At IAA Transportation 2026, BYD put its new ETT 44 firmly into the European long-haul conversation. A 4×2 electric tractor with 651 kWh Blade Battery, up to 1,000 hp, up to 600 km rated range and 1.5 MW Flash Charging. BYD says 20–80% charging can take around 20 minutes, adding up to 400 km of range.
Stella Li Executive Vice President, BYD, hooked us when she said, “Less time charging. More time on the road." And the bigger proposition, "One company. One ecosystem. One total energy solution.”
The ETT 44 is backed by BYD's wider proposition across batteries, Flash Charging, energy storage, energy management and financing, rather than treating the truck as a standalone product.
