00:00so recently i don't know if you guys have heard but some alleged text messages from

00:05carmelo anthony's phone have been leaked and um they're quite interesting to say the least and i

00:14think it's absolutely hilarious because especially when you consider who exactly was supporting

00:20carmelo anthony mainly black women uh well some texts from his phone uh got leaked and um

00:28he had some pretty bad things some pretty nasty things to say about black women and

00:34the internet is in shambles and i want to talk about it a little bit because i think it's funny

00:40like i said when you consider the fact that it was a bunch of black women who were actually the

00:45ones that were out supporting him regardless of you know the evidence or the information that was

00:50released regarding the case they were still in lockstep right behind carmelo anthony and now

00:57a lot of them are going the opposite direction so with that being said smack the like button

01:07released and in some of the messages he's talking very badly about black women and how much he can't

01:12stand us and then he's also just talking about badly about women in general and he just seems

01:34that this is not our fight to fight is beyond me i talk about a lot of issues that we

01:40black community and a lot of crime cases that happen and i never once talked about carmelo anthony

01:45because i just got a bad feeling from the beginning from the second i heard about this story

01:50i honestly just felt like he overreacted in his response like yes i understand that austin met

01:56cleft he was a monster on his own and i am not taking up for him in the slightest but

02:01pull a weapon during a fight is a little extreme and it says a lot about you as a person

02:07character and your responses so i just never really cared to defend carmelo and then pictures of carmelo

02:12and his friends and his girlfriend start getting released and the picture was painted very clear for me

02:18i never once thought that this was somebody worthy of black women's support and the proof was in the

02:24pudding i think as black women though we'd be so quick to cape up for people especially black men

02:29and i understand why and this is actually something that i'm still trying to get out of myself because

02:35when i just look at the facts and when i look at the situations that be going on in the

02:40world

02:40there are way more black women that go through really bad things that no one talks about

02:45but whenever a black man is in the press or something has happened we all cape up for them

02:50and we need to stop doing that because look at the way carmelo was talking about us behind closed doors

02:55but if so many of us weren't so quick to just cape up a lot of us would have been

02:59able to see from

03:00the beginning that this probably wasn't somebody worthy of our supports like yes i understand that

03:05racism is a really big problem in this country i understand all the things but i think if you just

03:10at the facts of the situation and you think logically anyone could agree that carmelo's response

03:16to austin metcalf the day of his murder it was a bit much we can't be so quick to just

03:22support people

03:23right or wrong just because they're black because no now look you supported somebody regardless of

03:30how iffy their situation was and now things are coming out and you are feeling stupid for even wasting

03:36your time supporting that man but if you would have just looked at the situation logically and

03:41took your emotions out of it when it first happened more of us would have been able to see that

03:45fight is not our fight and carmelo he just has to deal with the consequences to his actions so yeah

04:39and they basically show that he hated black women and kind of hated women in general

04:44and it's just it's hilarious man hilarious and now a lot of these black women that were out there

04:52caping for them and supporting them are like backtracking out it's just like oh man that's

04:58a darn shame right it really is because you shouldn't have in my humble opinion you shouldn't

05:03have been supporting them from the beginning based upon the evidence within the case right i thought the

05:09case was pretty cut and dry which is why he got convicted um he's gonna be sitting down for at

05:14bare minimum 17 and a half years okay probably closer to 20 years so yeah he's up out of

05:22your coach and now he's lost all the support and the grift is finally over so y'all ready to

05:28about carmelo anthony's text messages and the shit he was saying about black women well if you ain't

05:32ready to talk about it we're about to god damn it the same motherfucking black women that was going

05:36above and beyond to defend this motherfucking mind you y'all rolled down on my behind my position where i

05:43stood on his case y'all wrote the shit out of me i lost hundreds of followers on this app

06:00give me the business for holding his accountable for not being no follow the leader for standing true

06:17all this because i wasn't no follow the leader and i was holding his feet to the fire where they

06:20needed to be and now here it is all this time later after y'all our our people black men

07:03a singular sentence statement that he made against black women that's where you draw the line

07:10i could support murderers but i draw the line at hatred towards black women black people
