tear is really hurting them.
02:26Conversely, as we talked about the Sabres, they're young, hungry, and they love to play every night.
02:29Hell, I wouldn't want to take a day off.
02:31Dan, these guys were 16-1 two months ago to win the Atlantic.

02:35The Buffalo Sabres.
02:36Best bet.
